In terms of Internet terminology 'to link to' is 'linker' in French. A hyperlink is 'lien'.

It's quite a recent programme so the means in which you acquire will have to be... covert. Such as tv-links.eu. But it's not on there, so if you really wanted to watch it, you'd have to try quite hard to find it.

Yesterday I watched a Quebecan television programme as a form of preperation, this was at midday. Dear God, the French love to use gratituous English. Occasionaly one of the main characters would randomly speak a phrase in English in a perfect American accent, a list of all of his English utterances:

"Take care bro."

"SW Clothing."

"Facebook."

"Lady Gaga"

"No ****ing way."

"You gotta be ****ing kidding me."

"In French, ****er."

"****!"

Everytime he swore in English, there were French subtitles using non swear words. They didn't censor the English. They then showed a lady's bare breasts (nipples et al.), and a small girl wetting herself all over the floor. At midday.

I looked on the official website, it said 'Peut ne pas convenir aux enfants de moins de 10 ans.'

I hate when people complain about the "Friendzone," as well, but I don't think your definition was quite right (although your assertion was spot on.) I believe what they think the friendzone is is when you truly like a girl, and she acts like she likes you back but when it comes down to dating her, she cops out/chooses another guy, and says that you both can still be friends.

I see it as a polite rejection, and treat it as such, rather than complaining about it.

I think I read a few of them, I don't actually recall reading any of the English history ones, except maybe the Victorians one. I may have read 'Bloody Scotland' and 'Slimy Stuarts', but I can't honestly remember.

I remember reading a 'Murderous Maths' book, and then the author visited my primary school. I also own 'Crashing Computers', which is hilariously outdated and talks about Y2K in the future tense.

The television series is one of the greatest things to happen to British comedy in years.
