There came a point a couple of years ago when I was very disappointed in new music today. Nothing good seemed to be coming out, and everything new sounded like everything old. It was at about this point that I decided that I would buy almost exclusively new music each year, and try to find some diamonds in the rough, and then put them into a playlist labeled the corresponding year.

P came over this morning.. I wasn't feeling that great again so we sat in bed and watched tv.. I kinda fell asleep, but I woke back up when she grabbed a blanket and covered me up. And then we talked about my dad's birthday and she suggested we have a surprise party for him when we go to Texas.

She even found a picture of my dad holding her when she was younger and asked if we could get a picture frame for it, give it to him and bake a cake with my mom that she can decorate herself. ...

I appreciate my brother asking, but when have I ever had to work on a Saturday? It's not like it would have made a difference if I had said yes, because he wouldn't have cared. This is the fourth night in the last week! Just because I don't have to work the next day does not mean that I want to hear (or smell) her. It's not like I could fight back by bringing someone here as my guest, because most likely it would be welcomed as me finally ...

I get a lot of questions about where I went to highschool (not on here really, but in general) and I always find myself stunned. There's too much to cover in a few sentences. However, for his graduation project, my best friend did a retrospective video about our school. So, to help me organize what to say when people ask, and to kind of keep a reminder of where I've been, I'll make this post.

The storm arrived later than forecast. Instead of the storm being over by the time I would leave for work, it didn't start until right before I left and lasted until right before I was finished working. In fact, I actually had to stop working because it was raining so much that it was difficult to see and ride the bike.
