Whew, I'm back from my week off with my boyfriend and it was excellent.
We put the usage of my birth control pills to the test, and now to cross our fingers and pray to the stalk not to give us a baby.
It was a wonderful time off, though. All that sucks now, is missing him. I doubt I'll see him til next year, to be honest... Which feels terrible, because I'd like to give him his Christmas presents in person... that, and I already miss the cuddles, the kissing and the sex.
Hrrrr... It's going to be a long couple of months...
In other news, my parents are going Christmas shopping tomorrow... so early! I still like with them, and they asked me what I want... I asked for some more artist canvases. I'm down to one really tiny one.
I'm currently painting a new portrait, though... A lighthouse with trees and a sea view. Andrew recommended it, and being an artist, I accepted the challenge. After all, landscapes can be easy-peasy.
What else? Oh yeah, I feel desperately lonely now Andrews' gone.
I actually fell in love with the guy a while ago, so that makes it a Hell of a lot more painful.

Sorry Vivi baby, the EU already accounts for 70% of the laws that govern our daily lives...don't see that changing. Every single sexually active female goes through phases where they're convinced they're pregnant. It's happened to me before. Luckily, I had friends on hand to say 'Don't worry, we've got a bottle of rum and a flight of stairs, you'll be fine!'
If any woman vomits for a few days in a row, feels a bit odd...people share horror stories in the flat. Like how someone knew a girl who was on the Pill (this person is now the stroytellers sister in law), fell pregnant and didn't notice at all because the Pill kept giving her fake periods. She just thought she was getting fat and then whoosh! baby happens.

As for the collapsing thing, APPARENTLY (according to mum's I've spoken to), it IS possible to collapse in very early stage of pregnancy... weird, although you're probably right.

D'you think it's worth me getting one? For some reason winter always twists me up. I get reticent and angry, cut myself off, and have some pretty fun delusions about the end of the world. When I was younger I used to think of it as a time of change: around late October some huge question, a completely impossible possibility, will arise and sit on my head until March. Back then I thought I had the questions answered - I didn't, I'd just cheered up a bit.
I'm finding it weird since I've moved. For weeks now it's been pitch dark at 4pm - it's just oppressive. My friend and I left the house to go shopping at lunchtime and it was dark on the bus home, and we'd barely been out.
Hmm.
Well, to be fair, if you can find a cheapish one, they're not bad for creating a warm feeling... Kind of like inner peace, and all that crap.
I've heard it doesn't effect some people, but I know that it does effect others. (If it had no effect whatsoever, it'd kind of be an indication for trading standards to bitchslap the crap out of their puny little companies!)
They are availble at a pretty cheap price... If you decide to buy one, don't go as far as to end up spending more than £8...
You should be able to get a pack of five for that price, last time my friend had them...
