Well, not so much creepy as it was annoying, but I don't want to test my luck and attract some real weirdo's attention. Plus, I don't wanna see my picture pop up on some other site for whatever reason. Now THAT would be creepy. I think my face just isn't very expressive, but the good news is that I probably won't get wrinkles until much later in life~

A British person who doesn't drink tea? I kid~ I'm sensitive to carbonation, so I don't drink soda very much at all, and alcohol is a no-no for me too.

I think my friend's tablet is a Wacom Bamboo too. Sounds familiar at any rate. I'll price some eventually. ^^

I can do shading on faces fairly okay, but when I try doing it for the body, it looks weird to me. Do you use references when doing your works? Or have you gotten to where you can work from whatever pops into your head? I wanna eventually get to where I can just use my own imagination, but seeing how a pose is...posed...is so much easier to do. ^^; I could try my hand at drawing a few animals. I always enjoyed drawing people the best though.

Well, I do know that I have to build credit somehow, especially if I ever go out apartment hunting or need a loan for something. No credit can be as big of a warning sign as having bad credit... It's a strange world.

Bahaha... Well, maybe after getting destroyed a few times, I'll learn to fight properly, or at least recall what button does what action. xD Learn by error and all that.

Well, if you don't mind spoilers then.... You only get to play with Shinjiro for like a month (in-game time), then afterward, he gets killed off for real. So sad...but played out very well. Shinjiro dies by protecting a little kid who was trying to kill him. Long story on that. You can save Shinjiro in the FeMC storyline, which I did manage to do. :3 He stays in a coma for the rest of the game though, at least until the very end when you can be reunited with him on the rooftop of the school.

For it's time, MK was pretty hardcore. Nowadays, it's pretty tame, though Noob Saibot's fatality in the newest game can still make some people squirm. It wouldn't be so bad if the victim character was ripped apart faster, but that delay and look of terror on the face.... ><

All in a days work. Be sure to talk to my secretary about paying for my bill. Now to go out for a few rounds of golf. :B

Well, I'm sure we have FF XIII in common, and you said you liked Bioshock, so there's that (possibly). The rest of my PS3 collection goes like this: Batman: Arkham Asylum, Lego Batman (my first PS3 game), MGS4, Nier, and Heavy Rain. Not too many, but I'm planning on getting Arkham City this upcoming Tuesday, and I can peruse some other titles while I'm there.

Play it with some headphones on in a dark room. Maybe that will help make it more scary, or maybe you really don't get scared all that easily. ^^; No plans this year, but I definitely do love the holiday. Spooky atmosphere, crazy/cute costumes, and CANDY! Love me some candy~

Oh man... That sucks... Do you have to go back and kill the ones you already acquired the tails from? :/ Backtracking... It's a gamer's curse. How are you doing with the ICO speed-run trophy? Find any good hints or tricks for that?

I used to have pictures up on this site, but took 'em down for privacy reasons. My eyes are sleepy-looking, or I just look plain bored all the time. xD Maybe replying to messages has the same effect as a nice cup of coffee for you. Do you drink that stuff? I don't. Never developed a taste for it. I do like a nice glass of sweet iced tea if I need some caffeine in my system.

Oh yeah! Definitely! I could use help in just about everything, and faces would be a nice starting point. :3 And I should get me a tablet sometime. A friend of mine bought one that wasn't all that expensive, and he seems to like it well enough. I assume you have one as well? What brand did you get, and are you happy with it?

I took a figure drawing class before, so I can get a basic shape of a man down fairly okay, but the muscle tone is another story. Just something to practice, I suppose. Thanks for the tips~! ^^

Yeah, I'm going to try and start going to bed at a decent hour. I'm already doing much better than I was a few weeks ago. At that time, I was staying up all night and finally getting sleep at around 9 a.m. Now that's definitely not a good habit to keep.

I actually wish I had a credit card sometimes. Build up some sort of credit score with it. Seems like something that may become important in my life at some point. I just never saw much of a reason to get one though. I always make sure that I have the cash to spend if I want something, and if I don't, then I either save up or do without. I don't wanna be one of those people who rack up too much debt and spend more money paying off interest.

That trailer is cool and the gameplay seems legit. Looks fast and fun, and perhaps button-mash friendly? I suck at fighting games, so that's what I usually wind up doing. So, your personas help you in battle? That's cool. It kind of reminds me of the way Yuna fights in Duodecim, though her aeons do all the work.

It's okay if you don't remember Shinjiro. I would say more, but I'd get into spoiler territory if I did. ^^; He was my favorite though.

Oh gawd, that voice.... I know what you mean now when you said it was creepy. I had my headphones on too, and when he spoke I was all like "AHHHHH! MY EARS!" >< Speaking of creepy things, have you heard of a game called Amnesia: The Dark Descent? I watched a playthrough of it with the VGA guys, and I must say...that game deserves all the praise it gets for the creepiness factor. What makes it so good is that it's a real survival horror game. You can't fight the monsters you encounter. Just run and hide and HOPE that they don't find you. Sooooo good! But so damn creepy! Perfect for Halloween. :3

Nice. :3 I should check out some tutorials myself. Actually, I should invest in better tools too. It hurts my hands to use a mouse for too long, and GIMP is okay (especially the free part ), but I want a more advanced program that lets me do more things. I am definitely better at drawing girls, because I can't seem to get a man's anatomy looking alright. Plus, girls seem to have more variation when it comes to clothing and hairstyles. :3 Much more room for creativity. You break the mold~ Be proud of your uniqueness!

Oh yeah. That sounds like a good plan. You can build a nice art portfolio with something like that too, and that will open the way for becoming a more professional artist. ^^

People are hard to read sometimes. They could play games because they like the feel of being able to manipulate others to their whims. Sometimes, it's more innocent, and they don't realize what they're doing to another. Psychology is a...difficult...field of study, imo. The human mind is so deep and varies from person to person. I know when I took an intro to Psychology in college, there was a lot to wrap my head around, but it was interesting. However, definitely not something I could see myself doing for a living. Ever hear this joke before? What's the difference between a psychologist and a coal miner? The psychologist goes down deeper and comes up dirtier.

As for your friend, I can't really say what's up with the situation with any kind of certainty. I don't think she'll just up and tell you to "get lost" though. ^^ Your theory is probably correct, or at least on the right track (her putting a "limiter" of sorts with online communication). Hopefully, that wall comes down, and you can chat it up with her like you used to.

Haha, maybe it is unhealthy, but I've been this way for a looong time, and it's a hard habit to break. It is probably one that I should work to improve though, definitely.

Well, when I played P3P, the only real challenge was doing Elizabeth's sidequests, and even then it was more a matter of being patient than it being straight up difficult. I have talked to people who say that P4 can be downright RUTHLESS when it comes to the dungeons, and even some of the bosses. Shadow Yukiko comes to mind on that.

I have a PS2, just can't find a copy of P4 around here. I would order it online, but I have no way of doing that. Probably a good thing that I don't, because there's a LOT of wonderful stuff that's available online. :3

There's gonna be a Persona fighting game, eh? Heh, I'll have to look into it. And I hope at least one of the characters you remember from P3 is Shinjiro~ <3 He is awesome. :3

I haven't played Blazblue before, sorry...but I have talked with Fate about it before. He was schooling me on a few characters that he liked, but I can't think of who they are atm... ^^; Wow, this is pretty good. I like the ferocity of the track. Very fast and energetic. I also dig the style of the dude with the green hair. Very sharp.

I dunno when my PS3 will get back online, though I would like for it to be sometime soon. It'd be cool to actually play games with people, instead of sticking to single player games.

Yeah, those two voices sound pretty similar. It's amazing how much range some peoples' voice can get. And I haven't heard Teddy's Japanese VA before. Maybe I'll look up some vids later and hear it for myself.

Eh... Since the movie and the Compilation came out, there's a good amount of smexy Sephy HD renders around the net, so that need is satiated. :3 I'm not even sure if I want a remake or not. It could be nice, but then again, I'm sure there are a few things that would be changed. Things that made the original game so quirky. Like the Honeybee Inn/Don Corneo/Cloud cross-dressing scenes. Those are funny when it's innocent-looking polygons and text speak, but to render those scenes to higher quality and add voice work... I dunno if SE would really do that. I'd be surprised if they didn't alter those greatly.

Hopefully someday, you could even sell some works and support yourself with your art. That would be awesome. Have you thought about doing commissions at all? It'd be a cool way to earn a few bucks. ^^

Hmm... That does sound a little odd. I can't think of a reason why she wouldn't add you to her other social networking stuff since you both seem to get along so well. People nap for different reasons. Sometimes it's a medical thing. It could be a heat thing as well. Mostly for me though, my sleep schedule is all out of whack, and I wind up staying up too late, and having to make up for it sometime during the day. I love the night though. It's peaceful and I like it.

You're not a bad person for not finishing up those games. They're greatly time-consuming. I did manage to play Persona 3 Portable twice. Once as a boy and the other as a girl. It's a fantastic game, but it takes a LOT of hours to complete, and I was doing the easy mode! I'm still not completely finished with the FeMC story, but I am on the last month of the game. I already know what happens though, and finished up the social links that I wanted to see, so it's good enough for me. I want Persona 4 so badly, mainly because the characters seem to have better...uh...characterization that 3 did. They seem more lighthearted and fun.

Heh.. I thought Padraic might have done that. When I posted my comment on your art, I looked up and saw his "STEAK STEAK STEAK" thing. xD I was like "Oh, maybe she has seen it." ^^; Oh well. It's still facking hilarious. I love Hiimdaisy's comics. :3

I'm sure the anime will follow the game pretty closely, albeit without all the dungeon-crawling. I hope they manage to get the same voice actors too.

Like the old saying goes: "The bigger they are..." You know the rest. I kid~ My oldest brother is two years older than I. My second youngest brother is two years younger, and my youngest brother is two years younger than him. So the age gaps are not very big at all, which would probably explain all the antagonizing. And barbies do make quite the effective bludgeoning weapon! Also, you can tie their hair together and have makeshift nunchucks. xD

Being eaten? Blech... But that is a good point. Fantasies about feeling helpless and under another's control is quite a fetish, though I'm sure if you look hard enough, there's a fetish for pretty much anything (as scary as that can get... ) I've had fangirl tendencies for a few dudes, though my most long-standing idolization would be for this guy. x3 Might have something to do with my favoritism for FF VII as well.

Illness doesn't really stop me from playing games. I tend to also get burnt out from playing games sometimes. Like, if I play too many of the same type of game, I'm just like "Okay, enough of this for a while", and then I look at my collection and see that I don't have a lot of variety to pick from, or I played the other games to the ground. I appreciate the well-wishes though. ^^ And it's good to take a break sometimes. You can use this opportunity to focus on your other hobbies! The journalism thing does present a problem though. I have no idea how you'd work a hiatus around something like that. :/ Does your PSN friend not have an instant messenger or other social networking thing set up? That must have been hell when PSN was down for those few weeks... Hopefully something like that doesn't happen again.

Well, I didn't watch 'em for long, and watching really doesn't beat actually playing the game, but I got the basic idea for the customization. Lol, pigtails. The ultimate girly hairstyle. I haven't worn my hair like that since I was small. Never liked having my hair up, since it would give me headaches. Figured out later that my mom would put it up too tight because my hair is so fine that the bands would slide out.

Yeah, he did sleep in a coffin and is seemingly immortal. He doesn't age, at least. Vampire would be a much better correlation, and I don't understand the appeal for that fandom either. As for my own fangirl tendencies, I like hot guys with great bodies, who also tend to be rather stoic but badass at the same time. /superficial preferences x3

Oh yeah. Now that you mention it, that "argument" makes me go At least they say it's a good game. Better than just outright hating on it. ^^

The graphics are hard to look at, which is probably why sooo many clamor for a remake, which I'm not sure if I want or not. I'm sure there are some things that would be changed, most likely the whole honeybee inn/Don Corneo scenes. Cloud dressed in drag and flirting with a man would be hilarious to watch in HD though. xD

Oh yeah. I take breaks all the time, though I usually wind up at least looking at gaming info online, and I have a lot of game soundtracks that I listen to, so I've never gone completely cold turkey. I've gone a couple of months of no playing though, mostly because I just wasn't feeling up to it. Are you thinking of taking a bit of a hiatus?

There's a couple of vids on youtube that showcased the character build for Dark Souls, though I only saw ones pertaining to male characters....and they looked uuuuuglyyyy. Well, you don't see the characters' faces much when playing, I'm sure.

Haha... Yeah, that's pretty much it. It's like having a virtual fish tank of sorts, only with human-looking characters. It is funny to watch them interact though, especially when you get sims who have quite opposing personalities. Or maybe I'm just easily entertained. ^^;

I never got the appeal of Vincent. He's practically a shape-shifting zombie with relationship issues...but maybe it's the dark and brooding aspects that drive the fangirls wild? xD Fangirls be crazy, yo. Haha.. Like I have any room to talk.

I couldn't believe how much heat XII got when I joined up on the forums. People complaining over the most irrelevant things, such as the gambits and license system. What really gets me is the fact that they don't seem to understand that you don't HAVE to use gambits in order to play the game. :/ Ah well. Different strokes for different folks, and the game does have a fair amount of fans, so we're not totally alone.

VII was indeed my first Final Fantasy game. I know people tend to say that VII is only popular because it was the first for a lot of people, and maybe that's true, but I do enjoy the characters/story/world a great deal. Shame that it's become so exploited/convoluted with the Compilation though.

What about you? What was your first FF game?

Maybe playing in front of people makes them nervous, and they buckle under the pressure? I dunno. I don't really watch a lot of demonstrators play games. I didn't even catch this year's E3, and last year, I just waited for people to reply about the highlights to the thread I made about it.

Most of the people I wonder about, I don't have any other contact aside from these here forums. I am probably just over-thinking things though.

Ah.. One of those games that's slow to warm up, but gets better and better with time, eh? I've had a few experiences with games like that, but I stuck with 'em and was glad for it. Sounds like an enjoyable game so far, other than one or two hiccups here and there. ^^ Lol @ the suicidal boss. Wonder if that was a game glitch or if developers threw it in? Well, whatever it was, it made me smile to read that. How many hours of gameplay do you think will be in this game? And what does your character look like? Sucks about the creation mode not being as detailed as the first game... Seems odd to me that developers would skimp on that aspect, especially in a sequel.

Aw... No Sims games for you? Haha. It's alright. They're definitely something that is a hit or miss with people. Same with "Sim Life" games in general, I suppose.

She wanted to be him? Wow. His life pretty much sucked, but more power to her if she thought it was awesome. And my favorite FF games are tied between VII and XII. I do enjoy the others I played quite a lot though, but those two are my favorites.

Ugh.. I know. It's the business side of the entertainment industry, I suppose. :/ I do sort of wish SE would release the FF Ultimania books in English, and make them available overseas, but those tend to ruin the fun of fan speculation too.

TFF has it's ups and downs, as with all forums, I'm sure. I just hope that the people that have moved on/taking an extended leave are doing alright. I have contacts with a few outside of the forums so I can keep in touch that way, but for others... I worry. :I
