Okey-dokey! So, it snowed again today. That was fun. I was lucky enough to only have to go outside to feed the animals and bring in firewood. My brother checked the mail today, meaning I didn't have to. However, I made up for it by sliding ten feet before falling on my face while out getting firewood. Yeah, so that was enjoyable. Everything before that was perfect okay. I worked. I played. I had chili dogs for lunch. I am almost out of peppermint candy. I ...
My brother is leaving here in a couple of hours to go pick up a load and get back to work. And it'll just be me and my dad. I'm a nervous wreck. I know how my dad can be. He likes to insult me and talk shit constantly about how much of a f*ck up I am even though I'm the only one that bothers calling on a regular basis and I'm the only one willing and able to come and stay with him. My sister has to go back to her job & her life & my brother has to do the same while I have ...
I honestly don't feel bad for my brother or this situation he's in. He's becoming physically sick from the stress he's in, but he's the one staying in that toxic relationship he's in. And he won't listen to anyone, so no one has even tried to talk to him. The only thing I can do is put my foot down when the next phone bill arrives. If he wants to spend hours each weeks on the phone, he will have to pay what he already owes on it. I keep the phone in service because it is easier to people to ...
I woke up at 9:20am this morning. It's a good thing too, because I went to check on any updates for the Osu! Challengers Tournament and found out that I read the time wrong for my match. I thought it said 3pm my time, especially since the tournament organizer is in the same timezone as I am. But it was 3pm UTC, which is 10am Eastern Standard Time. So I didn't get to practice at all for the tournament, because I had to report in the tournament room. It was then that I was told that my training ...
So, tomorrow is the big tournament. Well, it's not too big, since there's only five players in my group. Which means that I have a 20% chance of winning. That's good, because if I was in the Expert tournament, I would have less than 1% of winning. I like 20% a lot more than 1%. But now, the nerves are kicking in. I have never played a video game competitively before, and I am really nervous. I know some of you have played competitively before, so any advice you can spare before 3pm tomorrow ...
