Hm. As of right now, I have the experience to work... at like a fast food place, a store, or maybe some factory. Most of those actually don't pay better than janitorial. I'm making $11.50 an hour as a sub. If I were temporary, I'd make $13.60 an hour. I suppose if I were working full time at one of those places, I'd make more money than just working off and on as a sub. But I don't like those other jobs, and I can tolerate this one. Plus, if I ever got on, I'd get the benefits of a worker employed by the state, which is good. However, I think I will be looking for something else soon... Oh yeah, and the not working regularly thing. Basically, I can tell them I don't feel like it today. Generally, I get a lot of calls each week, although this week, as of yet, I've gotten none...

I didn't realize you could play video games and stuff on there; thought it only had memory/power for surfing the net and writing stuff. Interesting...

It depends upon what we're talking about, I guess. Honestly, I'm not always sure what will set the one friend off. Sometimes he's like, "I'll accept your opinion," and other times he'll get annoyed at you for having a different opinion. Although I don't think my friends are completely Conservative either.

They don't go to the lectures? Maybe they just read the book? But the professor might lecture on something that's not in the book! And how will they know which part of the book to study?! Oh dear... (then again, some Professors have outlines of what they lecture on posted on a website, or something.) And what about pop quizzes?! ...do they have those at unis? I don't even know...

A word for people you know, but whom are not your friends is "acquaintances." And I wish I could get rid of my worries the way you do, heh. And there was no [insert language here] in your message... wait a second lady, you just gave yourself away! >>....<<....we shan't speak of it again!

Nah don't read the whole thing, I had to read it again the other day for study, it's just variation around that excerpt. Basically, the Chinese invented democracy, but so did the Greeks, independently. So I'm not slagging on the Greeks, but it's worth pointing out that democracy isn't uniquely Western, especially to people who blame the lack of "good governance" for poverty in the world.

How old were you when you wrote that happiness thing? Did it say that you were in primary school? Wait, why don't I just check...

You say you wrote it in "school". Define "school" - is it like before age 10? Cause I couldn't write anything like that at that age, and they put me in extended writing classes. I looked at the stuff I kept from primary school, and apart from maths, it mostly pretty bad. Well, I s'pose I don't know what 'bad' is for a primary school child.

Anyway, it's amazing. You must have written that when you were at least 14, 15?

Well my mum's going up north to go to a friends house, so I'm going to stay at a friend's house to do tricks to little kids! Mwahahaha!
My friend Adam will be in a bin, with his hand hanging out of it, my friend Casey is dressing up as a doll that'll be down on the ground and I'm a killer with a knife full of blood! When people come knock on for Trick or Treat, I'll have the knife out and ask them to give a penny to the doll then Casey jumps out, then the next bunch will see Adam's hand while they put the wrappers in the bin and look at my knife and his "Blood"! It'll all come together perfectly! What about you?

My brother is not ready yet. He just woke up when I got to the door. So now I'm on his computer, waiting for him to be ready.

First of all, I'll expand upon the job thing. See, I am a substitute janitor, which means they call me when some janitor in the district is sick or can't work for some other reason, and so I cover for them. Generally, they only need me for a day, but I do usually get an okay amount of work doing this; probably resulting in about 8 to 12 days of work most months (the 12 being a fairly good month.) When I was working at NAMS, the person I was covering for was out a long time due to injury. So long, in fact, that their policy was that they had to offer a temporary position to cover for him the rest of the time he was gone. They decided to put this up for anyone to apply for. If I'd gotten it, it might've only lasted another week, but at least I could've put something on my resume and had gotten my foot in the door as far as getting a permanent position in the district goes. The way it sounded, he might not have ever come back, in which case I would've stayed there permanently. So it goes. I'm taking advantage of the "not working regularly" thing even as we speak.

So, you got a new toy for school, eh? That's cool. I kinda want something like that for if I ever do something like working at Yellowstone again. And you don't think I'd be childish, impolite, or stupid enough? Give me a chance, heheheh... But wait a sec; what you're saying is that you frequently set yourself up to be teased, then?

My friends are very conservative. It's hard to get them to sit through anything that has an ever so slightly "liberal" message without them getting annoyed and not want give the thing a chance anymore. It is really annoying sometimes. Discuss the message of global warming in movies? I can't think it would come up that often, although a "preserve the environment" message in general probably does more frequently than one might expect. Which I'm not saying is a bad thing, necessarily.

Sounds like you're taking things down to the wire, a bit. Also sounds like it's a necessity with the way they have stuff set up over there, eh? What about people who don't have notebooks? They'd be screwed. And 500 students, eh? Was that an actual class, or was it some kind of orientation thing? I can't imagine that was very comfortable, though, no.

But you called them "your new friends at the university," to be precise, in an earlier message Although it sounds like you've talked yourself out of worrying about whether they're just using you or not, eh? Things sound like they will be working out for you, so good for you. I'm still thinking a great deal; not doing much. So it goes.
