I personally am planning a somewhat large post. The first half will be as Gai to direct his squad to the second part of the mission, and the second half will be as Kakashi to start the formal training session for my own squad. So yeah, it might be a little while in the making, but it will be before tomorrow I'm fairly sure.
So just hang tight guys, everything's good.
AND SEIG: Please don't edit in some huge fantastic dialogue post now that I've said stuff about it. Mainly cuz I don't want to have to go back and relearn it lol, and because I'm going to post with Kakashi anyway and I don't want to create some plothole.

And guys, I really want to see you guys stop quoting in posts. What I mean is like when one of the instructors or someone says some instructions then everyone quotes almost the entire post paragraph by paragraph and inserts their own responses to every bit of the post.
For example, your last post Kinjozu. Almost every part of you quoting me was unneccesary, you could have just put your own responses in there without em ya know.
I'm not just singling you out though, I've seen it quite a lot. And truthfully it's dreadfully annoying cuz there's absolutely no reason anyone should have to read that stuff more than once, ya know?
So yeah, quit doing it please. I don't mind if you quote a line or two, something that you REALLY wanna respond to and let it be known that your character responded to it, but quit quoting entire paragraphs of posts.

I havent played much, and I only got Vaan to Lvl six as of now. I'm making him go all out thief, with daggers and light armor, but also on the healing magicks as well.

woot!!! my characters are *****n (<<<lol....) awsome. all around lvl 20, each one of them mastered melee, and white magic basics (cure, cura, vox, raise etc...) and from that they branch off into different weapon classes. but think six Aurons that can heal and raise dead, ands two of them are blk magic tanks. (p.s. get the technik "Hourology". it does massive time dammage as much as you want because it doesnt take up any mp at all!!! i think its next to "first aid" on the licence board. damage veries but it can do over 1000 to enemeys round lvl 15.

Good post, Vivi. The battle is progressing nicely. I made my post Attn all, for reasons that I mentioned at the start of it. It's been awhile since I saw the particular episode where they do the water-walking, so I apologize if there is a lack of detail. Realistically though, you all should know what I'm talking about.
Also, someone needs to get in touch with Dante. As you all know, this RP has a minimum posting requirement of once per week. The last time he posted was October 29th, which was just over a week ago. If he's had legitimate reasons for not posting, then that's fine. However, I saw him log onto MSN yesterday (and thought nothing of it until now). So yeah, Lord Storm Bryce, you're buddies with him so ask him what's up. If he's no longer interested then we need to replace him either with an NPC or another person. If he is interested and just can't get to it, maybe you could work a post for him or something.
Ok, we are going to get Koji kidnapped since he wont be online for a while. Is that ok with everyone? Cloud most of all.
Also, Vivi, good post. But I have no idea what to do. I have no idea what happened to my last attack or how he disappeared. Please help me out.

I'd like to be optimistic but from my past experience, once you leave a thread for awhile you leave it for good.
That's ok though. We have a replacement lined up for him, that Kyosen guy. He's a friend of Cloud's but unfortunately isn't able to post much (has a wife and kids and such), so I dunno you guys might have to carry the weight of the third man till we can get an active poster in there.

Well friends, I can't tell, not right now anyway. Cloud and I are working on it currently (and unfortunately it will probably be a few days before we get around to putting it into effect). The only thing I'll say is that well.. you know I'm just not going to say anything. You'll see when we start to post about it.
But yeah the whole mission thing is going a lot differently than we thought it would, and it's obvious that assigning missions to the squads is not going to be enough to sustain the RP. (Good idea at first, but at a slower pace it becomes cumbersome.) So rather than have the squads constantly divided on missions, this may allow for more interesting things seeing as how you won't necessarily only have 2 other people to interact with in your posts.

Also, Mike I'm not sure I understand the mechanics of your post (the water-walking one). I mean, it doesn't quite matter I guess, but I'm not that clear on the whole energy of the water clashing with the energy of the chakra. It seems to me like it might need some explaining. I mean, how would your method differ if the exercise was performed on a still body of water such as a pond or a lake? Like I said it doesn't matter that much, it just confused me a whole lot cuz I don't quite know what you're saying. Anyway, I'm about to post and propose an idea, so you tell me what you think of it.

Seig did you even read LS post ? lol balancing on the waters surface has nothing to do with speed. If that were true you'd have to keep moving constantly at an extreme amount of speed. But we are "walking" on water which is quite a slow process... Re-read lethal's post and youll see that his method completely makes sense. You might want to re-do your post too it just seems like you didn't even read his post at all.
Well, the post was OK, but I think you know the question I'm going to ask you Seig. How do you stand still on the water with that method? Certainly you've noticed in the show that they are very rarely in constant motion on the water.
I mean, your theory is good and I know the lizards and stuff you're talking about in it, but it doesn't entirely address the scenario and doesn't quite solve the problem.
And as a side note, the only reason I propsed my method to be the "right" method is because it's the only one Cloud and I could come up with that made some sort of sense in regards to real-world physics and such. I realize real-world physics are a bit obscure here, especially in an RP where something like chakra is present, but you gotta think about these things.
