Overview
Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy is both a remake and prequel to Dissidia Final Fantasy. It is again an action, fighting, and role-playing game for the Sony Playstation Portable (PSP) released in Japan on March 3, 2011 and North America on March 22, 2011. Many of the same characters return in this Dissidia installment, along with many new characters from an array of different Final Fantasy games in the series. New features include the ability to counteract enemies' attacks using assisting characters and now navigation is done through a traditional-styled Final Fantasy world map.
Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy was very well received world-wide and scored a high 38/40 from Japanese Famitsu magazine. Some praised it as one of the best games for the Playstation Portables and a Final Fantasy fan favorite due to the huge cast of characters from across the entire series.
Prologue
