That.
That's why I'll try to keep it short: The late 80's and the 90's. Really. That's about it. There is nothing much to say.

For example, lots of songs by the band Dune remind me of myself singing in my room in front of my radio when I was still young (and didn't understand the lyrics).

"Zombie" by The Cranberries will always remind me of:
a) my family driving to my grandmother. My mother always had cassettes in her car consisting of the latest music on the radio - and that song was one I always heard. It's the same as "What's Up?" by the Four Non Blondes. It was just playing EVERY TIME in the car.
b) my brothers playing table tennis on New Year's Eve. They sang it pretty... PRETTY loudly. Somehow the song's become a kind of "song of my brothers and me". :>

As for my sister, I really don't want to say what SHE listened to. XD Really bad pop of a pretty famous singer... at least back then. I don't even remember her real name. ^^"

There are so many songs... I began listening to them all again, half a year ago, because I needed my past back then. I had lots of stress and it was really great to have the feeling of being young again. :> I can recommend doing that.
