Yeah, I understand, my Law teacher told us once how if we want to be lawyers we should move to somewhere in Europe other than the UK because the jobs aren't so scarce and they pay so much better. I always thought in Australia they had to pay way more for everything.

It is the same as England, yes. We do GCSEs in high school and you need 5 including maths and English to qualify for sixth form/college, which is what I'm doing now. Then we do our A levels and whatever grade you get in each subject amounts to UCAS points, the higher the grade the more points you get. Uni courses all demand a certain amount of points, which is usually about 280 I think.

Living with your friends sounds like it would be great fun, even if bad for your studying haha. I think I'll probably end up living on campus wherever I go. I have to apply for five so I've been looking at Liverpool, Manchester Metropolitan, Plymouth, RWCMD, and don't have a fifth yet. Liverpool and RWCMD for Drama courses and Manchester and Plymouth for art. Not sure at all yet, though.

I love Scott Pilgrim, Pulp Fiction and Donnie Darko. They're among my favourites. Do you like films like Pineapple Express, Superbad, Get Him To The Greek, etc?

Hello, Richard, haha. Do you get called Dicky? It's pronounced "Hah-lee" like Halle Berry. Funnily enough Halie Berry would have been my name if my mum and dad had married. And yes, it does irritate me when I get a new teacher that calls me Hayley but it's worse when you have a teacher for a very long time and they still forget how to pronounce it lol.

How come you would need to move to Australia? I think maybe our schooling system is different to yours. I have to get in a uni based on a number of UCAS points and what course I wanna take rather than being accepted into a uni and choosing the courses later. Is that what it's like in New Zealand?

Did you go to a uni far from home or did you stay close? That's one of the things I'm contemplating. I'd rather go somewhere further and preferably out of Wales, most likely in England somewhere but I'm unsure.

Well I don't really know what kind of films you like, you'd have to let me know before I could recommend anything. My favourite films are probably different from yours lol.

Are you wanting to have a career involving history then or are you going to do something else? Yeah that's what scares me the most about uni, I don't know if I'm gonna end up picking the wrong course and then regret my decisions. Scary times.

I watched the film, and enjoyed it. I didn't realise how good an actress Carey Mulligan is. The David guy was creepy though. He was handsome but even at the start he was a bit too... "friendly" and a bit of a drip at times, haha

Hopefully it doesnt effect their relationship. But my whole point in the begining was that while the liberal will strive for the rights of people, you will take away the rights of others in doing so, the right to remove someone from a private establishment (in this case im not so sure if the bar is or not) is totally upto the buisiness owner, for whatever reason they wish. A smart person would not use a reason so controversial such as gender or race and would just say something else.

I agree with you, its disgusting they would remove them for that, most men would find that an attractive thing to see anyway (even though it was probably nothing more than a small kiss which shouldnt have bothered anyone) but in the end, my stance is firmly on the rights of the buisiness and the decisions they make. They can make bad decisions and good decisions. You want there to be a law that says noone can be homophobic, in my mind its almost like a mental ilness, something that cant be controlled or helped, a state of mind however unfair it may be, is what it is.

I just read the article.I'd really like see some footage of what happened. I automatically assumed it was an order from the owner, but no owner is stupid enough to kick out buisiness/money. I try to get on, but when I come home I'm so pooped and all I wanna do is just relax and play Videogames, so I spend most of my time on twitch now.
