I think the third film and the tv series had lady terminators. I watched snippets of the film and I vaguely remember a leather-clad lady bent on killing the mains, but I never watched the show.

They changed it? Without asking you or anything? That's some "Big Brother" shite right there. I guess the site is hopping aboard the caustic critic train. Seems quite a few sites do that so readers will get into heated arguments with other commentors. More activity=more monies, unless you have ad-blocker, then they don't get anything.

I appreciate your sympathy~ ^^ I have a few second-hand games, though most of 'em I have because I can't find a new copy of a game I want. I would definitely much rather open up a new package (with that glorious new game smell~ Mmmm!) than mess with one that only Lord knows who or what touched it. :U

I'd go with Saints Row as well. It seems like it'd be a great time-sink. It's basically a more gritty GTA type of game, right? Except you can do a lot more crazy stuff. I glanced at some news here and there, though I don't usually do those sand-box type of games. It's a little overwhelming for me. Have a mentioned that before? I had a sense of déjà vu come over me just now. I guess I could re-read the past messages, but I'm lazy.

Congrats on your victory~! One game down....only 234645 more to go! No, but srsly, way to go~ Especially on a challenging game like that. Did you ever get to play with other TFFers (or anyone in general)? That Dark Souls thread had quite a few responses to it. Glad to see it generate some good activity. The site could really use it. (not that I'm helping much on that front... ^^; )

For real... I don't really play those types of games, but I just know that I would get so lost and a bit overwhelmed. Sandbox types like that have a lot of stuff to do, which is great, but I think my ADD would go into overdrive-mode and I'd be all like "LETS GO SEE ALL THE THINGS!!!!11!!" xDDDD

I haven't seen the new episodes. I wasn't too much of a fan of the original run, but if you say it's good, then perhaps I'll check it out sometime. ^^ I'm sure there are some episodes lurking on the internets. Speaking of animation, do you like anime at all? I'm watching Persona 4: The Animation now. Here's a link to first episode if you're interested~

I definitely had my rage face going when my message wasn't sending. ^^; I hate technology sometimes, but only for a little bit and then I get back to loving it again. :3

Maybe you are some kind of android... Or a TERMINATOR! O_o Are you on a mission to find John Connor?

I suppose you don't really know until you try, but I think I'll still give it a pass. I do appreciate the offer though. ^^

Well, if you buy the game new, the game comes with a code that you can use to download Catwoman, so you technically aren't paying extra. Methinks that was done so people won't wait until used copies start popping up, and the game makers can make their profit.

Nice picks! I noticed no mention of Skyrim though. Loads of people are so excited for that game. Are you into WRPGs at all? My older bro loved one of those Elder Scrolls games, though I can't for the life of me think which one it was (it was on the PS3). He also really liked Fallout 3. Dunno if he got into New Vegas, but I'd be money that he did.

Haha. You sound like me. Takes me ages to finally crawl out of bed. When my alarm goes off, I hit it like 5 times before I'm like "okay FINE! I'm getting up now! ><" Been ages since I had to be up at 7 in the morning...that's too early madam! I might try and push for 9 am though....or maybe 9:30...

Yeah...sorry about that. My connection gets wonky at times, and I get really impatient and keep hitting the send button.

You don't take bathroom breaks? You must have a steel bladder to go along with those nerves of yours.

I don't think I have the writing skills to be any kind of journalist. I wouldn't even know where to start with something like that, but a pretty sweet suggestion nonetheless. ^^

Heh, yeah... In hindsight, that was a really dumb thing to stay up so late just for that, especially when I can just go back and watch the recorded stream anytime. ^^; I was really excited to see the game in action though, and I doubt I could have slept anyway. 11:30 is a pretty decent time. It's not too early anyway.

The opening was pretty sweet, I must say. I am sort of bummed that you have to download the Catwoman chapters, which make up ~10% of the story (or so I heard). I thought she was going to be included in the game proper, since there was a lot of hype for it. Ah well.

You have awesome friends! And oh gosh... It's getting to be that time of year again. Holidays are coming~! Time flies so fast. Heh, 4 games in a month is a pretty good limit, though I'm probably lucky to get that many in a year. Which titles are you thinking of picking up?

Wow, you really are an early bird. Not a bad thing in the slightest, btw. ^^

I think being like that was just their way of weeding out the ones that weren't up to snuff, but still, I didn't like it. Thanks for the support. ^^ I don't think I'd make any kind of good therapist though. It's one thing to offer a bit of friendly advice from time to time, it's quite another to give a critical analysis of a person's mental state.

Nah, it's not even nearly as scary as Amnesia. More darkly quirky than anything. Besides you have nerves of steel! You can handle it. ^^ Amnesia made me turn on all the lights when I had to take bathroom breaks. xD

Oh, I know~ To be considered a professional gamer, to make a living doing what you love, that has to be the best job EVER! I suppose there is a chance of suffering from burnout, but it's still miles better than most other jobs I can think of.

Yar... I didn't think I'd be able to pick it up day one, but at least it's finally out! I wasn't going to watch any of the playthrough at all, because I don't want anything spoiled. I finally convinced myself to watch them play some of it, which they got started on it at about....2:30 am in my timezone? What time do you usually get to bed? Might be a good target time for me too.

Awesome. Harrison Ford has to be one of the coolest old people ever. He looked like he really enjoyed playing the game, other than when he was getting his booty handed to him in that one fight. His expression was pretty priceless! x3 Uncharted 3 looks really great too. ^^ You interested in picked up that title at all? I remember you saying the other Uncharted games were pretty, but a tad overrated.

Huh, so I guess I did it on purpose...

Indeed it is. It's funny how people get all up in arms over silly stuff, then when they get used to the change, it's all like "how did we ever cope without this?!!?" It takes some getting used to, maybe.

I don't think I'll do the lifeguard shtick ever again. I don't want to go through the certification courses. Those were hell, and the teachers I had were real uppity jerkfaces. >< Heh, but it was a pretty good summer job, and I managed to earn enough that summer to pay off insurance and tags for my car for that year. I've never known what I wanted out of life. I know I'm not the only one who has felt that way, but it doesn't make things any easier. :/ Ah well. No sense in bugging you with stuff like that, thanks for putting up with it though. ^^

Yeah, you're not the only one who felt "noobish". It must have been some challenge if another game had to be released with an easier mode. Nowadays, I suppose game companies can just release a patch to fix stuff like that. Ah, the wonders of internet. :3

I suppose the art style can be a bit unsettling, and there are a few parts in the game that have quite a dark tone, but it is a good game. Just needs more love. :3 If you ever do play it, I hope you enjoy~!

I tend to stick with TGWTG and its affiliates, but yeah, I do tend to watch internet shows a lot. I can't even tell you why they're so appealing to me. Might be because it seems more personal than stuff that plays on TV. I don't even watch regular TV anymore. I use that just for gaming. :3

Nah, I don't really watch competitive matches online, so I don't have a favorite. That youtube link you sent was pretty interesting to watch though. I can't imagine how many hours they must have put in to get that good. Stuff like that can almost be a full-time job.

    Wish my PS3 was a slim. I bought my PS3 a month before those models came out, and I could have just kicked myself for not waiting one measly month longer to get 'em. Live and learn, I suppose. That'll teach me to be more patient! ^^;

I stayed up too late to watch the VGA guys (and gal) play Arkham City... Just when I start getting my sleep schedule on track, they had to go and do a midnight playthrough of the game. XDD Still, it was really awesome watching them play, and I really can't wait until I can get my copy~!

Thanks muchlies for the link~ ^^ Took a look and it seems a LOT of ideas have more down votes than up ones....wonder why that is? I didn't bother to read the comments for peoples' justification, but I assume many of those have to do with "Change is scary!" :/ There's a lot of good ideas though.

Bahaha~ It was an easy job. The worst emergency I had to deal with was doctoring a stubbed toe. xD The rest of the time was just yelling at kids not to run around the pool, and baking in the sun. Do you mean going back to school and such? I dunno about school, but I'll have to go back to the work force eventually. Gotta earn that cash so I can do something with my life, but what that something is...I have no clue.

Yeah, the Special Edition of DMC 3 was rereleased with an easy mode after complaints that it was too hard...and since I had trouble with that version, I can only imagine how much of my ass would have been kicked in the original! Plus, Vergil was playable in the updated version, so there's another perk to that one (not that I ever actually got to play as him, mind you). Oh wow. I am really behind on my gaming news. This is the first I've heard of any talk of a KH HD, as well as the Jak and Daxter games.

I'd like to see Psychonauts get an HD upgrade, or at least be a downloadable title (you can get it on the 360, but not the PS3...). Ever played that? It was quite a gem. Fantastic visual style, and pretty humorous too. It fell into the curse of poor sales though, but had pretty high critical acclaim.

I lurve Zero Punctuation. :3 He's really entertaining, but also insightful with his views. Spoony is either hit or miss with me, but I generally like his stuff. He tends to ramble a bit too long in his VLogs. Ah well. Who's your favorite famous player?

Hope you had a good sleep!

Nice~ Well, nice that Sony lets the people weigh in their opinion on what features they'd like to see, not so nice that the feature you want is being downvoted into oblivion. :/ Is that poll thing available online, or is it a PSN thing? I'll definitely check it out if I can. ^^

I used to tan really well. Worked as a lifeguard one summer, and my skin got so dark I could nearly pass for a black girl. After life started getting a little more hectic (college, job, other grown-up stuffs), I just didn't go outside like I used to, and now my skin is pretty sensitive. I burn real easy, even when I have a high SPF in my sunscreen.

Oh wow. A DMC HD collection. After you said that, I took a lookie over at Siliconera, and they reported that it will have DMC 1, 2, and 3 packaged together, but the 3rd game will be the updated rereleased one (the one they released with an easier mode, and the one I still couldn't beat. ) I dunno if I'm sold on that collection, but it's nice that they're being offered up for fans. What other series are left to get an HD upgrade? Seems like there's not too many. I wonder if SE will ever release Kingdom Hearts in HD? Those series have already had a lot of rereleases, but only in Japan.

Do you watch any internet shows (Angry Video Game Nerd, Nostalgia Critic, Mega64...many others I can't think of right now)? I watch a lot of stuff on That Guy With the Glasses, probably too much. I like the nostalgia trip though, even if those reviewers sometimes rip my fond memories to shreds.

Oh well. Still awesome, and thanks again! I'd like to know how people make those .gifs where only a portion of the picture moves, so it cuts down on file size.

Oh, I know! When I was typing up my previous VM, my attention kept getting reverted to the .gif. It's so...hypnotic. @_@

Heh, that seems like the M.O. of most men, irl or online. Hormones are quite the driving force, eh?

Oh, I didn't even think of that. Haha. Maybe that's something Sony should look into? I think Microsoft has the option to hide the achievement notifications. Sony should jump on board that idea.

It's the completionist blood in you, and it is pretty satisfying to conquer something that is giving you problems.

Tanning is overrated. It can cause melanoma, and your skin to age much faster. Better to be pale and young-looking than wrinkled leather. At least that's my justification for it. I'm pretty pale myself.

I was having fun for a bit, but then remembered why I put it down to begin with. Grinding is such a chore, especially now that my main fighters have already learned all their persona moves. Nothing really to work for other than getting their HP up so they aren't annihilated in the final battle, which will be a loooooong fight. The boss has multiple forms. I forget how many, but it's pretty ridiculous.

It's....it's beautiful~! :') Did you make that? I have a few .gifs I made, mostly from MLP, but I was lazy and used a gifmaker that's available online. It's quick, but you have that ugly tag at the bottom to deal with, so you have to crop it out with an image manipulation program.

It's always nice to find someone who shares the same hobbies/passions, no matter what they look like, or so that's what I think.

    D'awww~ I'm a smarty-smart pants! :3

Yeah, I tried looking on Google too, and the only things that popped up where links to download the sound. Sony... Y U so secretive?

I can see how it would sort of "cheapen" the experience, but I'm sure many more people would be in an uproar if those games didn't have trophy support. Sort of a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" scenario, I suppose.

Good to hear that your game is fun, albeit challenging, unless the fun lies in the challenge, then hooray all around~ 7/10 is still pretty high. Above average, at least, unless your average is around 7. Most major game review sites get flak from the commenters if a big/anticipated game gets anything near "average". It's a tough market, that's for sure.

Extended pleasant weather, eh? That's good to hear. Soak it up while you can! So what did you wind up doing on those days? Go out for a walk or anything? :3

I'm doing good. After all the talk about the Persona series, I decided to try and finish up my FeMC game on P3P. I'm on the 6th day of the last month of gameplay, and have 3 more social links to max out: Aegis (robot girl), Yukari (brunette girl I think was one of the characters that you remember) and Mitsuru (the snobbish rich girl). I don't think I'll get 'em all, but if I can at least get one finished, then I'll be happy.

There's a good number of characters to choose from in the game. Maybe She-Hulk just gets lost in the mix for a lot of people? I dunno, just my guess. And no problem about the list. ^^ I saw it, and was like "Oooooh~! I gotta share!"

Yeah, it's getting more common for girls to play games, though there's still a bit of a stigma online about it (or so I hear). That's how come you hear tales of girls who play male characters in things like MMORPGs and don't do voice-chat, because guys will tell 'em things like "Get back in the kitchen!" or will try and flirt constantly if they know they're a girl. Kind of funny to me, but I can see how that can get annoying.

Yeah, I wouldn't delete her unless she was being unruly (sending mean messages and such), but I'm sure you already drew that conclusion. It's normal to feel upset when you're not getting the attention you want, but don't let it bother you. Just take it in stride. Easier said than done, I know. I've been in situations where I wished a person would return the way I felt about them, but I think things happen (or don't happen) for a reason.

Not a problem! Glad I could be of a little help for ya. ^^

I dunno what makes that sound either. Maybe some chime setting on a electronic keyboard? Sounds fairly similar to me anyway. Never heard the Xbox Achievement sound, but looked one up...and there is definitely something left to be desired on that.

Games are expensive to make, which is probably why so many companies aren't as willing to be as experimental as before. Shame really, but this also gives a chance for a newer generation to play the games that we grew up on. ^^

Yeah, I hear ya on the whole babies thing. So many of my friends are settling down and having kids, and I'm like "Not for me, thanks!" They're cute sometimes, but then I think of all the mess, expense and tantrums that they can have, and I secretly wish my uterus would just shrivel up so I won't have any.

Have Phoenix Wright go up against She-Hulk, and it'll be the courtroom battle of the century! Btw, I was checking out Siliconera, and saw this article: Ten Things Capcom Want You To Know About Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 | Siliconera Thought you'd be interested in reading it. Might give you some helpful tips/insights to the changes being made.

I don't make it a priority read manuals, unless it's been a while since I played a game, and need a refresher course on how to work some controls or something. I'm usually even too stubborn to do that, and just relearn from trial-by-error.

Oh nice. It'd be cool to enter in one of those things, though I'd be nervous about playing in front of a lot of people. Might be a good write up for one of your gaming columns too, unless you're just stuck having to do reviews. Best of luck to you and your friend when you get there. I'm sure you won't be the only girls either. Girl gamers are loads more common nowadays than years back.

Hmmm... Tough call to make on that. If I were in that situation, I'd still keep her in my contacts, but wouldn't wait around for something to happen. You could wind up disappointed if nothing changes. It's up to how you feel about the situation though. Make the choice that you feel is right for you.

That's definitely an upside to the waiting. Lovely HD graphics, smoother framerates, more content, and possibly trophy support~ I do love the sound that pops up when you earn a trophy. x3

Yeah, they look very samey too me as well. Cracked had a pretty funny article on the subject a while back too. xD

Well, some people thrive on misery too. It's a sort of twisted way of attention-seeking. I knew a few people who were like that. Nothing seemed to make them happy, but at the same time, they weren't really doing much in the way of making the situation better. Ah well. Kids are pretty analytical. It's how they learn...and how they find your weaknesses and try to find a way to exploit them for their own evil agendas! Kids aren't all that bad once you're around them a lot, but it's understandable if it's something that is off-putting for you.

D'aww~ That's a cute story. :3 And he does seem to have the makings to be a real ladies' man. ^^

Yeah, I'd say I'm a pretty strong introvert, at least until I get to know people better. Have you ever taken one of those personality profile test things? I forget what I came out with, but I do remember being labeled an introvert. I don't take too much stock into those kind of tests though. People have multi-facets to their personalities, and you can't really peg a person by just a few questions.

Oh man, that is SWEET~! LOVIN his moves, especially his finger point of doom! Phoenix Wright sounds different to me though. Maybe because it's fully voiced, whereas the games just had a few snippets of dialogue. Oh well. Still awesome. :3

A glass of wine a day is supposed to be good for you, but yeah, the rest of the stuff is not so hot.

READING???? Who does something like that in games nowadays? If you get good enough, you can try your hand at some tournaments, and maybe win some cool prizes~

Hmm... That's a good thing to check. It has been a while since I played my PS2, so it's very likely that was the case. Also, the connection could have been loose. It played fine today, so I'm thinking that was it.

Heh.. Seems like a lot of games are getting the HD treatment, which is good for me, because I didn't jump on board the PS3 train when they were still being made with backwards compatibility. I chose to get a Wii instead, and now that's all boxed up and possibly ready to be sold off. :/ At the time though, there wasn't any games that I wanted for the PS3, and I really wanted Twilight Princess. Ah well. No sense in complaining now, especially since my PS2 is still in pretty good shape.

I haven't played that many JRPGs this gen, other than a few rereleases. Definitely not that big of a market in that genre as it was waaay back in the SNES, PS1 and PS2 days. I'm sure it's just how trends go, though I could do without all the mindless shooter games that are clogging the market atm.

I don't think people forget how to have fun, but the idea of what they think is fun just changes. Good on ya for still having a youthful spirit though. ^^ If you ever find yourself working with children, I'd bet you'd be really popular with them, since you could probably understand why they like the things they do. That's a good trait to have.

It's was gross outside today, so I practically did nothing at all, but it was still a pretty good day. I haven't really drawn much. No real inspiration to do anything atm, but that will come back eventually. I have spurts of creativity happen every now and again, and then for a while, nothing.

Trust me, there's nothing to be jealous of. Actually, I have people tell me that I am hard to read, because I keep the same face pretty much all the time. Inwardly, I feel very expressive, it just doesn't seem to show on the outside.

Pretty much everyone I know drinks, including my family. My parents only really drink if it's a social thing though. So, I know what it feels like to be the "outcast". :/ I have been to a couple of bars because that's where my buddies liked to hang out, but I didn't have very much fun. Stuff like that just isn't for us, I suppose.

Aww~ That's nice of you to offer to teach me fighting skills. :3 Maybe there's a tutorial mode in the games I could do for a while. Super Smash Bros. Brawl had one. I still button mashed a lot in that game. ;p It's so chaotic! Especially with four players hitting each other with all the crazy weapons that spawn every so often.

Yeah... Poor Shinjiro pretty much gets the short end of the stick.

    I don't know if a lot of people were actually bothered by it, but when the game came out, the fatality did generate a bit of buzz. That's how I found out about it, and decided to watch it for myself. I thought it was pretty gruesome. ^^;

The word so far on Arkham City is pretty positive. I'm trying not to look up too much info about it beforehand, but it seems like it will be a lot grander than the first game. So yeah, next week cannot get here fast enough! I think I need a new PS2 controller too. I was playing KH:CoM, and it just stopped working for a moment or two. I wiggled the connection and it worked fine after that, but I dunno if it will stay working fine. :/ I have the worst luck with wires.

Didn't Metal Gear already get a collection? Maybe it was a bundle for the PS2. I am waaay behind on my MGS news. I did enjoy 3 a lot, and didn't really notice any camera issues. I'm not all that perceptive when it comes to stuff like that though. Still gotta finish up 4. Haven't played the first two at all, but watched some gameplay vids on 'em. I hear the ending of 2 had quite the mind-screw.

I don't have the second Bioshock either, and I dunno if I want to get it. What made the first game so great for me was exploring Rapture and finding out it's dark secrets. I dunno if going back will have the same impact. I do wanna try to get Infinite when it comes out though. Columbia could be pretty interesting to explore, and will probably be pretty creepy in it's own right.

That's good news! I think it shouldn't matter if you had "formal training" in writing, as long as the pieces you write are interesting and are relatable/informative to the reader, and since they want you on the main site, I'd say you're doing just fine. ^^ Best of luck, and hopefully you'll see some cash flow your way.

Isn't it funny how as children, we could spend hours on the most mundane things and still be entertained by it? I used to spend hours on games just doing essentially nothing but testing the limits of what I could do. Ah, to be young again~

I keep saying thanks but thanks again! xD I really do miss her sometimes and I know you do, too. We'll get her back, someday. I totally am! I can't wait to completely waste several hours of my life on the game! Are there trophies on HD-remake titles? Oh, and I might import it. I have a bank card now so it'll be easier! Oh, we mentioned her loads! You just never took the name in because you're a forgetful sod. xD Just kidding! I'm doing better now, lovely! <3
