Eh, that's a better answer than what I had. I was just going to say that assholes are funny as hell, and since it's fun to be funny, it's fun to be an asshole.

Well, I was just saying, as an American myself, it's best if you leave the U.S. criticizing to us Americans, because everything that's American or about America, belongs to Americans, and nobody else. You foreigners should just stick with what you do best, herding sheep in your third world countries. You'll only have a say about America if you actually become an American, but if you do that, you'll be too busy cleaning my house and doing my yard work to put in your two cents.

Now, to my point, why is being a complete asshole so much fun?

haha yeah, it's kind of hard to have a vm conversation if there's a few days gap between messages. It's like "What the hell were we talking about again, oh, nevermind."

Oh I'm aware. It's pretty funny and random how some of these conversations go. I was talking with Alpha about FFIV for the GBA and then about America and then evolution.

I have a bone to pick with my HS French teacher then. I asked her the same question James did, and received the answer I replied with

So we shouldn't make it too in-depth? I think if we just outline a description and some basic positions on several areas (health, perceptions, addictiveness, legality, tax revenue, etc), while remaining completely impartial (initially, at least), then it's more likely to be taken as a serious discussion, rather than a GC "doo youz smoke p0t??!!1" thread.

Could you explain a few things about communisim for me?
What is it all about?
I keep seeing the group and I constantly think of joining but I have no clue what communisim is.

Yeah I just downloaded a few of their albums (legally, with money, from iTunes, 'cause I pay for good music). I heard Planet of Ice when it came out, as my friend lent it to me, but hadn't heard any more. I can tell you it certainly doesn't get worse.

So you think we just talk about why it is considered bad, and the rest will just flow naturally out of that? I want to make a substantial opening post (complete with images and headings), in an effort to get a good, structured discussion, otherwise people will just dismiss us as pot heads - erroneously, of course.

Ooh! I have another question (you must be getting sick of them, haha).

What is the language 'Double-Dutch'? I know there's a skipping-rope game named that but I've heard the phrase "They may as well be speaking Double-Dutch." and other things like that. Is it a language, or just some unusual phrase.

Any ideas for some possible things to say? I'm thinking you could do health and (lack of) addictiveness, and I could do arguments for and against legalisation. Or something, if at all. Thoughts?

Wait a minute... How many of these langauges and 'sub-languages' do you actually speak? And how on earth are you so good at English?

That's actually very interesting. I had no idea that Flemish and Dutch were the same language, that sort of explains why Belgium has so many 'official languages'.

Though it's a little surprising if the difference is that small that the langauges are given different names. It sounds more like different accents than anything else, since in Britain accents tend to have their own words and spoken/internet spelling differences.

I would have thought Northern Dutch and Southern Dutch would've been more suitable names
