Dissidia Final Fantasy is a fighting/RPG arcade game based on both of its predecessors, Dissidia Final Fantasy and Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy. The game was released in Japanese arcades on November 26, 2015, and a PlayStation 4 version may be developed in the future.
Compared to the other Dissidia games, the battle system was completely redone. New features include three-on-three combat feature and new characters made available through updates.. At launch, the game included all 13 main heroes from the previous Dissidia titles and new character Y’shtola. However, Team Ninja is targeting a total roster of 50 characters after updates.
