Earlier, I managed to outspeed a Blaziken with Groudon. Everytime the turn ends, Blaziken's Speed goes up, and by using Protect every other turn, it can reach the limit if done carefully. So how did I do it? I used Groudon. Rock Polish, Earthquake, and another Rock Polish Using Rock Polish when you predict a Protect will make you feel a sense of accomplishment as your turn was not wasted at all. Oh, and yes. People believe that Politoed is a must for Rain teams in OU. And why not? Instant Rain on the first turn. But Pelipper has something Politoed doesn't: Hurricane. And while it does take a turn to use Rain Dance, I prefer Pelipper over Politoed any day of the week.
