1. To some, yes, it could be art. It really comes down as someone's definition of art, and while some tattoos do look good, to me it's art at their own level.

2. I'm leaning to yes on that one. Probably peer pressure, since lots of people just want to do what their friends are doing. You know, doing the latest fad and whatnot.

3. To me, they would be. But for someone who wants to prove their love for someone by sealing their name on their neck or arm, it's probably worth spending on. I say probably, because they could regret it down the road if they end up breaking up.

4. Black and white for me. Color looks more repulsive when someone is sweating or wearing sunscreen over it.

5. It might as well, because if it doesn't have a meaning, why would you get one in the first place?

Overall, I find colored tattoos repulsive. Names are okay by me. I don't have one, but I'll be honest. If I wanted to support something, I'd get a flag or a stamp for our troops, a costume for my favorite character in any genre, or get one of those temporary tattoos. Because getting a real one hurts (or so I heard), and if I end up hating what I get, I'd have to remove it, which is also painful. At the same time, though, I don't mind if any friends have them. I keep my thoughts to myself and won't ruin the day for them.

Plus, I accept the fact that I'll be old someday. Tattoos don't look good on old skin, do they?
