Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time is the fourth installment to the Crystal Chronicles metaseries. It was released on both the Wii and Nintendo DS consoles and it uses a new game engine called the Pollux Engine, which allows players to link up together in multiplayer mode regardless of which version of the game (Wii or Nintendo DS) they are playing.

Although the game wasn't necessirly a commercial success it did receive pretty good reviews, mainly praising the multiplayer element of the game. The DS version did a lot better in reviews and sales compared to the Wii version.

Today is a special day. The hero of the story is about to participate in a coming-of-age ceremony, one that every young person of the village must undergo on their sixteenth birtday.
