    Just got:

    Child of Darkness by Bedemon
    Live 83 by Witchfinder General

Quite awesome albums both of them. I'm a bit of a Pentagram fanatic, and since Bobby Liebling sings on Child of Darkness, it was really a must buy to me. The Witchfinder General live album was just something I came across when I ordered the other one, but it's a nice live album and the set list is great.

Pirates of the Carabbean 2 soundtrack

Thats pretty much the last disc I bought. I don't buy Music CD's unless I like alot of the music. If its just one or two songs I like then I usually try to find it on ITUNES.

Recently aquired Beck's new album, "The Information." I have to say it could be one of his best yet..though not entirely original, he seems to bring all his different influences together in one place for a very eclectic listen.

Ah that's cool you are listening to Radiohead. Those are two good albums, but probably not their best. I guess everyone has their different opinion on Radiohead albums. I think they are one hell of a band though, and Thom Yorke is in my opinion one of the best frontmen in rock today, see him live and you'll be amazed. Got to catch their Bonnaroo performance this year.

Gold lion's gonna show me where the light is! Take our hands out of control!

ANd yea Thom Yorke is ridiculusly good.

My last CD I bought while procrastinating was Jeff Buckley - Mystery White Boy. He's one of my favourite artists of all time, my brother lost that CD so I had to go replace it.

Ah that's cool you like Jeff Buckley, is that a live album of his? I'm a bit of a Jeff Buckley fan myself, the only album i have of his is Grace though. I think my favorite song would have to be either Last Goodbye or Hallelujah.

I've been trying to find some albums by his father Tim though haven't gotten anything yet.

Anywayz, just got the new Bob Dylan album, i have to say i like it a lot thus far.

    2) Hot Chip- The Warning. Only one words (well... 3 actually) got me to get this album. "Over and Over". Enough said, as it's a wicked song. Extremely catchy and the best indie-club song in ages. I've given the album a couple of listens, but THAT is the stand-out track. There are other good songs, such as "Boy From School" and "Look After Me" too.
I've been grooving to this album a lot lately! I like it a lot..kind of indie/electronic music kinda thing. Very cool indeed.

Yea that's the live album. I find myself really unable to pick a couple favourties from him.. There's just so many i absolutly love, just as much as the other. Get Sketches for the My Sweetheart the drunk. Disk one has some absolute gold in it.

I personally couldnt get used to Bob Dylan's stuff. IN the 40 or so albums he's released, there's a lot thats absolute rubbish, and some absolute gold I hear.

    The other day I bought:

    1) Black Holes and Revolations- Muse. I've been meaning to get this album for ages. I love Muse, and their latest CD is quite different from their other ones, but is still a greatly crafted piece of musical work. The singles are the stand-out ones for me... Supermassive Black Hole, Starlight and Nights of Cydonia are definate favorites off the album.

I've finally gotten round to buying Silent Alarm, the debut album from Bloc Party. I've heard their singles Helicopter, Banquet, Pioneers, So here We Are and Little Thoughs many times, as well as other songs such as Tulips on free promotional CDs. Anyway, I was happy with this album. Each song is different. Helicopter and Banquet as some know have the trademark enegetic Matt Tong drums and really contageous riffs, which I really love in songs. Others are more slow, such as So Here We Are. Theres even one which is a bit of an alternative-r&b crossover (which some call "grindie" but I refuse to say that), which although is not something I especially like, its an interesting experiment.

As the t-shirts say, "God Bless Bloc Party"

That was the last CD I bought too actually, I think. It was like two weeks ago now, or so, but eh... I forgot to post about it.

I didn't realize that it was supposed to just be accoustic, though, so when I heard My Hero and Everlong all slo and soft, I was disappointed. Actually, I could've sworn I heard an electric guitar in one or two of those songs... must've been my imagination, though. Anyhoo...

I actually liked the version of my hero, the part where the slow pion part goes and then it speeds up and the guitar comes back in. I thought that was pretty tight. But, yeah the Everlong cover was brutal. Its in my top 5 favorite songs of all time, but that cover was just shall we say "choaded". Overall not a bad CD but I was still disappointed.

I bought a CD today - every song ever recorded in the short life of the wonderfully talented blues legend Robert Johnson, all on one CD. I'm listening to it right now, and really liking it; I like the way he sings, his lyrics, and the steady beat he keeps with his guitar. He could really play that thing.

The last one I bought before that was So Damn Happy - Loudon Wainwright's live CD. Superb stuff.

I love Robert Johnson with a passion. I have King of the Delta Blues, I don't think that's every song of his, but it's most of his well known stuff. I know they have a million different versions of the album though.

A few new albums i have acquired recently are

    1. Peter Bjorn and John - Writer's Block
    2. Yo La Tengo - I Am Not Afraid Of You And I Will Beat Your Ass
    3. Midlake - The Trials Of Van Occupanther

All are great albums..i'm a longtime Yo La Tengo fan and i am falling in love with their newest album. Midlake is really chill music, takes a lot from 60s and 70s soft rock and acoustic acts, and Peter Bjorn and John are a indie rock band out of Sweden. I have their songs "Amsterdam" and "Young Folks" stuck in my head right now. Loving them.

Lacuna Coil - Karmacode...I never really used to listen to them until I bought this one...took me many times of listening to it before I eventually warmed up to them. Now I'm hunting for their older stuff!

Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band - Trout Mask Replica

Elvis Costello - Armed Forces (this one was a Christmas present for someone)

I haven't really gotten into Trout Mask yet, but it was produced by Frank Zappa, and I'd heard good things about it, so I thought I'd pick it up cheap. I have The Spotlight Kid and Clear Spot by Beefheart, which I enjoy.
