your favourite japanese movie?

i didnt know what happened...after i watched that movie i got freaked out and kept thinking the "cat boy" is going appear beside my bed. i cant seem to forget his dark unhuman eyes and the way he acts. i know it sounds dumb rite? but no kidding it freaked me out the whole month. definitely kept me captiviated from beginning to the end of the month....didnt really know why...

That is why I love Japanese and Korean horror so much more than Hollywood ones- they are bloody eerie! They also don't have the predictable storyline with a "happily ever after" ending either. I guess I just have a passion for the sinister side of film!

Good thing it's not any asian films in general (although harder for choice) as I think I'd have chose between Battle Royale and Oldboy or one of the others from the Vengeance trilogy (Korean).

Yeah if it was Asian in general, then the whole Vengence trilogy would be up in my choices too. Tale of Two Sisters too. Tale of Two Sisters is probably my all-time favorite film.
