I'm not so sure; I'll have to do some research on that, but I'm guessing it's because tri-Ace is such an uncommonly noticed company that they worked with Square so that they'll attract more customers. I know that I first played it because of Square Enix being on the covers.

Not to sound weird, but I imagine the everyday xD I daydream about a life I wish I was living all the time. I have 1, 4, 6 and 7. I moved a while back and lost the other ones v-v. I am gonna get them again. I am constantly reading them. Those books just.. take me to a new world every time I pick one up :3. I'm that much of a fan. >_>. I like then name tri-Ace, too! But it's not so famous. That's why Star Ocean is not published by tri-Ace but by Square Enix.

Don't worry about it; being new isn't so hard when everybody but a select few are so nice! Take Kilala for example: a few days, but she already made her presence known!
