Well it is specifically the combat. You know how in Xenogears you can switch in and out of your gear to fight. And if you wanted to really stomp on enemies you could just lower your fist and joyfully one-shot little enemies. But that there were also some enemies you could only take on in a gear. It is the same feeling in WKC. When you transform into the White Knight you can pretty much one-shot all of the weaklings, but there are some enemies that you really want to use the White Knight on because they're have a lot of HP and def and are massive creatures. However, even in human form you can deal with these. This is what WKC does a lot better, you can still fight those behemoth monsters, it'll take a while, but you can do it. Because they have several hit locations you hit their legs enough they'll lose balance and come crashing down allowing you to hit for normal damage on their head or chest or something. But it was mainly the sense of being in a huge mecha walking around and beating things up that made me remember the joy of mecha combat in gears.

Olbermann is a complete joke -- the thing is, jokes like O'Reilly get all the attention and people tend to ignore Olbermann, just because he's a liberal. I try to stay away from shows like Countdown and Crossfire, just because I like my IQ where it is, and when I see crap like that, I can feel my brain oozing away.

This is yet another example of the private industry versus the public. What it boils down to is this: do you want private business to support the candidates they want to support, and to support the issues that they want to support, or would you rather everybody be taxed more and political candidates spend the millions upon millions of dollars spent on every campaign out of the public treasury?

I sure as hell want some choice in the matter.

And you're right, that's another thing that isn't mentioned much -- how much of Obama's campaign contributions come from where. You know, companies like Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan, Citigroup, UBS, Lehman Brothers, Morgan Stanley ... those ring a bell? Yeah, Obama got at least three mil from those companies combined. And those were the companies that got bailed out -- with nearly a trillion dollars in American tax money.

My brother pointed something out on Facebook, as well -- when Obama gets $347,000 from moveon.org, a far left-wing, anti-Capitalism, anti-American organization, they're just showing their support. But when Sarah Palin got a bouquet of flowers from a citizen of the town she was a mayor of, she's corrupt.

Gotta love the media, huh?

I was wondering where you've been hiding! That sucks that you have to use your PSP to get on the internet. I hear that it's kind of a pain in the butt to do, but maybe not. I've never done it, but I do have a PSP.

I'm sorry that your Christmas didn't turn out so good... I think as we get older, it just loses the charms it once held for us.

As for mine, it was pretty good. I got to stay home and relax with my immediate family instead of doing the usual thing of visiting all of our relatives. Yeah, it wouldn't be so bad if we saw them more than once a year, but since we don't, it's a little awkward for me.

Gawd, I wish I slept on New Year's. I stayed home and made sure that a bunch of little kids didn't destroy the house. The kids stayed up really late, doing all kinds of loud and obnoxious stuff. -__- So I ended up sleeping most of the next day...

Did you eat your black eyed peas and hog jowl on New Year's Day? It supposed to bring you luck for the new year!
