My mom died. Someone please tell me this isn't real.
My desk is more like a trash can and less like a desk right now. Instead of reaching over and putting candy and granola bar wrappers in my trash can, I just put them in front of my keyboard. I have like thirty peppermint candy wrappers, five or six granola bar wrappers, and notes of phone numbers that my brother has to call covering my desk. I can still see what I may need to get to (checkbook, PS2, speakers), but I just don't feel like taking a few seconds and cleaning it off. ...
And it's all because the cold weather. It just makes my days seem to go on and on. I did manage to get a good chunk of it to go by by playing Fallout 3. I spent quite a long time on that, only to have the game freeze on me right when I freed Fawkes. I don't know when the last Auto-Save was, since I didn't bother to check. It was 1am when my brother finally got back home. He didn't stick around long enough to tell me anymore than he did before, since he was tired and wanted to get some sleep. When we woke up this morning, he wasn't here long either. He threw the last two pieces of firewood in the wood stove, but didn't stay long enough to get the thought to help bring in more.
