Oh yeah. I didn't realize it was that date until someone on FB was like "oh noes, Friday the 13th!!!" Yeah, it's supposedly a bad luck day for us too. I used to believe that stuff when I was younger, that and the full moon thing, but now I figure I just make my own luck.

There's a thread on the forums about what people thought of the demo. Seems most have had a pretty favorable experience with it.

Maybe accessories should take up points in the real world... Then you wouldn't have people looking like they're trying to smuggle all of their possessions onto their own body.

From my memory, I believe Spoony had a little more favorable opinion on the sequel than XIII proper...but he hated that game, so any kind of praise from him would be a pretty big step up. ^^; There's probably a lot of pressure on SE to do well...as it is with any game company, I'm sure. SE is a big one though, and after the fiasco that was XIV, I'm sure they're looking to cater to whatever will sell the most. The western world is a huge market for them.

Yeah, I can agree with that, and I guess they provide more variety than if it was just one other proper character. Plus, you can dress them up in swanky accessories~ Yay...

Dunno how on Earth I helped, but that's a pretty great accomplishment all the same. ^^ I'm sure she's portrayed as being so frail so the "video game caring potential" would be heightened for the player. Chocobo theme changes with what color chocobo you ride? That's pretty neat. Methinks I'll be staying far away from the red ones as well though.

On the subject of dealing with the boss, isn't one way supposedly easier and the other is basically suicide? That's what Spoony insinuated at the E3 demo thing. So, basically, although there looks to be a choice, it really isn't. Maybe it's changed since then though.

As for the combat, maybe you just got so used to it in XIII that now it's a cakewalk for you. Up to you if you wanna cancel out though. I was never too keen on the idea of recruitable monsters... I dunno why that doesn't really sit well with me. Perhaps I just liked the idea of having a proper character to play as when I play a FF game. If I wanted to play Pokemon, I would play Pokemon. I know a lot of people like that sort of thing, but it's really not for me.

I will probably wind up watching the cutscenes and story on youtube. :3 Thanks again for the insight. ^^

Yeah, I've been trying to do more "original" works to fill up my gallery, but fanart is a good time-waster sometimes. The exercises that really wipe me out are pushups and sideplanks, single-arm stands and jackknifes. Basically, anything that makes me use my upper body to support myself.

Ah yeah. I can see how it would get more frustrating when you're on a time limit. Oh Yorda... The graphics may have been updated, but her AI is probably still stuck in the early PS2 days.

I think X-2 had pretty good combat in that you could control what ALL the characters did, but I still feel those two games are pretty similar. Kingdom Hearts is pretty badass to me, but I understand if you don't share the same opinion. I hope KH 3 is going to be released for a console that I own... It would suck to have to get another one, especially since the PS3 has no KH love so far.

Heh... It's like he couldn't decide whether to wear shorts or full trousers, so he just did both: One for each leg. XD Who in the world think that's a good look to have?

Normally, I'd stick to the aerobics and yoga, but I figured the strength training needed some love too. Oh man. Do I get wiped after some of those routines though. ^^;

I thought she was a fairly good companion when I played the PS2 version. Of course, I wasn't really trying to beat it in under 2 hours... Srsly...who set the number that low? :/

X-2 and XIII had a similar combat system to me. Job Changes, Paradigm Shifts, fast-paced action style. Only real difference to me seems to be the "reaction commands" or whatever they're called. Glad to hear people enjoying it though. Noel's new outfit makes him look like he's from Kingdom Hearts. ^^; Yeah, if game companies are going to offer DLC when a game is launched, they may as well just package it in the game at the start... Ah well. Just another way to milk more money out of the consumer.

Ah, I see. I didn't know that was the reason. Still seems kind of odd that they would update on different days, unless it just makes the work load easier. *shrugs*

I have been drawing a little. Nothing really too different from normal, though I am working on a fanart piece that's gonna be a rather big project. I'm not sure if I'm liking it right now or not, so we'll see if I actually finish it. I haven't DL'ed very many demos, other than Flower, which was gorgeous. I believe I got to play the entire first level. Wish I could get the whole game though. I has the soundtrack, and it's lovely to listen to when I wanna relax. Hmm... Last Remnant. Can't say that I have. I think I recall seeing some game footage before. I seem to recall some scene where some kinds are chanting "Dinner~ Dinner~ Dinner~" and doing some dumb dance, and the hero guy joins in... It made for quite an uncomfortable experience just watching it. Can't imagine the poor saps who actually voiced those roles. Well, at least they got paid.

I hope they do come by. Then maybe the mystery of the pesky poltergeist lurking around the house would finally be solved. Of course, it's probably just old man Tatem scaring people away so he can keep all those Spanish doubloons. Oh, that silly, silly man.

Trolls flourish on Youtube because of a lack of moderation. Not that I really would know how to keep a site like that in check, nor if it should be anyway. I rarely comment, and mostly on videos that aren't in the least bit controversial, like ones of cute critters or something. Really? I thought they'd be more popular with folks. Ah well. I thought the ones in IX were cool. I liked how the Mognet thing worked, and Stiltzkin was always fun to see appear. I always bought his random junk, even if I didn't need it. ^^

Dirge had it's moments of enjoyment, but I definitely wouldn't have paid full price like what I did if I had it to do over again. Could have probably found a used copy within the month if I would have just been patient.

Dat moogle. Not only is it ugly, but yeah, it's constant "Kupo-po~!" is rather annoying. It's more like a damn pokemon than a moogle... :/ As for Noel's VA, he sounds like the same guy to me. I guess it just sound different because every scene we've seen him so far has been more dramatic. Bonus~ Noel's English VA is also the voice of Haku in Spirited Away and Max Goof (Goofy's son in Disney canon) ^^ There's probably other things, but those are the most prominent to me.

I dunno how many blocks it was from the house to work, but I'm not usually in the car for more than 10 minutes if the cabbie just drove straight there. Heh, that still doesn't give a good mental picture...does it? ^^;

I think I have exactly two shooter-type games: Bioshock and Dirge of Cerberus. I don't really go out of my way to pick one up unless it really appeals to me.

Yeah, there's a new character named Maria that's been introduced so far, and a new scenario in January where the MC and the team go to a snow resort. I was kind of hoping that PF would get a FeMC story too, but that might be too much like P3P. Well, I could turn off the 3D if that happened, but I get your point.

Oh, I know~ Saw it before I went to sleep last night. Such a cute episode, though now I'm wondering just how Yu spent his summer. These two-parter episodes were probably just made to touch on the social link aspect of the game, but that's one of the things I highly enjoy Nanako was so cute. :3 Her dad disappoints me though. :/

Well, I haven't seen too much out for it yet, but Persona 4: The Golden seems like a must-have if I get one. Dunno if I want a Vita or a 3DS first though... 3DS seems more catered to the kind of games I like, but there's a LOT of potential for the Vita... Decisions, decisions.
