I've been gone recently for some Army training, which will allow me to set explosives on IEDs and detonate them in place, given they fit certain limitations. This way, we won't have to wait for EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal, basically the military bomb squad) to come deal with them, so that might save us four, six, even eight or ten hours per IED we find.

As for going back "home" ... I'm going overseas again. And while most people would think that Soldiers go to war for a year, then come back home, most of us don't. Most combat Soldiers, anyway. It becomes our family, it becomes our job, it becomes our life. War becomes "home". So we don't go to war, then go home -- we go to war, then leave "home" to come back to the States. And damn, am I looking forward to going back "home".

I honestly have no clue.

I study Business Administration up at my university. It was kind of a "not really sure what I want to do with my life but it's a broad enough major so I can do whatever" decision haha, but surprisingly, the school I go to is one of the best business ones in the nation so it all worked out. I have 2 years until I get my batchelor's degree, and after that my university has a 1.5 year M.B.A. program (your version of an honours I think?), so I'll just stay in school and get my masters. No moving across the country to study, no kids to feed, bills to pay, women to marry, and the economy is still bad so what better time to get it then now, right?

At least now I kind of have a better idea of what I want to do though, for my masters I'll end up emphasising in healthcare. At first I wanted to do some kind of pharmaceutical rep job, but after watching a documentary about people just pushing drugs for profit regardless of illness or need, it really turned me off to that kind of job. I mean yeah, I'm kind of superficial and want to make money just as much as the next guy, but to me that's crossing the ethical boundaries of taking advantage of the unaware. If anything, I want to have a job of working with special needs kids and adults, like a CEO position of what I am doing now.

If that fails, I can always go into real estate hahaha. My parent's friend makes six figures without a college degree selling houses, and she said "the door is open anytime," so I still have a plan B!

I think that's really cool on what you want to do with your human geography degree. I can't remember exactly what it entails you to do but I remember reading a convo from you and Govinda about it and how you can use it to help out people in third world countries by being their advocate of sorts. +respect.

I can't wait to be back in college, so facking bored working/getting schwasted every day. Can't believe I'm saying it, but the truth hurts. How are ya?
