Yeah, the alarm went off on my computer the other day.. It seems to be cooled properly now though. The CPU temp was at over 70C at one point while playing StarCraft O_O

If you are worried about your computers health I have a free program that lets you check your temp in windows, also there is an alarm if it should start to overheat. Let me know if you want it, eh?

Sounds interesting, but I like to have as few background programs running on my computer as necessary; so if the heat gets worse then I'll consider it. Thanks for the offer.

Yeah, I have played on Luna a bit, but I keep getting owned, my team mates always seem to suck though and keep getting owned before me...

2v2 games are quite different to 1v1 games. In 2v2 I find build orders are more relaxed and you get tech when it's needed. For example, I played a 2v2 on LT yesterday where I went Terran (like usual) and my ally was Zerg, we were again a ZP partnership. I went fast gas (at 12 or 13 supply) and I got +1 infantry attack before factory. Then my ally destroyed the Zerg's sunken colonies and my MMF force took down the Zerg's base. I repeatedly asked my Zerg ally for an overlord but he just didn't send one and I got owned by Dark Templar. For two reasons:

1) I was feeling over-confident and decided to not wall up my ramp.
2) I thought scan would take care of any DT so I left about 5 marines and 1 medic at my ramp when I moved out. I was too cheap to build a bunker.

Which is another thing, in 2v2 games you have to make sure your defense is very strong. We should play some 2v2 games some time.

But I will most definately need Zelots if I am attacked, thats why I build them, also gateways isn't much more expencive than Zlots so...

In PvT you don't really need to get a zealot. Doing so slows down your tech. Afterall, what is Terran going to attack you with? If Terran tries to play 11/13 barracks then you'll see it and you can get defenses up; otherwise Terran needs to tech quickly to factory + machine shop because the first dragoon comes out before the first tank.

Maybe I go too fast bust fast is good and late is bad, no?
On Luna I try to fortify my natural but I wonder how much air defence is it worth getting on maps like Luna? They are expencive if you build much.

Expand when you can defend your expansion. My expanding isn't that good, I need a lot more practice at controlling the map. With Protoss you can just have 1-2 templar at your expansions, with a few well placed cannons near the Nexus. If your opponent is going to raze your expansion then you need to constantly scout and see when it's on the move and hopefully cut him off. If you don't, then try taking down one of his expansions, as he must split his army to attack your expansion.

Also, I believe you get many days of constant daylight during the Summer in Alaska. darkViVi should be able to confirm this for me since there should also be prolonged periods of constant daylight in the northern regions of Norway too.

Indeed, that only goes for up north beyond the Polar Circle though. My place of birth is well beyond that line. For 2 months it is like a awfull long day, and again in the winter it's utterly dark for 2 months.

Yeah me too and I rarely use it, if you decide to grab it, it's called Motherboard Monitor and it doesn't launch at start up you just have to launch it when you think your comp is overheating. Anyway...

Yeah, unless I and my allies are going for a fast Zealot rush I build my defences, the beauty of Protoss is that defences are quickly built compared to Terrans and Zerg, but it depends on what map I'm playing also I mostly play 2v2, 3v3 and 4v4.

True, but I often get rushed by Marines, and I rarely pay 1v1 very often I have Zergs to fight to and they can rush quite fast with lings and Zealots is a good ling defence a small group of lots can deal easily with a pretty large group of lings.

Yeah I often forget because I try to defend against any possible form for sneak attack, kamikaze attacks on Nexuses is a popular assault with Mutalisks and such..
But some DT's would be a good idea along with a few cannons.
