I'm clinically obese myself, and I absolutely support this chick.

There's nothing wrong with being a fat **** like I am, but there is absolutely something wrong with being in denial about it. I'm fat. I know I'm fat. I know WHY I'm fat. I know how NOT to be fat. I know what being fat is doing to my body. If you can't honestly say all of these things, you should not be comfortable with your body. Skeletons don't grow when you eat Twinkies, you're not big boned, you're just a fat ****. Genetics can prevent you from easily losing weight, and it can make it easier to put it on, but I promise you, if you are spending more energy than you are consuming, it is physically impossible for you to be gaining fat. Bad genetics don't come out of the box of Twinkies you had for breakfast. If you have made the choice to be, or remain fat when you have all of the above information, you are not disabled. You're a ****ing adult who can, and must be held accountable for your own poor decision making skills. Actual handicapped people get special parking spots and moved to the front of lines because they are physically incapable of doing what you have willfully given up. You don't deserve special treatment for willfully ****ing yourself. **** this politically correct fat acceptance bullshit, and I look forward to laughing at the heart attacks of every stupid **** hashtagging it.
For Our Lord Sheogorath, without Whom all Thought would be linear and all Feeling would be fleeting. Blessed are the Madmen, for they hold the keys to secret knowledge. Blessed are the Phobic, always wary of that which would do them harm. Blessed are the Obsessed, for their courses are clear. Blessed are the Addicts, may they quench the thirst that never ebbs. Blessed are the Murderous, for they have found beauty in the grotesque. Blessed are the Firelovers, for their hearts are always warm. Blessed are the Artists, for in their hands the impossible is made real. Blessed are the Musicians, for in their ears they hear the music of the soul. Blessed are the Sleepless, as they bask in wakeful dreaming. Blessed are the Paranoid, ever-watchful for our enemies. Blessed are the Visionaries, for their eyes see what might be. Blessed are the Painlovers, for in their suffering, we grow stronger. Blessed is the Madgod, who tricks us when we are foolish, punishes us when we are wrong, tortures us when we are unmindful, and loves us in our imperfection.

    This.

Aside from her being completly annoying and obnoxious, she does have a point. Although from personal experience, the way she comes across makes it hard for people to like her and thus, take her seriously. She is not funny, her points are few are far between her shitty jokes and editing, and theres nothing funny about people who are unhappy about themselves (and im telling you if a fat person had a choice to become athletic with no effort required, they would).

@Pete "If people are happy in their bodies, good for them. Keep doing you."
If their bodies are causing health problems that are keeping them in hospital or at doctors in Australia, its my tax dollars that are funding their health care (and disability welfare, jesus christ) for their self inflicted obesity. I reiterate; I bet noone who is obese is happy with themselves in the sense that if they could choose to become athletic with no effort, they would certainly opt too.

So do I think 'fat shaming' is a thing? Certainly. You could shame someone for just about anything you consider worth shaming someone for, but is it bullying? Certainly can be. But lets talk about double standards. Fat people are protected by the same socially unbalanced principle that says its okay to tell skinny people to eat more, but its not okay to tell fat people to eat less. Why is this?

Because people dont care about what is true or false, they only care about feelings. Yuck.

While we are here, I stronly reccomend you watch this video of a great show in Australia that debates a topic with a live audience. This particular episode is highly relevant, entertaining and informative in relation to this topic.

The look on the personal trainers face when the obese women try to explain to him why they are fat, is absolutley priceless.

For those that want just a couple of highlights
