I want to play a game.

I'll have to go check that out. I mostly buy player's guides for the character art and stuff, but as hard as I hear that the game is, I may have to buy it for it's intended purpose.

thats pretty good. as for Tales of Symphonia... I thought it was ok. I'm big on the Phantasia game of the series and I really think Phantasia is the best one out there. But I do admit Symphonia is pretty good for a Gamecube RPG.

hows xenogears going for you? i'm making good progress in Tales of Phantasia. I have 2 dual tech combos and 3-4 regular skills for my main character. I'm currently in the town of Alvanista and i just bought weapons and armor for my party.

sounds like good news to me. i'll have to give it a rent via gamefly whenever i get gamefly which will probably be way after the game is out.

Really? I thought the enemies still attacked, because they would attack me while I was looking for it. Maybe I had it set to "Active" and didn't realize it? Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest.

But 300 people on FFXIII were not 250 artists and 50 programmer or whatever. They were making a complete game from scratch so they have a full staffing off everything. FFVII's remake wouldn't require nearly the amount of staffing in areas. They could get away with less people in other areas and if using a 300 team model, having significantly more artists. You don't need ten designers for a game that's already finished. I just think, being an artist myself, that they over estimating the time required and exaggerating things. They've already completed one HD FF game and Advent Children, the artists have more experience making the models and textures that would be required of a game than when they started FFXIII. Experience ends up shorten time a lot because you're no longer doing trial and error to figure out if it works this way. They have pipelines and systems that will get the job done a lot faster than the work on FFXIII. He's neglecting the experiences that they've learned.

Hmmm... Good question. I suppose the movies are soooo good that the sheer awesomeness of the films' animation get projected into my brains. That doesn't explain anything else though, like how I'm typing this VM to you with little to no spelling errors.

Nope. I just get caught up in some of the other films. I hear good things about Nausicaa though. Yeah, I was really tired when I started on Laputa, and it didn't get the full attention that it deserved, so I'm probably going to start that one over again.

I haven't seen any clips or previews about Earthsea, but I read up a bit on it. I'll check that one out when it hits US shores.

Ponyo wasn't my favorite either, but I still enjoyed it. It was just a nice little take on The Little Mermaid fairytale. I don't think I could really pick a favorite though. I love all the Studio Ghibli movies I've seen in some way or another.

I haven't accounted for my taxes yet... not sure how much I'm getting back. Thuogh, I'll probably just throw it towards my currently reaccuring bills (Elec/Gas/Internet) to get ahead for the move.

I want to move into a new apartment... so the choice comes down to having to pay Deposit / 1st months rent by myself (as my 'roommate' choice seems to be a flake) or getting a system / tv (which I need to get a new one also), I'm up in the air... March I have a good chunk of money coming in that's not accounted for bill wise, so I'm planning on grabbing both a new tv and a ps3
