    Tattoos?

I am considering getting a tattoo, a final fantasy one too, but I wanted to see if anyone had any advice about it, does it hurt a lot? basically what are your experiences with tattoo ( if you have any) if not, how do you feel about them?

it depends where you get it how much it hurts. My lower back hurt and tickled at the same time, over the bone hurt me quite abit as well. My arm I didnt even really notice

Its not as bad as people think it is, though some people are just shit bags and super dramatic about it. Obviously they dont tickle, but its bearable

Also, think long and hard about what youre having and whether you think theres the potential for regret a ways down the line, Im almost half way through a laser treatment to get rid of one of mine. Urgh

I fully support the above statement. The only deviation is that the pain also depends on you pain thresh hold and how well you can cope with it.

I highly advise you really sit down and think about what you want. Even with lazer treatment you will be left with scar tissue and skin pigmentation. I advise you get something that really means something to you, not something you just think is cool or trendy. Skulls, tribal, coy fish and things like that are played out. Think original and outside the box.

I have tats on both wrists. Wrists are a sensitive area and the pain was completely bareable. I've had dry needles ran across many parts of my body to see how it feels and the only place that was completely uncomfortable was in webbing areas.

I had a final fantasy tattoo. It was Vincent's cerberus from Dirge. I got a full sleeve on the arm where it was, and got it covered. My sleeve only hurt when he hit my elbow, other than that the pain was fine. At some points I kind of enjoyed it. I have had many friends who thought that getting a tattoo would hurt real bad, then after say that it felt kinda good haha

I don't have any problems with tattoos, but i personally haven't considered getting one. The main reason is that i'm indecisive and would probably grow sick of it real quick and i don't want to have to go through pain twice on the same area

I think something that you have to consider is what it will look like in 20,30,40,50+ years. A chocobo may look cute tattooed on you now, but it'll look like a gangly nasty rubber chicken when you're 70.

Plus, are you really going to have the same love for the series now that you will in x amount of years? I mean I loved the series when I was younger, but now that the games haven't been as good, I feel a lot less love for the series and would have greatly regretted any FF related ink.

I'll be getting a celtic cross done on my back relatively soon. I just need a free weekend or two, and those are few and far between.
