Overview

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers is the sixth installment to the Crystal Chronicles metaseries and the most recent release. It was released exclusively for the Nintendo Wii in November, 2012 in Japan. Much like its predecessor, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, Crystal Bearers features a real-time combat, however, this game focuses more on the single-player asepcts. Not having a strong multi-player optoin is probably why this game didn't do critically well, with the story and characters being the strong point.

Much like other games in the Crystal Chronicles series, this game does not have a leveling system. Instead, the player has to customize status using accessories that you make with monster drops and other items. The game really focusing on 'free roaming' and 'exploring' with several of the main bosses hidden and scattered.
