I'm still in Texas.

BF bought me a plane ticket to fly from DFW to LaGuardia for last weekend, but he's not very bright and booked a 5 a.m. flight. -__-; And because my Dad is partially paralyzed on the left side, he can't drive by himself.. We couldn't find anyone to go with us to help him drive, so I had to miss the flight altogether.. The airline wouldn't transfer my ticket even with my situation (and telling them that I found a flight out of Nashville for even cheaper than the ...

Mom called today, just like she said she would in her letter. I could tell from her voice that she was happy to be coming home. It was nice to hear her voice. She said that she received her release papers and other things today. Since Monday is a holiday, she got it all today, and it also explains the 7am release as well. Normally, they wait until the afternoon, I guess. Anyway, she was only on for a couple minutes. It is really nice to think that in only about 60 hours my Mom will finally ...

Well, I guess really is more like 3.5 days, since Mom will be here before noon on Monday. The plan is still that my brother and sister will be going to get her. My brother's reinstatement fee was processed today, so I have been told that he is a legal driver again. I didn't do anything to prepare for Mom's return today, because I have spent most of my time at home today sleeping.

Work today really worked me. I was finished at the usual winter time (about 1pm), but the cold temperature ...

This evening my brother and I discussed Mom coming home some. Well, it started out like that. I had to dig through my desk for her last letter, because my brother needed to know what time to be at the prison to get her. It looks like my brother and sister will be going to get her now. And depending on the weather, they may be making a stop in Xenia (some place in Ohio that I have never been, but I do know that there was a really bad tornado to go through there in the 70s) to get some stuff taken ...
