Fabula Nova Crystallis Compilation
Fabula Nova Crystallis ("The New Tale of the Crystals") is a compilation of Final Fantasy games that share the same characters, settings, and overall themes, much like the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII.
The series includes a total of seven individual Final Fantasy games, including:
- Final Fantasy XIII - Released for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 on December 17, 2009. Was the first of the series and introduced us to te main character, Lightning.
- Final Fantasy XIII-2 Released for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 on December 15, 2011. Was the 2nd direct sequel to a core series game; the first being Final Fantasy X-2
- Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII - Will be released on February 11, 2014, and will conclude the Fabula Nova Crystallis compilation.
- Final Fantasy Type-0 - Released only in Japan for the Playstation Portable on October 27, 2011.
- Final Fantasy Type-0 Online - An upcoming replacement for Final Fantasy Agito and is being developed for Android, iOS and Microsoft Windows. It is currently set for release in 2016.
- Final Fantasy Agito - Released in Japan on Android and iOS smartphones in 2014, however, the service ended in November 2015.
- Final Fantasy XV - Previously was titled Final Fantasy Versus XIII. Will be the first Final Fantasy for the Playstation 4 console.
