Today I woke up feeling horrible, just like what you had actually, a stomach virus. I called in work because I knew I couldn't be any use there today like this. I feel bad because there's a bit of work to finish today and I've got 3 days off due to public holidays and an rdo. I asked my supervisor if I could work on my rdo on Monday to make up for it and he said, 'That's no help to me I need you today'. I understand it's annoying for him but have some compassion jerk. Sometimes I think he'd react that way even if I had cancer. *sigh* as you said you can't help it if you're ill. I didn't plan to be sick.

Staggering enemies is the exact same as it was in XIII, nothings has changed. The battle system itself is pretty much the same, they just made a few additions. Most battles should only last 10-20 seconds depending on number of enemies. With the added bonus of getting the drop on them, it is possible to end the battle in a few seconds. The combat is as it always has been, knowing the right strategy.

Do keep in mind that Atelier Totori is the second game in the series. It is stand alone in that it isn't a sequel or anything. But it does take place in the same region of the world. So characters from the first Rorona appear. It's nothing terrible, but just a heads up that there may be things that you will miss or not understand that the game makes a little obvious.

While you may not be interested, there are other games in the Atelier series on the PS2. But they are paced differently than the Arland series of Atelier games. The Atelier Iris games and Mana Khemia play a fair bit differently, but if you enjoy sprite based games, they are worth it.

I'm actually working on Platinum'ing Totori in my spare time. So I'll be playing it more, at least until XIII-2 is out. Enjoy Neptunia.

Found out today that the EU release for Mk2 is Feb 24. So you are getting it about the same time as we are. At least in the US it get a Mature rating, but that's only because they had some dialogue lines that were a little too much for a Teen rating. The core of the game is still the same silliness with video games.

Atelier Totori is amazing though and there are a bunch of different endings for each character and Totori as a few of her own. Plus I cried at least a few times playing it. It is such a beautiful looking game and a lot of fun to play. But it is a slice of life RPG, not a epic journey. Totori has a goal and a journey, but there is a lot of other stuff that happens.

Anyway, Hyperdimension Neptunia was tons of fun to play. It makes a lot of video game jokes through out, so if you enjoy a story that is light and just having a lot of fun doing it, then it is a good game. The combat system is built up from Trinity Universe and Cross Edge, but has the unique twist that you construct your own combos. You unlock skills and then plug them into specific buttons for a specific combo. And it literally lists all of the possible combinations possible with the four face buttons. So combat is like those past games, but colored a little different. The enjoyable thing about the game was that aside from a couple of things I needed help with I 100% the game without a walkthrough on my own effort. Which is pretty unusual these days for me, but it is constructed in a way that was addictive and easy to actually 100% without it actually feeling like a heavy chore.

I don't know how much 15 pounds equals in US dollars, but I would say that is a perfectly reasonable price. Plus playing the game will get you ready for Mk2 that is coming out in February here, I don't know when it is getting an EU release.

I got Skyrim four weeks ago (Or more like were borrowing it from a friend) and the PS3 version isn't the only one with graphical glitches and such. But its still a really good game though. Also, guess what I got? FF13! Omg, I love Lightning! Hope is a whiny little bitch >.>.
