I still don't understand the story about Jhil either. I would think that the villians would have changed in XIII-2 though. It would make it rather unoriginal if they didn't.

Yes, that is true. And rank varies by state. It's +20 rank in Arizona and Nevada, which is why I take a trip to Phoenix every May 31st. I find that the hardest part every year is the walk from Carmel, California, to Phoenix.

I see. It sounds like a pretty general list of classes. I'm guessing you're trying to fill up your required units?

I'll be taking:
Calculus 2 (or second semester, whatever, it'll be a pain anyways).
Geography (to fill my general ed requirements).
And there is a slight possibility of taking Basic Soccer Concepts or some such class, just for the fun of it since I like the sport.

I have thought about getting a job during the regular semester, but I don't know if I'll be able to handle my future classes, I'm not an A student or any such.

Not that I can think of, nope. Once I've evaluated the potential losses and gains of a given action, I'll either decide to do it or decide it isn't worthwhile, and that's all there really is to it.

Really? So am I. Gotta do a match course and some other required units. I don't work while I'm school, though.

What classes are you taking?

I see morality as a specific idea of which things should and should not be done, I only see what leads to desired results (none of which do I think are any better or worse than any other results, just the ones I'd personally prefer to encourage to occur), and what must be done to achieve them, and in the case of multiple options leading to the same end, whichever I'm most inclined to do. Ultimately, I do pretty much whatever the hell I want, not caring one way or the other whether people would call it good bad or otherwise. In short, **** yeah Chaotic Neutral!

Not nescessarily, not as I define it at least. I define morality as a concept of good, bad, right or wrong. A theory which attributes allignment to people and ideas. I believe in no such allignment. My way of seeing things serves a similar purpose to a moral code, but is much less limitting, and is dictated by logic moreso than what others believe, which is what seems to be the guiding force for any concepts of morality I'm familiar with.

I personally can't remember anything that jumped out at me as being too annoying or faulty in the game. I felt the combat system was different, but a welcomed changed anyways. I would have prefered some more work done with a few characters, especially with Larsa. Finally, I didn't like the summons very much; it's not that they are not the usual lot (those having been coverted to ships), but I wasn't too happy with the way they were used.

Yeah, been a long time since I've played the game. I'm thinking of going back to it some day, unfortunately I have too much on my plate.

The creation of the oath may have been based in morality, but it serves a practical function. As does the concept of morality as a whole. The rest of the world doesn't see things my way, so they may reequires a code of morals to keep from creating chaos, I however do not. The concept of morality, and law enforcing it mainly exists to prevent chaos. Human experiments are bound to opposed, and where there is opposition, chaos will follow.

As to whether human expierimentation itself is alright, I have no global opinion of it one way or the other, my stance would vary by situation. In a case in which the potential gains would be worth the chaos, or the chance of chaos, I'd likely be in support of a human experiment on an unwilling subject, if and only if there were no alternatives less likely to create chaos.

Ah, I forgot I checked that out. I'm very forgetful, so if it ever seems I forget something important, I most likely did.

Anyways, I tend to focus on enjoying my games and often overlook the litte details that others jump out and scream about when they critisize a game. I found FFXII to be throughly enjoyable. I think I'll go back to play it again some time, then perhaps we can argue about all the things the game does wrong (if there were any).

I didnt think that was a point that needed to be pointed out at that time. Im an athiest, very hardcore athiest. Whilst I do not like to preach athiesm as that would make me no better than that which I hate most, I do not like to sit back and let people give false information based on what they've been brought up to belive. because most of the time this is the case. I think I could have made a better point if more people such as yourself were able to back up what I said and add your own knowledge to it, but im afraid its an inapropriate topic and noone wanted to discuss it at the risk of siding with someone like me on a opinion, could make them look bad.

True, true. I also wished we had seen more of Zargabaatch and Dryce. I didn't like Quis very much.

An athiest cannot define the holy bible as a guide since an athiest does not believe in god. If you attempt to understand it as an athiest, you must accept the fact that christians believe it to be the word of god, therefor you do right by the word of god, or you rot in hell. Unkown is unbelievabley arrogant and stubborn. I would very much like her to be stripped of her moderation as all she does is backtalk everyone with her selfish observations and opinions.

God didn't write the Bible. Humans did. What if the Bible itself is a wrong interpretation? After all, the Bible was written over a period of 1400 to 1800 years by more than forty different authors, all with slightly or incredibly different interpretations of "God's Word". There's no straight forward rules in it.

Time has changed dramatically, and because of that, I can only see it as a guide book if you're a follower. As a atheist, I view it as a work of fiction, and/or a book that'll teach you morals - because of the later, I believe it to be a guide.
