I saw the Labour Party Broadcast today. It was hilarious. There wasn't anything in there about why you should vote Labour, instead the five minutes were dedicated to telling you why you shouldn't vote for David Cameron. I don't agree with many of David Cameron's new policies for the Conservatives, but he's making the party more electable, which is being criticized because deep down Cameron is "true blue". Haha. So what's he going to do if he gets elected into power? Tell the electorate he lied and start implementing Thatcherite policies? Probably not. I believe he would at least try to do some of the things he promises to do in the Tory manifesto in order to maintain credibility and retain a chance of being re-elected.

Besides, there's nothing wrong with being capitalist. I will advocate the free market without hesitation in most circumstances. For instance, workers in sweat shops do not need to be paid more than $2 an hour, for example. Would that be exploitation? Of course. Just like my dad is exploited for his skills when he goes to work. "Oh, $2 is so little, why not pay them more?" It is the very fact that these people are willing to work for such a "low" wage (let's not forget purchasing power parity) that firms will locate there. Without multinational firms these people would have less chance of alleviating future generations from poverty. But I'm sure you all knew this already.
