I volunteer and teach at Homeschool Co-ops and a Private School. Earlier this week, I gave away herbs(Thyme and some Oregano), trees(plums and pears) and plants(kale, spinach) to those who can't afford them. I usually do this to people I know that need them and can't afford them, if I can't sell the stuff at the Farmer's Market. I don't really claim this as a good deed or nice as I would've much rather sold them for a profit. I also volunteer to teach because it feeds my ego a touch, which is always nice. But it is great when I get thanked by parents and kids, after class.
*edit* We have quite a few philanthropists at TFF. Nice.
