Well just made it thru the first section of Girevegan..and i have to say it was one of the most annoying and long parts in the game thus far for me. The enemies there were ridiculous..trying to take on 3 or more Behemoths is not fun. They can use attacks that can do around 1500 damage, and their normal attacks do around 700, though sometimes they will link those for up to four or more hits. Then..they will work together and one will put the other in beserk mode, yaaaay. Then there are the great super malboros (or whatever they are called) which are extremely annoying and the groups of gargoyles. Also fleeing in this section is very very hard. Anywayz, Finally got to the second save point which i think means a boss battle is about to begin. My entire team went up 2 or more levels just going through the last section. Penelo, Vaan, and Basch have all three quickenings now and Balthier and Ashe have two.

Vaan Lv. 42 Basch Lv. 42 Ashe Lv. 41

Played for a few hours today and got some things done.

Hit level 20 on Vaan, he's still my only character heh, need to meet up with penelo in that village still XD. Got my first quickening, pretty nifty if you ask me... think my highest damage was a 4 hit + inferno for 6200 damage, not bad.

Managed to 1 shot the flowering cactuar for the Mark, with a quickening, not been back to the board to get another one though, spent most of my time levelling, which means i'm still a Hedge Knight and i have 20k points. I believe i'm at 6 hours played time.

Highest chain so far is on the wolves in Dalmasca Estersand, just ran around for an hour at a time chaining them... good money actually, 99 pelts go for 4k ish and the stones from them go for around 2k ish, pretty fast money at the start of the game, sitting on around 26k gil + a load of items from the wolverines in Giza Plains (got a nifty katana from them actually, +50 attack... Kotetsu i believe). But anyway, my highest chain is 120 =o.

Well I have mainly been doing marks and got two elite marks done up too. I have almost all of the ones I had finished now, which is 20. Though I would imagine that there are probably a lot more, but this was with the Vanguard Rank. I'm several rank higher now, at Riskbreaker now. I have 6 Elite Marks right now, 3 because of ones I killed in the progress of the story. 3 that were assigned. Rocktoise, Trickster and Antlion. I have 14 normal marks killed. Oh I got 6 Espers now, I picked up Adrammelech on some caverns.

62 is my current level of my guys. I am looking into finding where some of the better spells and armor are in the game that I have not found through stores yet.

Well, I've been doing a lot of running around and getting LP. Vaan's maxed out the entire top half of his license board. I'm on my way to Archadia. I've got the first 20 marks defeated, and tonight I just got the espers Adramallek (wrong spelling but you get the idea) and Zalera. My whole party is level 41 and every character has all three of their quickenings unlocked.

Finally started getting some days off that don't have events going on in FFXI so I've been making a ton of progress. I put around like 12-14+ hours on it yesterday lol. >.>

As far as the storyline, I'm right at the E;der Wyrm. He pretty much killed me once already so I'm taking a break from storyline advancing to level, make gil, re-equip my characters and do hunts. Sounds a lot like XI actually lmao. My clan rank right now is Headhunter.

Let's see...the last mark I completed was Enkelados. It wasn't hard but those two freakin annoying rare monsters kept nearly killing me. I ended up having to use Belias to kill off the Aerora and go around the Bull Croc until after I killed the mark.

As for my party...I have quite a level range going. My lowest is Penelo at 18, highest Fran at 29. Might be why the Wyrm had fun with me lol, only my "main" party is decently equipped and leveled. I had no problems with Tiamat though, although it scared the crap out of me cause I wasn't expecting it. XD

My main party right now is Basch, Fran and Ashe. Honestly I didn't care much for him at the beginning but right now I really like Basch. He's my party leader and main tank, or as much of one as he can be in the game. For all intents and purposes, him and Ashe are my paladins. He also happens to hit the hardest, doing easily 600+ a hit. He's got close to 3000 hp and as many Shield Blocks as I can find. His block rate is crazy lol. Plus he has gold armor so he doesn't take much damage from anything. His only real limitation at this point is low mp.

Ashe is my backup tank and main healer, which works quite nicely. She also has gold armor and pretty much all possible magic available to me right now. I haven't been using offensive magic much but the healing type comes in quite handy.

Fran is my ranger/black mage. She sits in the back and snipes things and also has a ton of black/green/time magic in case a strong mob happens to have a weakness to any of it.

All three have the LPx2 accessory so hopefully I can fill out their abilities more. I have a Jade Collar for Basch too to help him evade like a ninja wooooo. ^^

So yeah...just messing around right now. I picked up a bunch of new hunts that I'm wary of doing because they're all like rank 4 and 5. I've only been doing the rank 1-3 for now cause so far none of them have come close to killing me, though the Rocktoise (Genbu pretty much XD ) was interesting with all the skeletons chasing me near the end lol. Had the same problem with the Wyvern Lord and Bagolys respawning on me.

Might try going after the Ring Wyrm, not sure though. It apparently has specific spawn conditions and I don't know what they are. And no I don't have a guide nor am I using GameFAQs. It's been a long time since I got a game on the release date, before anyone has a chance to spoil things or knows all the secrets, so I'm really enjoying it. Hell, I don't even play the other Final Fantasy games this obsessively, with the obvious exception of XI.

Well I made it to the status of Paragon of Justice, Dragonheart should know why that made me smile a little. Paragon of Justice is my current Clan Rank having killed 24 Marks, though I think the number is currently 25 Marks. I also have 6 Elite Marks killed I am pretty sure, 6 Elite Marks that are not story related. Oh I fought Gilagamesh, he is a strange one and ran away when I fought him once in the Lhusu Mines. I have to go hunt him down again, but I really did not feel like search the Lhusu Mines for Gilagamesh, so I when for other easier Marks, I just wanted some more ranks.

I finally got myself Bravery, Faith and Hastega. You have no idea how happy I am to have found Hastega and in all places too. I go north to some small little village for a mark and I talk to the Bazaar guy and the only spell he has is Hastega. I nearly collapse in surprise. But I am happy now that I have it. Bravery and Faith I got from the Clan Bazaar once you hit a certain rank. I figure that a lot of the advance items will be available in the clan bazaar, which is why I am doing so many marks now. I currently have 42 Marks and 25 of them are dead. I still got a long way to go on getting them all. I will have to wait till the Rainy Season for one of them.

Otherwise, my party is level 66. Oh, I got a Maxmillion from a monster in the Necrohol of Nabudis, which was exciting since it is a Heavy Armor 9 or 10. I was pretty surprised by that, but I am happy to have. I still need two more. And I getting my LP grid more filled out on armor, since I am looking into going to Light Armor at some point because it has a HP boost. Though I do have bubble right now, so I might not need the HP boost. Bubble, doubles my HP. I used that during my fight with Deathgaze on the airship, that was a lot of fun.

I also killed Deathsycthe and I killed a huge Malboro called Carrot. >.> Yeah, its name was Carrot. I have to go find Fafnir sometime too.

Story-wise I'm at the Stillshrine of Miriam.

I'm doing some levelling up right now though, because my characters arn't chopping through the enemies as best as I'd like. Basch is my strongest character, he's level 27, followed by Fran (level 25) and Balthier (Level 25).

I have such a hard time trying to not forge forward in the game. I want to know what happens noooooooooooooooow!!!

i know how you feel, the story is really going to pickup where you are

Right now i'm still in Girevegan, i was right about an upcoming boss. I can't beat it though, this thing is annoying me, all the bosses ive been fightly lately have been easy but this thing is tough (and it doesn't help that i have NO phoenix downs or NO hi-potions). I guess i should have realized that with enemies like the behemoth the boss wouldn't be easy. I'm almost considering backtracking all the way back to the teleport crystal so i can restock on items..but for anyone who is past where i am, they know that it wouldn't be an easy or fun task.

I know, it happens to me too, especially since my memory is flighty and I tend to lose story momentum.

I'm at the same place as well, I managed to kill everything in there pretty well, I think I'm at level 27-28, maybe a bit higher.

I dispatched a mid-boss (I guess it was, right before turning one of the statues) with finesse, so I figured I was fine and I went ahead without curing much, well, of course the next boss showed me who's boss right then and there.

I left it there; I think tonight I might try hunting marks level 2 before going back to Miriam and see how I fare.

This reminds me of IX, there are so many side activities to do, I love that.

I'm pissed cuz my game data got erased weirdly. I know I didn't delete it on my memory card. Maybe its broken or something.....so I had to start all over. I was in Feywood with all of my characters around level 33, 35, and such. My characters already had all of their quckenings. So now I'm back at Rabanastre with Vaan at level 10. All that hard work for nothing.

I just finished my shopping at Balfonheim Port and am ready to head back to the jungle, then Feywood North. I have been doing TONS of leveling.

    Vaan: LvL 54
    Fran: LvL 50
    Balthier: LvL 52
    Ashe: LvL 50
    Basch: LvL 53
    Penelo: LvL 50

I got all my quickenings and am going to go try for some espers before I continue the storyline. I have heavy armor on ALL my characters, good defense, but I may possibly need more variety.

That chop earning stuff was a pain in the A$$! Took me like 2 hours just to figure out what to do!

Lol I'm having the same problem. The story keeps getting better, but the bosses keep getting harder. >.< I pwned
    Spoiler:
    Judge Bergen

with one Quickening chain though lmao. >.> Ashe, Basch, and Fran all have their three Quickenings.

Yes, I did make progress already. Quite a bit in fact, as I'm now in the Salikawood. I was totally not prepared for
    Spoiler:
the damned Bomb King and his buddies

though, got my butt kicked. Maybe cause I have no gil to upgrade anything with lol. Oh well, back to mark hunting I go!

Andro, the rainy season one you're looking for is Gil Snapper? I've fought it (several) times but it goes nuts near the end of it's HP bar and spams Blizzara/aga, very irritating. I haven't managed to beat him yet but you should have no problems at all. XD

My levels are now around 33-34ish, by the way. I found a really nice way to make exp and gil, on the Silicon Turtles that spawn in Gil Snapper's area. 1k+exp and Aged Turtle Shells go a long way at this point lol. That's how I did most of my leveling, just turtles, turtles, and more turtles. Course all my gil went into my spells and gambits so... >.<

I really want to hunt some more marks but most of them will probably kick my butt worse than the aforementioned boss. I need to find a really good area to chain or something, blah. I'm tired of the turtles, exping on them for like 3 hours.

Well right now I'm in the Giza Plains with Vaan and Penelo. They are both at level 12 and he's already learned his first quickening. He's using swords and light armor and shields. Right now I'm gonna level up a bit and fill in my bestary a bit.

I havent gotten any further in the storyline lately, so I'm still supposed to be heading for the Giza Plains (Wet). I decided to take a detour and do something insane. Instead of going to the Giza Plains, I made my way to Nalbina Fortress and through the Mosphoran Highwaste to grab myself LP boosting armbands. After grabbing those, I teleported to the Sandsea to chain the shit out of Urutans. I didn't care about money, since I had enough at the time. The goal was LP and this is a super-easy place to get it, since they pop fast and I can one-shot them. Anywho, I obtained all three Quickenings for all six characters and pretty much completed the lower half of the Augmentation Licenses(the non-magical half) for all of my characters. Didn't take long with the LP boost and easy chaining.

Why did I go to such great lengths at level 24(for all characters) to get this? Because I wanted to kill myself a bomb. I teleported to Mosphoran Highwaste and headed straight for Salikawood, where I encountered... King Bomb. If I was in need of money, I could have just stole Bomb Shells from him for hours, but like I said... I wanted him dead. I would not recommend you try this yourself unless you have a strong determination and nerves. It was quite difficult. Fighting a Boss that is 10 levels higher than you and absorbs fire, which many Quickenings are based off of, is extremely dangerous and requires a bit of luck. You could very well end up healing him or barely doing any damage if you accidentally use a fire-based Quickening. I had to zone a few times to get the combos down right. My winning run, I opened with Fran using her Lvl3 Quickening with Ashe and Penelo using theres. I completed a 9-hit combo with Torrent Concurrence. I specifically wanted this one since it was Water damage. Of course, since he's a bitch, he didn't die that easily. I switched Penelo out for Basch. This is dangerous, since his lvl3 is fire-based. I made sure to watch if it popped, so I wouldn't use it. Lvl3 fire == big-time healing. I layed out another 9-hit combo with Torrent Concurrence. Poor fellow couldn't even recharge his HP before he died. You think fighting a lvl 34 boss at lvl 24 is crazy, that was just the start!

Next up, Nechrol of Nabudis. Yes... every monster in there can either one-shot me or come close to it. I definately wouldn't recommend you go here unless you know where you are going and don't mind dying quite a bit. So why in God's name would I want to run in there? Zodiac Spear!! With careful planning and about 7 individual deaths, I grabbed my prize and ran the hell out of there. I am now the proud owner of a Zodiac Spear and I haven't even gone to Giza (Wet) yet. O.o

If anyone wants to know my strat for getting through Nabudis, I can post it up. I'm more than willing to help out anyone else who is as crazy as me. Now I can actually go forward with the storyline.. haha!

Well I just ended the longest fight I had to date against none other than Gilgamesh. I was lv 69 when I beat him, which I found out to be a very bad level to be at. I had lv 2 Sleep, lv 3 Disable, and lv 4 Break. I dodge the simple ones and get Disable, which screws me over something terrible. So I have to pull out another character to save them, which happen to be 14, 14, 9. Yeah not really good, surprisingly they only died once saved my main party from disable.

Gilgamesh has a pet too, which I had to take out first. Once he was down, Gilgamesh was nothing but a pain in the neck, I knew I could win if Disable did not kill me. Funny thing, I realized he owns the Brotherhood, Buster Sword, Gunblade and a few other swords that I think are from heroes of other FF games. I only realized that he had Buster Sword and Gunblade, when I saw that he had a blue sparkly sword not too unlike Brotherhood, and then I put two and two together and realized he has FF character weapons.

Gilgamesh is also a strange fellow, apparently he has an ordinary sword of legend, as though a sword of legend is ordinary, since what are you comparing to other swords of legends like you have seen other ones. Probably the strangest and funniest comment that I have seen in this game. Anyway, Gilgamesh was a nightmare with Disable, but I won.

I also went down to the bottom of a place I had been to earlier, near the end of the game. Found out, that it is also a nightmare and I got my butt handed to me because 6 lv 60 monsters were attacking me all at once. Not even I can take down that many at once, seeing as I kill one and another took its place. So I am going to level up more before going there again. Sadly, I have to go there for two marks.

I am current ranked as a Knight of the Round having killed 32 marks for that rank, but I think I am at 33 or 34. The guy that tells you how many to your next rank does not know what is next, so this might be the highest I can get. Either way, I still have a number of marks to get.

I started up some racing mini game, which is just like that annoying on in FFIX where you race the hippo. I had to do it once to get a mark, otherwise I doubt that I am going to do it again unless it has really good items as rewards.

I am still looking for some better equipment, but that will be a long search on my part. I will probably try for the Zodiac Spear one day when I am feeling like going into the Henne Mines a lot and get one for all of my guys. I need to level up the rest of my guys, they are still obviously so low. Penelo has almost 7500 LP as it stands.

Thanks GLC for the License tips. Man I think playing through XII the second time will be even better, it really helps to know where things are on the board.

    Currently

Ashe is at the highest at 24
    Basch is at 22
Penelo, Vaan, and Fran are at 20
    And Balthier is at 19

I've decided to change things up a bit Class wise, especially since I read a little of the weapons descriptions in the Traveler's Tips. I'm going to move Balthier into Crossbows but still be able to switch him between Guns and CBs just because CBs have more attack power, but Guns can pierce defense.

I finally decided to drop daggers and shields for Penelo and give her staves. I'm not sure where Katanas are on the Board but their description has them as "Magic weapons which damages based off Magik power" Sounds good to me as I'm focusing Panelo as the main Offensive Magic User.

So I just finished the bit with the Dusk Stone, what sucks is one of the FMVs just froze for several seconds, I meant to save in a seperate spot and revert back to see the FMV in full, to make sure it wasn't the disc, but I forgot and saved over it, DOH!

And welcome Rumrunner (PotC fan right?) You might want to introduce yourself in the Member Business forum.

All two handed weapons are on the bottom right side of the grid. Armor takes up the top right side. Swords follow along the middle right. Bows follow along with swords. Ninja swords are the top left. Crossbows are the top left. Magic staves are the bottom left. Bombs are the top left. Guns are the top left. Dagger are the top left. I think that covers them all.

Katanas are two handed weapons, along with spears, great swords, and axes I think, I never used the axes, but I am pretty sure they are 2 handed. Staff would be the only other two hand weapons that do not. Bows and ranged weapons fall into a different group, though two hand, they have ammo so they are different. In general most two handed weapons will be found on the bottom. Swords follow a thin line between armor and weapons.

No problem man. I haven't resorted to it much yet but i know if you really wanted to know the license board locations they have pictures online where everything is at gamefaqs.com. I'll be honest to say i did use it to find out where the golden amulet accessory was located but not for anything else. For the most part, things seemed to be grouped together well.

She's got it right there basically. Except axes/hammers are actually one handed, not two handed. They are really quite powerful too, if i ever switch Basch from his usual two handed weapons i love using axes/hammers because you can use a shield as well. And a lot of the time, axes/hammers are actually more powerful than a lot of the katanas i have access to.

Congrats on beating Gilgamesh Andromeda! He seems really hard, definitely not looking forward to some of those harder hunts.

Damn yeah you did! I thought you were way good already. I'm ahead of you, yet you are like..12 levels ahead of me .....

two hours though??? I thought that thing was pretty self explanatory, i was seriously done in like 10 minutes..you basically talked to the nearest person and you were on your way.

Damn, man sorry to hear that fishie (or should i say doughboy) . You were just about to where i was too, that's pretty far into the game. I've had the same thing happen to me with FF 7 the first time i played it..i was basically done with the game when it got erased. I was so frustrated i didn't restart it until months later. Also..my snes carts are always having their saved games erased. Good luck with things though!

Anywayz so i'm not spamming..I havent played at all in the last two days, been busy with stuff. I decided today that i'm going to take a break from this boss and bactrack all the way back through Girevegan to the teleport crystal. I'm going restock on items (i know i have A LOT of loot right now and even more when i go backtrack), get some clan hunts done because i have a lot more, and level up my underleveled characters (penelo, balthier, fran) so i finally have a balanced team so i don't have to soley rely on Vaan, Ashe, and Basch. Plus i'm gonna work on getting more magic.

Vaan Lv. 42 Basch Lv. 42 Ashe Lv. 42

Eh just been doing clan hunts non stop..just beat the lyndworm which was the longest and most annoying battle i have fought in the game thus far. This may be a long story, but i'm so relieved i beat it i have to post it. If you don't read it that's fine with me. (copied and pasted this from the favorite ff battle memory thread) Maybe nobody else had that much trouble with the lyndworm, but he certainly was quite the fight for me. It wasn't the power of the dragon, it simply the all the status ailments and suddenly Vaan had to become a full time healer of status ailments..plus everytime he restored hp..!

I just think i had one of my favorite FF battle memories.

I was playing FF XII, and doing the lyndworm hunt. The lyndworm is basically a huge beastly dragon that is a son of a beyotch to fight. I go into the battle with all my characters on Lv. 44 not knowing that he does a lv. 4 break spell and a lv. 2 sleep spell. So basically..everytime he did this my whole party was screwed. I had close to no status healing items either. Greeeeaaaat right? Well i slowly manage to get his HP down to a sliver when he bam, uses restore and his health is back up again! Son of a! Well i decide i need a strategy. I need a quick way to beat him before he can use restore again so i put Basch into beserk mode and let him go at the dragon while ashe uses dispel to get rid of the dragon's protect/shell. So i keep at it fighting him, Using protect/shell and regen on Basch to keep him going and keep healing him. I slowly start to lose MP and he keeps using restore. Well finally when my healer was out of MP i used my one hi ether to replenish it. So once again i get back at fighting him, but i can no longer but Basch into beserk mode because i'm all out of the proper item. Finally i get his life down to where i can't even see the bar but by this time im basically all out of MP and healing items so i'm thinking im completely screwed. A second later, Basch and Vaan both turn to stone (and i have no way of curing them) and Ashe is left with critical HP. I quick swap in my underleveled characters (Bash Vaan and Ashe are all Lv. 44 and everyone else is like lv. 12) Balthier and Penelo for Vaan and Basch. I know that the two underleveled characters won't last in the fight for more than a few seconds so i decide to give the dragon one last bang. I unleash all my quickenings on him doing a 10 hit combo which drained all of my MP but it was just enough damage to kill him! so 45 minutes -1 hr later after starting the fight, i had finally defeated the beast. The taste of victory has never been sweeter.

Anywayz, im a riskbreaker right now and i'm plannin on getting all the level V hunts done and VI too if i'm able to. Haven't tried any VIs though, so i'm not sure how hard they will be.

Well, I made some more progress this morning. ^^

As far as the story I just got to the Hunter's Camp, that is such a beautiful area. The new information on Balthier was interesting, to say the least.

Before I did that though I unlocked some more hunts and a did an optional boss. The Earth Tyrant, man was that a cool fight. It was close, though. >.< I pulled through with half my party dead and the other half close to it, no mp on anyone. I'd recommend 40+ for that lol.

Also killed the Feral Retriever, didn't give me much trouble but I had to spam Stona a lot. Ran into Trickster on my way back to the Teleport Crystal, that thing is nuts lol.

So for right now I'm gonna stop and make some money, I sorely need to upgrade -a lot- of stuff. >.<

Calling it a night early i guess

Yeah Trickster is nuts! I just beat that son of a! I finished with a mist combo so it wouldnt use that annoying attack it does, and for the first time in the game i got a combination i haven't seen before, luminasence (usually its either inferno, torrent, ark blast, or wind gust). I was thinking that they must have one for light and dark magic in addition the elements. I haven't seen the dark one yet though. That did 38k damage to him. Thought I was finally gonna b close to done with the rank V hunts but now montblanc has propostioned me with this "Belito" hunt. I have a feeling that even though it's a rank V it's gonna be kinda tough. Luckily i know the spot because i stumbled in there on my way to the tomb of raithwell at the beginning of the game

Well I just got to the Galmore Jungle. And I'm calling it a night. I hate that I tried saving up money for a bowgun only to be given one right afterward.

Did anyone else notice the direct reference to FFT when they arrive outside the jungle, Vaan says "Looks like this was a success!", your Guest party member (won't say who for sake of spoilerage) then says "This is the way!" and Penelo laughs and says "I got a good feeling!"

Oh man I was rolling on the floor. For those who DON'T get it, this is the imfamously badly translated lines from the Quests in FF Tactics you send party members on and they report back to you with these lines (see below).

Wheee, more progress for me this morning. ^^ Hunted and killed two more marks. Ixtab and the Vorpal Bunny. Both of them were pretty easy, I had more problems dealing with the bats and the endless skeleton army than I did with the actual marks. Ixtab likes to spam Doom though, which was somewhat irritating. Remedy Lore 3 took care of that though.

I also made about 60k from those two hunts, which means more upgrading for me. Sad but true, only Basch has truly up-to-date equipment. Everyone else gets his hand-me-downs. XD

As much as I love the story, I'm really enjoy all this hunting stuff. In fact, I'm about to go give the Gil Snapper another try. I think it's the last Rank 3 mark I need. I really wish I could stick Silence on it, all the Blizzara spam is a pain, always kills me off.

    ~DragonHeart~

Update: Killed the Gil Snapper, finally! That thing's been haunting me for the last ten game hours. >.< It was still tough near the end but Haste and Bubble pulled me through. I also killed Atomos, he was easy once I cleared those annoying Vultures.

Now on to rank IV marks!

Or maybe the Bomb King, last time he killed me quick. I really need to reset my gambits but I don't have half the ones I want. =X

I've been hunting around, getting the Gil Snapper and the... Croackadile, was it?, among other things.
That Snapper was a bit tough and I do believe I'm overleveled a little....
But I was finally glad to get out of the rain, since talking to both petitioners, looking for the shriveled tree trunks and finding both hunts took a while.

So, I got all the way to Silika Woods and I called it a night.
I was very happy to see that
    Spoiler:
the Woods are Moogle country, I was wondering if they were going to provide one.

Oh, right, I'm at level 35-36, right now.

Well I didn't have much time today, but I just went on my first trek through the Galmore Jungle story scenes and all with the...
    Spoiler:
    Woot! Vieras!

    .

And since I didn't do it in my last post

    Ashe 24
    Balthier 22
    Fran 22
    Vaan 22
    Penelo 21
    Basch 21

I have to say Offensive magic is NOW starting to come in quite handy.

    My Progess 11.12/Tips

I recently hit 40 hours too. It's pretty fun. I got the Golden Amulet and got ridiculous amounts of LP. I don't really have a main party though ^_^;; Penelo is my white/black mage, Basch is my shield, and Balthier, and Ashe are my melee/support. I have to force myself to use Fran and Vaan, so i gave them each a esper, so i would use them more. But that was ineffective. I got all the quickenings on the board, and now all my characters have their Lv.3. It's SOO much easier with quickenings. Man. Get quickenings ASAP. Also, Magick Potency augment helps a whole lot for your magic characters. Since I'm only Lv.38, i'm gonna start using the 2x XP accessory to gain some levels. It takes a long time later on. Also, if your just starting, find a license board and decide which characters are gonna do what. I knew Penelo was gonna be my magic, and basch would be tank, but everyone else just kind of went different directions. This is not good. lol. So i've started the entire game over after
    Spoiler:
    I left Archades

on my old game. I didnt wanna finish it too fast. Now im gonna get Lv.35 before Vaan even meets Fran/Balthier! and get the Zodiac Spear this time. lol. but idk what to do with my characters. I have a lot of time anyway.

That seems like overreacting to me. You didn't develop a couple characters in a specific way so you'll start over? You could just equip them with Golden Amulets and go chain some skeletons in Lhusu Mines, it's a super easy way to get tons of LP at any level. (The Golmore Jungle is great for this too, plus it gives really nice exp.) Then you can just "fix" whatever it is you don't like.

Personally I feel like I'm not utilizing the full potential of the License Board, but given that it's my first time through, not knowing what is where, I'm not going to worry about it. I'll just catch it the next time when I try for a "perfect" game.

Anyways, last night I progressed to the Feywood, man is that place creepy! Not really sure what I'm supposed to be looking for but I don't mind, it's kind of fun just getting lost every 10 steps.

I might go try some marks, I have one heck of a list going. I tried the Trickster but he was too much for me, I was fine until he decided to make himself immune to physical attacks. >.< Then he went nuts and pwned everyone.

Hmm...I should be able to handle the Antlion now. I was getting my butt handed to me by the Headless in Site 3 but I'm higher level now and have some nice new spells.

The story is really getting interesting though, I want to know what happens! >.< I want to do everything at once lol.
