We *had* a new member who was sparking up the forum, but apparently, she left for quite a while... And last July, we had a wonderful member who signed up and really brightened up the forum. Have you heard of him yet?

No, it has an alphabet, but it's the reading that I'm slow with. Actually, sometimes I pronounce things wrong, too, since there are three "branches" to our language - three different ways to talk with different accents.

Actually, I'm better with English than i am with my first language. i can't read or write it quite that well, but I can speak it fluently.

Yeah, I always check the old coins. On another note, my dad bought a copy of War and Peace that dated back to the time of Hitler! It still has the manual in it, too. We don't know if it's worth something or not, but it's almost 70 years old, according to the book.

Do you have any other languages? I think it's good enough if you can have a decent conversation with someone without using a dictionary. That would be considered fluency, right?

You gathered together 1000 pennies? Look at the dates I had a 1944 penny yesterday, and I found out that it was actually the 1943 penny that was rare. Guess how mad I got?

My dad told me about that story. Apparently, the guy wanted to test it out, mostly on himself, because he wasn't willing to risk any lives, but his assistant told him to inject it on him, since the doctor guy was so important. And thank God it worked!^^

Up until last year, I had no idea that a vaccine was injecting the actual virus into you. My reaction when I found out was, "Are they trying to kill me?"

It's only a light jab. I think it hurts more after the injection, when the medicine starts taking effect; it stings!
