Ok well I'm now 2 11/2 hours into the day but still, 8am - 8pm is never fun no matter how you look at it. Especially as I'm sitting two tests in that time as well.

With a week and a half until the end of the semester things are starting to wind down as other things tend to accelerate at a pretty alarming pace. Sorry if i'm repeating myself here but before study week starts, I have a 2 hour comp test this afternoon, a math test at 7pm tonight, a 1000 word essay (it's really not that ...

The weather's turned, more or less, and fall is settling in for its relatively short stay before winter's frigid grasp. Which means it's officially the start of baking season. Not that there's ever a bad time for baking, but something about doing it when the temperatures are near 100F is just not appealing.

And for once I'm actually excited about it, because within the past year I've discovered that I enjoy baking. So far I only do bread and cookies but hey, it's bread and cookies. ...

So it's getting colder around here (finally), and I wanted to make more soup this Sunday. It's been nice having it feel like fall (though I'm sure it'll be back in the 80F range by Wednesday) and I've been doing all that I can to celebrate my favorite season.
