By wireless Internet I just mean you're existing Internet connection being transmitted wirlessly around your house (802.11g is preferred). You don't have to subscribe to a wireless internet provider (which wouldn't work anyways!) =)

So basically you have 1 of 2 options:

    1. Purchase a wireless router like a Linksys. You plug your cable line into your cable modem like usual, then take the network cable from the cable modem into the wireless router, then you'd come out of the router with network cable into the back of your computer. Install any software, and you're done! You're now using your existing Internet, and always transmitting it wirelessly. Make sure you use some kind of encryption when asked to in the software installation, because your neighbors can access your Internet for free if you don't. You'd be paying roughly $100.00+ for a decent router + network cable in this case.

    2. The second (and easiest) option is the Nintendo USB Wireless connector. I'm sure Nintendo had younger kids in mind when it came to this product. Basically... if you have broadband Internet, you simply stick this USB device into any available USB slot (it looks like a USB keychain harddrive... very small). Once you install (if there is anything to install) it simply transmit your signal like the router would. This again is easier, but I'm not sure how quality the USB device is, or if it lags in the speed department. It shouldn't, but who knows! The Nintendo wireless USB device is only $39.99 - I'd recommend at least getting this if you plan on playing FFIII. Without Mognet, you really have little to no access to sidequests, and the best items/weapons.

Sweet, thank you for the info!

I guess in Nintendo related news, there are rumors (see cain's/hellbred's rumors thread), that Kingdom Hearts might be coming to the Wii! It seems as if Square and Nintendo are becoming buddy/buddy again after a long and sour relationship! I mean Final Fantasy:CC is one, but apparently they might have a new Mana game in the works, also there is Dragon Quest IX on the DS, and now Kingdom Hearts on the Wii! Suck on it sony! Apparently Disney requested it be made on the Wii (which makes sense)

Sounds like my reasons for getting a PS3 are being fewer and fewer. Wii FTW!

Yeah Nintendo Power has started posting a lot lately how due to the success of the DS in Japan and North America (the best selling console every month for the past year) that Sqaure-Enix absolutely love the DS, which is the reason for the many FF, DQ, and SE titles being released on the system. Not just the current onslought but the future titles to be released as well.

All three major next-gen consoles, plus the portables have their perks for the game developers (even PSP, even though the SE titles being released to get excited about are minimal at this point [FFT Remake, and FFVII:Crisis Core]). However I think Square-Enix is realizing the potential (or did long ago) that the masses really want some diversity across the Playstation, Wii, and the DS. I haven't heard of many 360 releases, and since I do not own one I'm not that upset about it.

Thankee hellbred, for that explanation of the DS lite and its internet connection. If I ever get a DS, I will totally come back and reference this thread, and this page in particular.

Also... hells yeah! Disney specifically requesting that Kingdom Hearts be made on the Wii? That's awesome news. Though I still need a Wii... (Yes. I NEED one.) Anyhoo...

KH on the Wii? that's gonna be similar to Twilight Princess, no? you swing it around like the keyblade, and probably use the d-pad on it to select your action (like magic) and you use the numchuk to move around with the analog. My friend has the wii, and TP.( I am NOT jealous!) so I really want to play that. KH seems like an awesome idea for Wii, although I think the gameplay is gonna be similar to TP (which by what I've heard is an awesome game anyways) although I thought KH had more ties with Sony than Nintendo, besides COM. meh, I'm not complaining!

1.) Do i go for the DS or DS Lite?
2.) What are some of the must play games? (right now I am looking at FF 3, Castlevania games, Megaman ZX, Animal Crossing, the oldschool mario games, Yoshi's Island, Magical Starsign, and of course any good GBA games)
3.) It's online, correct? (or you can play with friends?)
4.) Any pros and cons of the system that people have encountered?
1.)Lite, because a lot of things that weren't in the original DS were put into this one, and it is a lot smaller, like around 3/4 of the size XD.

2.)I would definitely have to recommend some of the puzzle games that keep getting rave reviews, they are actually pretty cool. In all actuality, a lot of the DS/GBA games are really good (if I might make a suggestion, get the two Fire Emblem games for the GBA (there is another for GBA, but it was Jap only -_-))

    3.) already been answered

4.)Cons: mainly, the fact that a lot of ideas aren't being exploited by developers, one comes to mind: no SRPGs that I have seen. Other than that, not many things on the downside, unless you are looking for something to do everything, in which case, there is ways to play movies on the DS, and music etc .

Ah the Fire Emblem games! How could I forget those? I'm DEFINITELY going to have to look into those seeing as the I've only been able to play one (fan translated V on the SNES), and I've always been a fan of strategy rpgs. I like puzzle games too, so I'm gonna have to look into those, if they have a decent bust-a-move game on the DS I'd love to get that.

Something Nintendo related that I've been thinking about is how they are letting outside developers work on their franchises. One big point I'm trying to make is Star Fox. I've been a big fan of Star Fox for years, but since it's debut on the Gamecube with Star Fox Adventures (developed by Rare), Star Fox has been introduced to new types of games and interesting new gameplay. Since then though, Namco has developed StarFox Assault (Gamecube), and Q-Games developed Star Fox Command (DS).

Each new game is something new, Star Fox Adventures obviously in light of Rare's platforming/ adventure experience, is more of an adventure game. Assault offers more intense combat offering combat from both the air and the ground, though many complain about it's controls and its repetitive nature. Command offers more strategic combat via the touchscreen as you draw routes and take over enemy bases.

Even though all have gotten decent reviews, all across the board it seems like they lack the magic not seen since Star Fox 64 when miyamoto worked on the game. (an exception may be Star Fox Adventures which seemed to be extremely well received) Others just complain that they don't like all this out of ship combat, and want Fox and Co. to stay in the air where they belong. I haven't played any of the new games, but what are people's opinions? Should Nintendo take back control of the franchise? Should they keep him in the ship? Or do you love the new games?

On a side note, does anyone know where to find a future launch list for the Virtual Console? I've scowered the Internet looking for it, but it only seems sites know about released within the next couple of weeks (IGN, Gamestop, NintendoForums, etc.)

I guess Nintendo is keeping a tight rope on the release dates. I was hoping to see what SNES titles they plan to launch.

Don't know if you noticed that you double posted.

Anywayz, I really have no idea, I wish I did. I think that list you are assembling is a great idea, because it seems like it's hard to find a concrete list of VC games anywhere. But future ones? Hmmm..I feel like there should be one definitely. I too am curious to what SNES titles they are planning on launching. I have heard that Square is on board, so does that mean all their snes rpg classics will be released on the Wii at some point?

I feel like the nintendo website should have something.

I have yet to play Star Fox Command, so I don't have much of an opinion on that game (although I her disliked most the designs of the characters for that game.) I have played every other Star Fox game, and I actually like the ground missions from Assault, and the adventure aspect in Adventures. I can understand that people fell in love with the Star Fox franchise because of the piloting, though. However, I fell in love with the Star Fox franchise with Adventures, so I don't have the Old School perspective as far as that goes. I do think the series might be better off with Nintendo back at the helm, however. Anyhoo...

Virtual Console (Nintendo Wii official site)

That is really the only thing I could find :/ Anyways, I do think that they will be releasing a lot more SNES games, in the future, but the current list doesn't really interest me that much, except a few (like Golden Axe, Sonic(never get enough of that game), and Dungeon Explorer) But, that is indeed a small list, you would kind of expect Super Mario World, or Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past to be on there... I honestly hope they won't screw this up.

And as for the new Starfox games, I haven't played any of the new ones :/ I definately loved the SNES and N64 versions though, the SNES one was a pretty big deal at the time too, one of the first games on a home console in actual 3D polygons (right next to Vortex, one of the worse games I have to say, that I have ever played). And Starfox has always kept a special place in my list of favorite games ever, between dogfighting my friends on the 64, to actually going through and beating the game.

    P.S. I edited that post before, I guess it just didn't go through, it wasn't done, and still isn't -_-;;;

Hm, anyone wanna help me out here.

Last year, I bought a Gamecube, even though I knew it was near the end of it's life-cycle. And, hoping there would be a handful of games to play, I was quite anxious. But, now, I am a tad disappointed, as the only games I have are both the Metroid Prime games, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, and Resident Evil 4. I plan on getting a Wii in the future (like a while still, depends on when I manage to land a job) so, Twilight Princess is off-limits, and I plan on getting the rest of the RE games for GC, and Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes, but, can anyone point me at some other games that might be good that I am overlooking? Because, honestly, I was hoping there was more meat on the Gamecubes' bones, and maybe I am just looking at it from the wrong angle?

Well, there was Wind Waker, which you didn't like because of the style of the graphics or something, right? You should give that game a chance. I promise you will not be disappointed. If I am wrong, however... *shrug* watcha gonna do?

I also recommend Star Fox Adventures, though it's pretty short. It's also pretty cheap; you can probably find it for like $8 used somewhere. It'll hold you for a weekend. You might even play it again. Star Fox Assault is also pretty fun if you look at it from the right perspective, I guess; lots of action.

Also, if you don't mind wasting your life, you could play Animal Crossing. It will keep you interested for about a couple months or so... if you're like me, that is. Heh.

Finally, definitely check out Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. Definitely the best RPG experience you'll find for the Game Cube. I was obsessed with that game when I played it.

Hmmm..Well i personally don't own a gamecube but a good friend of mine does and have gotten to play atleast a handful of his games. Both Prince of Persia games are for the Gamecube if you like those, I'm an uber hardcore Harvest Moon fan, and Harvest Moon: Magical Melody is supposed to be the one of the best ones yet (though I've only played Wonderful Life, Melody is newer and supposedly much better). I'm not personally into the GTA style games, but my friend loves True Crime: Streets of LA. Freedom Fighters might also be a good choice, Hitman 2, Beyond Good and Evil. I know if I had a gamecube, Tales of Symphonia would probably be one of the first games I would purchase.

I'd say a must buy for me personally would be Ikaruga, an old school top down shooter a la Gradius. It was originally a Dreamcast game though never released here, i downloaded and burned the game. I will say though, this game gets TOUGH. It is from Treasure though, so you can't go wrong.

    Skies of Arcadia Legends
was also originally a dreamcast game. A freaking fantastic rpg (and made by the original phantasy star team), the gamecube version features many updates over the dreamcast version I have played.

I could go on for awhile, there really are a lot of great games for the gamecube if you need any more suggestions. Guess it just depends what kind of games you are into.

@Geomancer, yeah that'd be awesome if Super Mario RPG was released (I assume you are referring to the DS), it's definitely one of my all time favorite rpgs. I'm hoping that it gets released on the Wii's VC as well sometime soon! Speaking of the VC, Super Castlevania IV, R-Type, Gradius, and Super Mario 64 were all recently released on the VC! Great news for all, Castlevania IV is definitely one of my all time favorite Castlevanias, if not my favorite. And who can go wrong with old school 2D shooter classics like R-Type and Gradius? They are really, unfortunately a dying breed. (besides titles like Ikaruga). I've heard of Wii Play though, it's supposed to be good, it was originally release in AU for the Wii's launch. Kind of a mini game collection of sorts along the lines of Wii Sports. AND Wario Ware is out too for the Wii, i always had fun with those games.

Overall, the gamecube definitely has a lot of great games. I feel like when I (finally) get my Wii sometime, most of my games I'll be looking to get will be either VC games or Gamecube games. I just wonder how long will Gamecube games be around and easy to find. Because it really does have a great library I'd say, not as big as the PS2 probably, but good none the less.

Anywayz, I agree with a lot of what was said about Starfox. I'd say Starfox 64 was my favorite, I too loved the variety of missions and the many vehicles used including the tank and the submarine. One thing that i STILL have yet to unlock is the out of ship combat in multiplayer. In order to do so you need medals in every stage and there is literally ONE more medal I have yet to get, I can't think what level though. . It's been a real long time since I've played that game for sure. Plus the boss battles were always a lot of fun, though looking back now, maybe it's because I've played it so damn much but the game seems way too easy. I'm sure I'll give the new games a try at some point, though I definitely enjoy Fox's flight based roots.

There is something I'd like to point out about Mario, specifically. I had brought up in another thread that while I was watching a G4TV review of a Frogger game, they stated that "Mario simply faded away." Then someone else said that Pokemon (which is what we were talking about) would "turn out like Mario, with the initial hype gone, and only a few loyal fans turning up to buy the new games in hopes of catching some former glory."

I was telling my friend about this last night. He informed me that just not long ago, when the New Super Mario Brothers game came out for the DS last year, it was the best selling game for a solid month. Upon looking things up...
Quote Originally Posted by Quoted from Wikipedia

[13]
That doesn't sound to me like Mario has "simply faded away," nor that he just "has a few loyal fans who come out to buy his game in hopes of a taste of his former glory." Not only that, he is the mascot of Nintendo, which has the best selling gaming console right now. I don't think he's going anywhere, any time soon. Anyhoo...

Yeah, I have to say there are a lot of Mario haters in this world, and I'm glad that new titles are still doing so well and making some people think otherwise on bashing our favorite italian plumber! I think Mario will be popular as long as Nintendo is around, when IGN rated Mario as the #1 franchise of all time, It stated that in 15 or more years, It will probably be the same way. I have to say that I probably agree with them on that

Mario ain't going nowhere, he ain't going nowhere, he can't be stopped now, cuz its MARIO for life!

As for Pokemon? I don't know, I see pokemon fading out at some point. Hell, I think it's faded a lot since it's original debut though it still is quite the craze. I just think that after awhile they are going to run out of a new ideas for the franchise and things may get a bit stale. You can only add new monsters and subtle features for so long before the games get boring. Maybe if they start doing more spin-offs and new types of games involving Pokemon, then it will continue to live on. Eh, now that I think about, I guess they have already done that though (with the pinball, puzzle, virtual pet, and stadium battle style games). Does anyone remember Pokemon Snap for the Nintendo 64 though? I actually really enjoyed that game at the time.

Speaking of second party developers working on Nintendo games, is anyone else as sad as me about Rare ending it's relationship with Nintendo? Until recent times, Rare handled all the oldschool classic DK games, from Donkey Kong Country 1-3, Donkey Kong Land 1-3, Diddy Kong Racing, and Donkey Kong 64 (not including all the other great games and franchises they created for Nintendo consoles including Killer Instinct, Conker, Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Jet Force Gemini, Blast Corps, Banjo-Kazooie/Tooie, etc). Considered to be one of the greatest development houses ever, many of their franchises have now seen light on the xbox/xbox 360 due to the fact they part of Microsoft Game Studios. I kind of hate how Microsoft has gotten it's way into the gaming industry by literally BUYING some of the best talent around.

I feel like we haven't seen a TRUE (or should i say platforming) DK game in years though, not including the random bongo blasts, beat games, king of swing, and vs. games he has been a part of (most of which are developed by companies other than nintendo). I really love music games though, and I really hope once I get my Wii, I'll be able to find Donkey Kong Jungle Beat (for the gamecube) and play the hell out of those drums!

Pokemon Snap was a great game and I enjoyed it a lot at time, playing it until late at night and then being tired before school. It's funny really cause I don't remember what was so good about it. I think it was partly feeding the huge pokemon obsession I had when I was in grade 7.

Funny story about me finding out about out about rare going to xbox. here it goes.

Me: Let's listen to what's going on the news is on. (shares head phone with freind)
    Freind: Ok
Radio: America has declared war on Iraq!
    Me: what stupid idiots
Radio: Rareware is now developing games for xbox, only.
Me: WHAT THE F***, STUPID ARSEHOLES I WANT TO KILL THEM!
    Freind: calm down man.
Me: Who the hell do those traitors think they are f***ing are?
Me: Great now Gamecube is going down the drain, that news ruined my day let's turn it off.

Ha ha!, and that is the story of what I thought about the rareware incident. Rareware is practically dead now because of that, they've made no good games except for a remake of CBFD. Where if they stayed with nintendo would have dominated it again with great games and made a lot more money. PD0 was such a failure too.
Quotes from South Park. Jimbo: "If we don't kill animals, they'll die!" from The Mexican Staring Frog of Sri Lanka. Mephisto: "The Father of Eric Cartman is, Mrs. Cartman" from Cartman's mum is still a dirty slut. Scientist Guy: "Global Warming will happen two days before, the day after tomorrow" from Two Days before the day after tomorrow. Kyle: “Kenny just died 8 hours ago from that monster, how could he have died back then too” Cartman: “Oh yeah I guess that doesn’t make sense” from City on the edge of Forever. Cartman: "Attention shoppers! Outside today, we have a cripple fight. Cripple fight, outside!" from Cripple Fight. Goth Kid: "To be a non-conformist, you have to dress in black, and listen to the same music we do" from Raisins. Priest: "Maybe if more of us attended church on sundays the lord wouldn't have felt it necessary to punish us by takething this little boy" Mr. Garrison: "Oh here comes the guilt trip again" from Spontaneous Combustion. Doctor: "That kid's got as much hope as Steve Irwin in a tank full of stingrays" from Stanley's cup.

rare can sucka my peeeni. dinosaur planet*COUGH* i mean.. star fox adventures was a piece of crap. perfect dark zero was released in basically beta form, and subsequently every game they've released for the xbow3shitty has been a joke. except maybe viva pinata - i've been extremely wanting to play it and EGM fell in love with it. i don't know, i just trust those guys.

regardless - it is a damn shame that diddy kong racing, banjo kazooie, and goldeneye will never see the light of day on the wii. anyone who played banjo kazooie will be quick to point out that it is one of the greatest platformers of all time, seconded only to super mario 64. gruntilda might have been a little whack with her rhymes, but there's just something about having to collect 100 music notes in the clanker level that's just endlessly classic.

i guess nintendo still owns some of the rights to the original goldeneye - so maybe, JUST MAYBE we'll be seeing it on the virtual console someday :'(. in the mean time, keep your N64 expansion pack fired up and keep playing the hits!

@Setzer, Ha, hilarious story about rare! Yeah I think most of the reason I liked Pokemon Snap was because of my pokemon love at the time. When you think about it though, they made a game where all you do is take pictures. A lot of games have picture taking as part of the game, or a mini game. I don't think it's enough to base a game around. I could never bring myself to play those Pikachu virtual pet games though.

@Postal,Yeah, ha wow I remember being so pumped about Dinosaur Planet when it was originally slated to be a nintendo 64 game! Then it got switched over to a star fox game and was released for the gamecube. I haven't played it though so I can't really comment on it. It definitely went through A LOT of changes since its original conception, and it was delayed like woah.

That was a pretty low blow from Microsoft though definitely, especially considering how long their relationship lasted. Without Rare's support on the Nintendo 64, just think about the lack of good games it would have had. Rare (of course along with nintendo's games) MADE the nintendo 64 due to the lack of third party support. All their games on the console were classic, I agree about Banjo-Kazooie and it's sequel PostalBlowfish. Platforming masterpieces. Aren't they making a new entry on the xbox 360?

Since they have been part of microsoft, their games really haven't been the same to me. That viva pinata game is supposed to be good though as you pointed out. I LOVED diddy kong racing too, even more so than Mario Kart 64, which most of my friend's didn't agree with. Just the variety of vehicles, awesome variety of levels, great level design, and the different modes of gameplay. I've gotten everything there is to get in that game, characters, levels, beaten it in both modes, normal and that reverse or flipped mode or whatever it's called. I was looking forward to Donkey Kong racing on the gamecube before it got cancelled. I don't remember why It did though, maybe that was when Microsoft acquired Rare.

What do people think of Donkey Kong 64 though? That game was really a far cry from the Donkey Kong Country 2D platforming days. Definitely followed a Banjo-Kazzoie style formula. That was game was freaking massive, I don't own it though, nor have I played it much. I don't know why, I just never got into it as much.

But yeah, the few earlier Rare games on the 64 were published by Nintendo, but games like Perfect Dark I think were self-published by Rare. I've heard that there are going to be a lot of complications with bringing titles like Goldeneye to the Wii. Let's hope it happens though. If not, I still got my nintendo 64 to play for sure.

Me either, I never really did get into that game that much, but then again, I wasn't much of a 3D platformer, I felt a lot of those franchises lost their fun in the jump from flat to "what the hell is that polygon supposed to be?!" I would so pick up Super Mario World or Super Mario Bros. 3 over Super Mario 64 in all honesty, much like how I would pick up and play any of the Donkey Kong Country games over Donkey Kong 64.

Franchises like Zelda, and the Final Fantasy series (backstabbing Square), were different, but not bad, in their jump to 3D. They were a different playstyle, but the concept didn't change. You either had fun puzzle solving, or having battles, the only real difference was the exploration, and even that wasn't so different that it tore people from their roots. Now, granted, if you have read ANY of my other posts, you know I am a 2Der to the core, but, I do have to say, not all things were bad in their jump to 3D, just not better (maybe even a little worse, even if I did like it).

And I do have to agree also with Dyluck, I loved the Donkey Kong Racing more than the Mario Kart predecessor .

And thanks to anyone who responded to my post earlier, been busy to respond to the, well, responses, but, thanks, and I did read them (I swear).

Seems like I'm kind of the opposite to you DarkDragoon, I love my 3D platformers, and frankly hate the 2D ones. I actually despise the Mario bros games because I find them boring and there appears to be very little point to the game. Mario 64 however allowed you to explore and try and solve the puzzles involve in getting all the stars and so on. I also enjoyed this in the Banjo games and especially the DK64 game. DK64 is in my opinion the best 3D platformer of all even so then Banjo-Tooie. So although I'm an old skool gamer my system of choice tends to be the N64 and I only tend to play rpgs on the older and newer systems. Action games I tend to find quite uninteresting.

I really enjoy either when it comes to platforming. I see what you mean in that the 2D ones were simple in design, but to me they were still a lot of fun! A lot of them did have a lot of secrets and unlockable things (especially Super Mario World on the SNES), but a lot of old school platforming games were more about their difficulty (thinking games like Contra, Ninja Gaiden, and Castlevania) and less about their interactivy and things to do, and loads of jumping puzzles and stuff, plus no having to worry about crappy camera angles. Some 3D platformers seemed too massive to me, I liked Banjo and Kazooie, but DK 64 seemed even bigger with so much going on, I guess I can see why you think the game is better in that respect though. I'll have to give it another try sometime I guess.

In nintendo news, I saw THIS today at IGN. Let's hope that wise Miyamoto san reveals some awesome Wii news and possibly some new games!

Hey everyone sorry I have not been around for a while. I finished school and am spending most of my time trying to finish a thesis and get a job. It sucks but what do you do. Anyhow because I feel like this club deserves the very best and that means a leader that is here at all times. I have decided that we are going to develop a leadership head. So here it is A new Activity! We as a club are going to vote for two members to lead the club. I will stay on as a type of club care taker but all new decisions will be made between the two people that the club votes for and me.

So here is the deal we are going to elect a Nintendo Worshippers club President and Vice President that will serve for the period of one year (well almost a year I think that we should make the voting month January because it will be easy to remember.) Anyhow here are the rules.

    1. Any club member can be nominated to be on the ballet. However -
    You can not nominate yourself
each member can only nominate two people! And no duh but " you can only nominate members of the Nintendo Worshippers club

    2. Once nominate a nominee must accept the nomination. This way anyone who is not interested in being on the ballet will not be on the ballet. If a nominee declines then they will not be voted for.

    3. In one week we will list all the nominees and each current member of the Nintendo Worshippers Club will get to vote for the three members that they feel would do the best job. Then the two members with the most and second most votes will be crowned the President and vice president.

As president and vice president those members will have the ability to accept new members, remove members from the club and warn existing members.

Also the president will be given the ability to adjust club rules. We will start nominations tomorrow and then end one week later. I know that there will be questions so ask them all today so that they can be answered before tomorrow.

Also as always this club is a democracy not a dictatorship so any suggestions will be accepted concerning this activity.

Good activity idea Maxpower. I know the college life can be busy, what did you major in and what do you hope to do as a job? I wouldn't worry too much about your absence though, life can be busy, and we nintendo worshippers are still surviving even though our great leader may be gone sometimes.

As for nominations..hmmm. I have a few people in mind, most are due to the fact they are for the most part pretty active and knowledgeable when it comes to Nintendo. You're right though, this is definitely a democracy in here.

I'd like to nominate Captain Kirk as president, he seems to know his Nintendo stuff very well, and is pretty active. As for vice, hmm, I'm thinking either DarkDragoon or Setzertrancer, as they both are active too.

Well, I would have to say, Geomander/Capn' Kirk would be a good prez, While I think GLC/Dyluck would make a good vice, but, I really don't like the idea of losing our Hippy leader .

I guess the choice is up to you all though :S.

    ~TheDarkDragoon

P.S. I have been playing that GBA Super Mario RPG thing (forgot the name, need to find the cart, my mother has also, strangely, become addicted to the game), My first new Nintendo game since, er, I think Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance.
