Oh, there was a bit of this and that with certain members thinking the moderators were corrupt or something, because they got several threads closed and a favorite member banned. So they were all upset about that. A thread with some of the drama still exists in General Chat, titled "Getting On My Soap Box" by Pete, or something like that. There was also an earlier thread that I forget the name of, and then a more recent thread called "So Why's Everyone So Mad?" that I got involved in and am kind of embarrassed that I did, now. I guess I didn't really say anything bad, but still.

I've got an interview on Thursday Hopefully they like me. Should probably keep on applying places just in case though, although there is such a strong desire in me to just be lazy today until I work tonight...

Generally I don't either, but this time, I was like, "...heh." Yup, Anyhoo...

Heh, I mostly took that long because I didn't really play it regularly sometimes. Sometimes I'd not play for like a week, and mostly I think I just played it a an hour or two a day here or there. Honestly, it wasn't my favorite Final Fantasy... I only did a few of those missions, mostly after beating the game.

TFF is alright, though there was a bit of drama that you missed like a week or two right after I became one again.

Eat Ramen Noodles! They're like the staple of the poor college student Can you cook well? I can't. I know how to boil water... heh. Most of my meals are sandwiches or canned/microwavable goods. Occasionally, a frozen pizza. Or just eat out, heh. Good luck with that job hunt, though; I hear it's bad all over... Hopefully one of these places I hit up responds to me and likes me, and the same for you. May our financial anxieties be put to rest!
And I have plenty of time... heh. If I got a second job, it would likely be part time too, and I'd overall probably still work less than 40 hours per week.

But of course! You're my favorite character in that game Although this playthrough, I gave everyone really stupid names (except Quina, because s/he's weird enough on his/her own.) Amarant got it the worst; he's "Anus."

Yeah, jeez, lady! I was starting to think you were gone for good this time! And it took me like two or more months to beat that game, so don't feel bad

Well, I told them that I had a lot of free time, so they might as well make me a mod again so I could help out. And so they did, heh (it had just so happened that Djinn had been asking for help in the General Gaming forum, too.)

Oooohh, lots has happened since I last talked to you. Didn't end up doing that firefighting thing after all, because I got another custodial job, and I figured I should take the one that's more reliable... and this job has been giving me really crappy hours-like 5 to 13 hours a week, when they said it'd be 15 to 30-so now I'm looking for a second job :/ I also got a kitten. Think there's some pictures of her in my pictures. Her name's Kiara. Need to take her back to the vet sometime this week...

Been drawing and uploading them little comic strips of mine. There's a thread devoted to them in the art forum called "72nd and a 3rd," if you're interested. Dunno if you'll be able to read them though, as per my hand writing tends to suck. Also, started an outline for a new story (as opposed to the one I was writing before) and thinking up new characters and such. Dunno if I'll ever go back to the other one... I also started playing FF9 again. Just got the Forgotten Continent. Freya is my highest level character at like 42, heh.

Can't really remember a lot of other things, though it seems like a lot has happened. How about you? You done with school for the summer now? Anyhoo...

I've read the entire Wheel of Time series that is out.; there are only two books left which are being written by Brandon Sanderson because Robert Jordan died. Jordan did leave plenty of notes of how he wanted the series to end which is good for the fans. If you found the beginning of the series boring than you would have detested books 9 & 10 - the plot moves slower than continental shift.

Whoa! I still have The first three games to go, and FFIX. WHICH I'm currently playing. I got it really really cheap from a friend, and I'm head over heels in love with this game. Since a friend of mine is borrowing my PS1 memory card, I have to play it at Fredrik's PS3 however, so since he's still doing his millitary service and all, I haven't managed to get that far yet.

Yes that blasted volcano delayed my contact lenses for MONTHS, I just got them yesterday. It's good to finally be able to see again. : >

That's also cool, becoming a teacher. Be sure to become one of the coolest teachers in your school! Be the one who people aspire to be like when they become teachers, themselves. The one I remember was Mr. Crow; he was a young teacher with a funny sense of humor. He actually got rather disciplinarian sometimes, however (often to my surprise) so he also had our respect. Or yeah; do whatever you want, as you probably know better what you need to do than I do

Yeah, the forum's gotten this way especially in recent times. I've been guilty of a one-liner at least once in the past few months, myself. I think people are adopting the theory of "long posts generally just repeat the same points over and over, when they could get out what they want in one sentence." Which makes their posts rather blunt and callous sometimes, in my honest opinion, but hey! I've shortened my posts a lot in recent years too. Although my posts are generally probably still longer than most; I think a little extra information can help spark a conversation better. (Then again, I feel like most people seem to skip past or ignore my posts a lot, lately... Which is how I often feel. Then for a little while, people will talk to me a bit, and I'll forget the feeling. Then it starts over, heh. I assure myself it's just that no one has anything to say to me most the time.)

I've seen my "friend" less and less. He was here the other day; came in while I was playing FFXIII towards the end. Talked over a cutscene, and then was trying to tell me how to play the game (even though he's admittedly played like one rpg in his life that he likes.) And then he went out into the living room and said something creepy to the girls ("So I get to watch you girls work out?") so I told him to be more careful about what he says and does, and that it makes them uncomfortable. He said he will, and "thanks for the heads up." We'll see.

Yeah, the Phantom Fox is actually like a dark gray. Eh. I think I only make that description once. He also has glowing red/black eyes underneath is goggles, so maybe that's where you got the red from. Drawing is fun You don't have to be good at it; just do it!

I haven't worked as a firefighter yet, but I've taken the course and passed it, and I've bought the gear for it. However, I had an interview this morning to work for a janitorial service called "The Office Nanny;" something my friend works for. I might not even get the job, but if I do, I'll probably take it, because it's a guaranteed 15-30 hours a week. As disappointed as I'd be in not doing the firefighting thing after spending nearly $300 on it (including a tank of gas to drive out there all week) and having hyped myself up and told everyone I was doing it... But eh.

lol its okay. That game isn't for everyone and I'm not so sure how much longer it will maintain my interest. It kinda ebbs and flows. It sucks that most of the time the people I want to play with are on at times I can't be. Oh well.

How is FFXIII?

Now I haven't played it in forever xD much because my bf was stuck in the northern regions of sweden for a month because of Iceland's eruption. He's coming home this wednesday, but then he's got some stuff to attend to, so I think we'll try to just spend as much time as possible together, so I guess we won't be playing any FFXIII any time soon. : < I am not all that hyped about it anyway, it's really sad, since I've been so excited about it ever since the first news and images from it was leaked.

TFF is boring to me most of the time lol. I do have you, though, and that in itself is super awesome.

I can understand your being upset over that situation. Oh well, I guess you can't change things that other people do or think. Life would be way too easy if you could. ^^

My vacation is nine days. I'm enjoying most of it, although being at home does start to wear on a person after a while. Good thing I have books, writing, and FFXI to keep me company most of the afternoons.

FFXI is definitely fun and worth playing. I love the game, most days. And the add-ons are usually only every few months, except for the very occasional maintenance that becomes necessary. Really not all that bad, IMO.

Thankfully I'm doing much better this week. Vacation from work might have something to do to assist that, though not completely due to that. How is your week so far this week???

FFII is TERRIBLE. Not was, still is. Ewwwww never speak of that game. It does not exist.

I've spent the past few afternoons playing some Final Fantasy XI when I haven't been reading or walking outside. Have you ever considered playing it? I bet you'd have a blast pwning monsters with me. ^^;

Heh, well, anything you could teach me would be appreciated, I'm sure. Particularly if one day, I got lost out in the German countryside. At the very least, you could teach me "Crazy foreigner needs help!" Heh. Also, I think learning a new language and being able to teach it are probably two different things entirely. Are you going to school just to learn it or also to teach it? I'd imagine probably to teach it, seeing as you're devoting so much effort to it, eh?

Well, if it depends on what you mean by the use of "a." I kind of pronounce God with an "ah" in the middle. As in "Say ah!" "Aaaahh..."
And believe you me, I made good grades by writing me som bs. Particularly in my literature and humanities classes, heh. (Visiting TFF all the time probably helped that, too; particularly when I first joined, one liners were seriously frowned upon, and could result in warnings.)

Yeah, I think he's really thick-skulled. Although he's been bothering my other friends more than me lately. Which kinda makes me feel bad, like I passed him off on them or something, but they've told me not to worry. Haven't seen or really heard from him since the Saturday before last, a little while at church. Oh well, heh.

I've drawn them, yeah. I haven't uploaded any of them though, that I recall. I commissioned someone else to draw the Phantom Fox once, though. Here it is if you'd like to look at it. I think she did a really good job, though he's a bit taller and thinner than I normaly draw him. Also, the swords should be under his jacket, though I wasn't specific enough about that in my description. Maybe sometime soon, I'll upload some of my drawings of those characters.

Went to Salem today, found the place where I'll take the wildlands firefighting courses. It's over the weekend, too, and I have to get up early... eh... but it's worth it (damn it XD) Have fun at Uni! Good luck staying awake for those first few days when the prof. is introducing you to the course... Anyhoo...
