Does Penelo have tattoos?

I noticed during the ending of FFXII that Penelo had what appeared to be tattoos or markings down her arms. I haven't played Revenant Wings yet but I've seen pictures of her in the game and I haven't seen the same markings on her.
Does she still have them in Revenant Wings or were they just body decorations?
They looked really cool on her...in fact I wish she'd worn her ending outfit throughout the game, though her RW outfit looks the same or very similar.

Never even noticed that. Just looked, and it looks more like some kind of paint.

I agree that her ending outfit was much better than what she wears in the rest of the game. She should have just worn that instead.

She doesn't look so innocent and girly anymore, hey...oh well, guess I'll have to get my grubby paws on a copy of RW to appreciate it :-p

I also like her hair better in the ending. Something about her Pippi Longstocking braids that stuck out of the sides of her head made her seem really childish to me, but hey, I suppose that was the idea considering she was young and we got to see her mature more and the end of the game.

As for the "tats", I'm with Fluffy. It's probably just some paint.

I agree with you Dodie about her hair, it did look a lot better. Though I thought the little plaits were cute too :-)

She doesn't have the "tattoos" in the sequel, so it must be paint or a mysterious invisible shirt with visible designs.

You don't see them during the game so I would say no. Maybe she got them afterwards but who knows?

First, Penelo is 17 in the game, so she can't be 16 at the end, which is 2 years after the end of the war. Also, the change of dress, and hair style/body decorations, occurs after the war, so she probably didn't have the ending outfit until after the war as well. (After all, she and Vaan are orphans, despite the best efforts of the Bangaa Migelo to be something of a father figure to them both.)

I believed the artwork to be tatoos, which she gained after the war (I assume) at about the same time Vaan acquired his own airship. If RW did not include them, then perhaps RW is set before the end of the war? (I haven't seen or played RW, so I don't know.)

I have never played RW but if penelos "tattoos" aren't there, then they aren't tattoos lol
