and that new game No More Heroes GLC talked about sounds quite cool sorry I can only look at screenshots since i CBA to read it all is it free roam do you know because it kinda looks it with that car picture?
I'm not sure what you mean by "I CBA to read it all", well i just don't know what CBA means. infact i dont even know what XD means either.

But yes the game is free roaming

    it is explained here
First, Heroes is a free-roaming game, so you can move wherever you want freely. It's very different from Killer 7, which was very linear. The map represents the west coast of America, namely California, but it's set in a small town. You can ride in a car, or in a bike, or whatever, it's pretty free and open.
And also, it's a mission based game. It says the objective of the game is to take out these 10 hitmen, so there are ten missions of sorts to play through. Sounds like these guys might be developing exclusivey for the Wii as well.

Hm, I have been working on my banner all day, and I am not too upset about how it turned out, where do we "turn it in" at, or what, I kind of forgot to ask earlier. As for that game, I never did like the Cel-Shaded look, which Killer 7 sported to t3h max. I never even gave that game a second look, but I heard it was a good game. Anywho, Anyone else worked on their sigs, or have any clue what to do with this thing, haha.

    P.S. Welcome hellbred
I'm not really sure. Spending all day makes me nervous about mine because i was done the day we started the competition. I got a few more extra things to mess around with before it's completely done and ready for show though.

But yeah i haven't played Killer 7 so idk about the game either. The art style was certainly interesting..there is some cell shading i like and others i dont. The graphics in killer 7 to me were very interesting and unique in comparison with others.

Haha, nah, I hate giving my works a second look because I usually do it all over again. I look at something, then I start fixing something, then it leads to something else, and when I get done, it is some horrible monster that doesn't even look halfway similar to the original way it was supposed to. Usually, I take one go at it, and that is it. The only different case being if I am working someones banner and working with specifications. *shrugs* Oh well.

Ha yeah i definitely know what you mean..i figured i was done but there is just one little thing i want to add to it.

I just wanted to let everyone know about IGN's top 25 videogame franchises of all time. Guess what the number 1 and 2 spot are? Mario at 1, Zelda at 2. Metroid and DK are certainly on there as well though *ALL HAIL NINTENDO!*

LMAO, that was a very interesting read, best of all was the Guy who threw the bowling ball into the roof, make you wonder how far a Wiimote could go. By the looks of it, we are lucky there havn't been any casualties yet, or have there. I think it is evident that the system should warn against getting to excited as well as everything else and tell people that there is no need to try and hit the ball in tennis insanely hard. What about that girl playing boxing, Lmao. I havn't had any problems yet other then nearly getting his in the head by a swing my mate mate with the Wiimote. Another mate swung his hand into a glass cabinet, luckily it was a soft swing that time and nothing broke. Personally I hit the roof of my caravan with the Wiimote bowling, again nothing broke. In the video on that sight where it showed a Wiimote being thrown any idea why the strap that broke looked like a fishing line? Is that what it looked like before nintendo fixed it a bit or something.

I don't see how anyone could smash thier Remote into the T.V. in Zelda because all you need to do to swing Link's sword is twitch you wrist, Although I have to admit there was one bit of the game that was so cool and fun I got really into it and did swing my remote like a sword. It isn't nessessary though and doing it for the whole game would be exhausting.

Does anyone know what the what multiplayer game are going to be good? Other then Wii Sport and Play.

I thinking of getting the Tony Hawk game, because I've always found them enjoyable and It should be so must more with the Wiimote.

When they come out with the new SSB game, that will be kickass to play, I love Melee. I also heard good things about Excitetruck (or whatever) Right now though, it is going to be the first games for the console, wait a few months, people will begin to start pushing the boundaries for the Wii, and the games should improve drastically.

, where is everyone, Maxpower espeically you. It's the Wii launch this thread should be through the roof with activity, oh but I suppose that could be a reason it's not too, lol.

anyway I almost the only one posting so I don't have much new to talk about. I have completed my review for Zelda: Twilight Princess, please read it and ask questions, *cough*morepostsforme*cough*. I've just about clocked it which is a shame because I won't afford a new game until the end of december.

I still havn't destroyed my TV with my Wiimote yet, could be a matter of time. Oh and from playing boxing and tennis the muscles in my arms and hips are sore, yay for excercise while gaming.

I know the new super monkey balls game and rayman rabbids are both multiplayer and both are supposed to be great. Marvel Ultimate Alliance is up to 4 player as well, if you are into those action RPGs. The wii version has been getting bad reviews though. If you are into looking into VC games, bomberman 93 would be the shiznat for multiplayer, i always used to love those games.

If you are looking for more of the tony hawk franchise though, downhill jam is not going to be your thing. This isn't a typical tony hawk game, it's basically like a downhill snowboarding racing game like SSX or something. Though i'm sure that kind of game might be fun with the Wii mote.

But yeah Super Smash is on the horizon and we all know that will be great.

Speaking of VC games, if you could get ONE VC game out of the ones released now, what would it be?

For me It'd be either Bonk's Adventure, Bomberman, or Super Star Solider. Hands down, Toejam and Earl when it comes out though. That's a great multiplayer game right there.

Ah, I don't know, there are quite a few VC games I would want just because of all the old skool goodness there, I mean, Genesis and SNES, it is like picking between two of my favorite foods and saying I can have both of them and I get to play the turbografix games (sp?) which is the only system out of all the ones they named I haven't played yet. I think Nintendo made a smart move incorporating all their previous consoles into this, plus some that they didn't have a hand in making. Now, what would be cool to add to the linup of consoles would be the Sega Saturn, with Nights and quite a few other really good games, that would be a really cool virtual console addition. Anyone else think that there are some other consoles that would have been cool to add to the VC collection?

Yeah i don't know..Sega is onboard for the VC so you never know, we could see saturn or even dreamcast games in the future, nothing has been announced though. They have nintendo 64, so I don't see why they wouldn't release saturn games. We could get Shining Force 3, Panzer Dragoon Saga, Nights, Burning Rangers, and everythin else.

I could have my entire old skool Final Fantasy collection on the one console, sweet.

Other games I would love to see again are Phantasy Star for the Sega Master System, All the Zelda games ever released, All the sonic games ever release, All the mario paries every released (I mean, geez I think there are less sonic games), The Secret of Mana series (what multiplayer fun that will be!), Every pokemon game ever released and of course heaps of Gamecube games, since I never actually got to own that console and havn't played any of the games on it except SSBM. Mostly I'll look forward to trying out Windwaker and Paper Mario, since the N64 one was so great.

But most of all seeing as this was probably the best multiplayer game in history in my insignificant opinion, PERFECT DARK

anyone agree with me that the 360 Perfect Dark, sucked donkies balls?

Yeah, that was kind of my point, I figure if they released the 64 on VC, why not Saturn, I realize it hasn't been announced, but it is a possibility, you know... And I would like to get a chance to play some of the myriad of games I missed for the Saturn myself, it would definitely be a welcome thing if it happens. Dreamcast would be also nice, but I am not sure how that would work, but I hardly played it, do, I don't know, we'll just have to wait and see. It is kind of funny though, how Sega, one of Nintendo's biggest competitors back in the day, is now developing games and re-releasing games for Nintendo's consoles, and the others but they didn't exist around the same time period that Sega and Nintendo were titans, so, I really don't count them.

I doubt they'll put Gamecube on the VC because its got backward compatability but Gamecube games are gunna be dead cheap so it'll be great getting games for a Gamecube soon

Well the truth of the matter is Goldeneye was the best FPS of all time, until Perfect Dark came out which was actually from the same company (Rareware) and they put some of the stages from Goldeneye into this new game. So Perfect Dark is the Perfect FPS, because the same company took all the things they did right in Golden Eye and improved on them massively.

The only reason I think that, Goldeneye is more popular then Perfect Dark was because it got more advertising due to being the official approved game to a very popular movie and because it was one of the launch titles for the N64. Also I read the official Nintendo magazine and you know what rating they gave Perfect Dark (110%), I mean this was an official review, you never see them that sort of thing very often, the rough quote of why they gave it 110%was "It was already Perfect and then they just kept on adding more stuff". Which I totally agree with, I just get annoyed with people who still say the Golden Eye is the best FPS, but it's not it's PERFECT DARK

oh and Perfect Dark on the Xbox360, is nearly the worst game in existance, don't you dare touch it with a 10 ft pole, they really messed up the sequel that bad!

Isn't Perfect dark a gameboy game? My friend has played it, and beaten it. Unless they are continuing the series on better systems. Anyway, I havent' done much on Perfect Dark, but that's what I got on that subject.

Perfect Dark was released on both GB and N64 but it did much more successful on the N64 and has quite a legendary status in some place (thats what I know about the game and thats it)

Oh, Perfect Dark is a N64 game, and yes I beleive there was a Gameboy game for it as well, I don't beleive I ever played it though.

Well I have to discovered a new life mission I must write a review about he greatest FPS in existance and spread knowledge to the world, of the awsomeness of this game and also to send Golden Eye loving heathen to death camps.

@Geodanuk, we should take over the Nintendo Worshipper Club and overthrow the current leadership. We will bring a new age of awsomeness and shun all those who are not awsome and of cause Perfect Dark will become the Cartridge you must all have a copy of and kiss and pray to each night before you go to bed, and you must have a picture of Shigeru Miyamoto in every room of your house surrounded by candles and shiny things. Now this club is becoming serious, under the new leadership and Co-Leadership of SeTzertrANcer and Geordude. Muahahahaha!

Okay I've had my moment i'm over it now, what were we saying?

Goldeneye was awesomeness x 1000 I remember playing that with all four controllers in and 4 people playing. The game was fun. Probably the best N64 fps out there. I never beat the pyramid level. I didn't know how to get the golden gun. Like I said. awesomeness x 1000

Well Perfect Dark and Goldeneye are both awesome, i still have my nintendo 64 copies and my nintendo 64 works with all its controllers so i wouldnt have that much of a need for it on Wii, though i'm sure it might be cool. I'm so used to the nintendo 6 controller though.

But definitely Perfect Dark is goldeneye on steroids. It has so much more customizing in multiplayer in terms of weapons, levels, options, characters, missions, etc. Not to mention all the different bots they had. Plus..man guns like the far-sight (shot through walls), the laptop gun (which you could throw and displace on the ground and it'd act like a turret and shot any enemies within range), the slayer (remote controlled rockets), and of course the classic remote mines, you couldn't go wrong. My friend and i used to have team matches against dark sims which were the hardest possible, the AI was crazy good in that game too. Almost cheaply so. Then there was Kamikaze Sim, Meat Sim, Judge Sim, Prey Sim, just to name a few, all of them acted so differently it was insane.

Not to mention all the funny characters you could make in multi..and even co-operative mode was a hell of a lot of fun. The xbox sequel tho? definitely two thumbs way down.

Yes, so then Perfect Dark is awsomeness X 10000, you better agree with me or a death camp is waiting for you, Muahahaha!! j/k (Don't sue me)

Golden Eye was definately a great game no doubt about it, but Perfect Dark literately improved on everything that was good about Golden Eye. For example on Golden Eye you could choose only gun sets, Automatic, Pistols, Semi-Automatic etc. On PD you could do this and choose your own guns as well as exactly where they apear on the stage and save 2 custom sets to be used as much as you want. On GE you couldn't jump of platforms on PD you could, On PD there where 3 times as many guns. Pyramid, Facility, and Complex, the best 3 stages of Goldeneye are also recreated on PD. There are on PD bots with 12 different AI options, you could make them go after weak players or make them Vengebot who get revenge on whoever killed them. PD has 50 preset challenges which where Multiplayer battles with bots that got progressively harder and these could be played 1 player too. Even the single player was 10 times better. It had a better Original storyline and you could play the mission cooperative with a freind, just like in GE there where cheats to unlock in the same way.

I could probably go'on forever but I'll leave it for if someone ever dares to doubt PD again.

Edit: @GLC, we actually banned the Farsight in our games, man that gun was insane!

I haven't played the N64 version of Perfect dark, and *squints* (don't hurt me) probably never will. My N64 is somewhere in my closet, along with whatever cords it goes with, and my controllers are probably in hell by now. So that's why I probably never will play that game. Sounds like waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than GE. I'll take your word for it.

Found thi very intresting article which is almost guarnteeing us the games we said earlier because at the bottom it says Nintendo plan on updating every monday

Joining the ranks of Donkey Kong, The Legend of Zelda, and Sonic the Hedgehog are one title from the Nintendo Entertainment System, a pair from the Sega Genesis, and one from the TurboGrafx-16.

Gamers who like their hockey 8-bit can now download Ice Hockey for 500 Wii points ($5). Originally released in 1988 for the NES, Ice Hockey features six national teams and three different weight classes of players, allowing coaches to go with a nimble lineup or a team of crushing bruisers.

Gunstar Heroes, which first appeared on the Sega Genesis in 1993, brings side-scrolling run-and-gun action to the Wii. Playing as one of the famed Gunstar twins, gamers will take on Colonel Red and a host of his minions in an attempt to foil his plans of destruction. Gunstar Heroes will set gamers back 800 Wii points ($8).

The curiously named Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, also originally a Genesis title, is a puzzle game featuring characters from the Sonic the Hedgehog universe. Like the popular puzzle game Puyo Puyo, this game tasks gamers with matching four blocks of the same color and causing mayhem for opponents. Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine costs 800 Wii points ($8).

Late last week, Hudson Entertainment dropped a few hints that a TurboGrafx-16 game would be making an appearance on the Virtual Console today. Based on clues, many suspected it would be Alien Crush...and they were right. Alien Crush was originally released in 1989 and sells for 600 Wii points ($6).

All four games can be purchased from the WIi Shop Channel. Nintendo plans to add new Virtual Console games each Monday.

I'm a major emulator whore, so I'll probably get at lot of these, as soon as I stop bludging and get a real job of course. Overall it still sound a bit steep I mean $8 for a Sega Genesis game I think you should only have to pay $2, but then I'm someone who normally pays nothing, lol. Remember, Stealing is bad, M'kay

I will gladly pay $5/$8/whatever for the classics, when I finally get my hands on a Wii. However, it depends upon the classics they are selling. I don't know if any of those games mentioned in that article greatly interest me, although I remember Ice Hockey was a relatively fun game. We owned it for a short time, I think.

What I really want to see are a bunch of the old RPG's for the SNES, Sega Genesis and TurboGrafx16howeveritsspelt. I remember there was an article in Electronic Gaming Monthly about what games they'd like to see make a return through th Virtual Console, and they listed some Zelda impersonator for the TurboGrafx16 that looked pretty cool. I also want to play Crystalis again. Even though I own it for my NES. Anyhoo...
