Ivalice Alliance
There were several individual spin-offs and re-released games part of the Final Fantasy Tactics series or the subseries known as the Ivalice Alliance. Although some of these games are more similiar than others, the primary connection is the fictional universe/world of Ivalice in which these games take place in.

Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions
Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions is an updated version of Final Fantasy Tactics for the Sony PSP. It was the second game announced as part of the "Ivalice Alliance" campaign. Being released for an updated console, here is a list of some of the improvements for this port over
- New full motion episodes and cutscenes
- 16:9 aspect ration
- New visual arts illustrated by Akihiko Yoshida
- Two new classes (Onion Knight and the Dark Knight)
- New characters, including Balthier from Final Fantasy XII and Luso from Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift
- Wireless multiplayer mode (both co-operative and competitive play)
- New items and equipment
- Increased party limit
Final Fantasy Tactics S
Final Fantasy Tactics S builds on the tactical role-playing features that made Final Fantasy Tactics what it is today, but added many social features and multiplayer battles. It was only released in Japan on the Mobage social gaming network for Android in May of 2013. The game officially ended its service on July 31, 2014.
- Featured 13 new jobs, including: Air Samurai, Musician, Mini Fighter, Dancer, Vampire, Mail Knight, Sky Pirate, Onion Knight, Oracle, Judgemaster, Piscodemon, Destroyer and Druid
- Gameplay involved joining a clan and fighting other clans in daily tournaments
