Just saw the post on Facebook, Distant Worlds is going to be back in Boston this October. So psyched! It was fantastic the last time, and it'll be even better this year. Why? Because Nobuo will be there. <3 If there was one song I wish they would play, it's The Darkness of Eternity, aka Kuja's Trance battle theme. Boston Symphony Hall has one of those mad old giant organs, it would be so epic. I don't know if they've gotten permission/licensing for it though. Sigh. Probably stuck ...
This morning I woke up my brother at 5:25am to get him ready to take me to the office. The bike that I was to use as a substitute was not in the office. I sent a text message to Misty, and she replied to get the bike at her house. The bike I used was in great condition. It's a pity that it doesn't get used more often. A bike that nice deserves to be out and about, not sitting in a garage collecting dust. On Monday, I plan to tell her that if she wants to get rid of it I will buy it. I could ...
I can't say that I'm heartbroken. Because I guess, deep down, that's something I've always been - regardless of any situation in my life. My brother and sister got to see my dad race back when he raced Sprint Cars. All I get are stories of all that. By the time I came around, my parents were ...
Not all the time, but every cat is one at least some of the time. Case in point, Connor, who's having issues with a mouth infection, has been very grumpy lately. He was sitting with me earlier today while I wasn't even doing anything, just browsing like usual. All of a sudden he flips out and smacks me in the face with his paw. Claws out. Got me right in the corner of the eye, right above my eyelid. That shit hurts, man. And bleeds. A lot. It's been hours and it's still ...
I have two things somewhere between Chicago and my house. The first is my new bike. It started its journey in Chicago, and is currently near Columbus, Ohio. I was really hoping that it would be here today. But it isn't here. It's in the same place my PS3 was the day before it arrived. I tried to find out a general time it will be here tomorrow based on the time my PS3 arrived. But eBay doesn't keep records of shipping longer than a few months. If I knew what time it would arrive, I could ...
