    Anyone played Daxter on PSP?
I realised I loved to play it for some reason. And then it hit me. IT RIPS OFF SUPER MARIO SUNSHINE AND ONLY LACKS THE ONE THING I HATED ABOUT SUPER MARIO SUNSHINE! The graffiti.

But yeah, both feature a tool with a limited jetpack function and a weapon and are 3-D platformers. They have their differences, but a lot of the gameplay mechanics felt quite similar to me...
    Anyone else notice?

I have played Daxter on PSP. I really only got it because it was cheap. But it did turn out to be a lot better then I expected. It's quirky and it was a lot of fun to play. But yeah, I did notice that as well. It does have its similarities.

Oh, I bought Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness. It was our only copy and it was on hold for someone xD. But I got it. ^^. It is very popular.

I also got Bleach: Shattered Blade for the Wii which was incredibly easy.. =[

No discussions? That's fairly odd, so I am going to go ahead and say that I have more-less gotten a Wii and have been playing the bloody hell outa it,and hopefully will be making banners again soon for the worshippage! Just gotta get a decent photo editor again.

Ah, Wiis are a lot of fun. My whole family likes to play mine. Which I guess sometimes can be a little bit of a nuisance but it is still awesome <3

I have been waiting for someone to post here in a while because I didn't want to post twice. =/

Where have all the Nintendo Worshippers gone ^^'?

No idea, I return to the forum and nobody posts here much anymore : /.

Anyways, yeah, Wii's are awesome, though, I wish they had a bit more support from third party developers. Nintendo made a bold move not going for an expensive console, instead trying to make one that was innovative, and people recognized that and bought it, only to have third party creators go "uh, what do I do with it?"

    /end rant

Anyways, I have to admit I am not a complete worshipper as of late, Soul Calibur 4 came out and I have been playing it a lot... on the 360 because there isn't a Wii version .

I am sure they will all come back in due time =]

Yeah, oh how I love the Wii. But I wish they would pump out more quality titles. I find myself playing my others consoles more then my Wii. My poor Wii is missing out on it's Wii-love.

What new Nintendo games are you excited about?

I wish some of the 360 games weren't so addictive because my 360 is dead and I can't play them =[

Yeah, no quality, only quantity right now it seems, though I am looking forward to the thing that is supposed to help improve the sensitivity of the Wiimote, that was a major issue with me, I wished that the Wiimote was a LOT more sensitive to movements. I can't really think of any Wii games I am really looking forward to though, as sad as that sounds. E3 was a bust when it came to Nintendo for me. I love Nintendo, I love Miyamoto, but third party support is non-existant, and for some reason, Nintendo seems hell bent on making party games. I like party games and all, but it's starting to get a little ridiculous, which may be the reason for the lack of activity here.

Also, I noticed something peculiar about E3... no handhelds? I mean, I don't sit on my couch, going "come on, where are the handheld titles?!" but I do look for them in the mix, and E3 seemed to be missing them, it was all about the home consoles :/. That on top of lack of attendance (this was possibly the worse E3 attendance record since when it first started) I am almost prone to say "E3 has finally died". I think it comes from the fact that nobody aside from developers and video game media are allowed in anymore, it kills the buzz. I just hope E3 comes to its senses and re-opens to the public.

Anyways, I am sorry for the long drawn out buzzkill, but I am just really disappointed by Nintendo this year. No Legend of Zelda (that I know of), no Fire Emblem, no new consoles (even though the handheld cycle is almost up), a whole lot of... nothing from Nintendo.

I have issues with the Wii remote as well. For some games such as Dragon Quest: The Masked Queen and The Tower of Mirrors.. I just can't get my Wii remote to respond to my actions probably or speedy enough to go from an attack to a block. It makes me prefer games where there is less movement and that really does defeat the purpose of the Wii. So I do hope they do something about that.

I am a big fan of hand helds. For some reason, a lot of games I want are put on them. So, I own a lot of DS games in particular. But I am not one to play a DS over a console. So they don't get played very often.

That's ohkay I think that is effecting everyone.

Aren't the Wii getting a lot of games going to neither PS3 nor 360?
I'm just thinking in terms of what I see on the shelves locally, the Wii has a ton of games not on any of the other next-gen consoles, whereas many of the games appear on both the PS3 and 360. It makes buying a Wii almost critical to some serious gamers who have either a 360 or PS3, yet want a wider variety of games.

And yeah, I've been bitching about the wii-mote myself for some time. My main issues are that the gamecube controller was one of the greatest controllers for me in terms of comfort (it was even the right size) whereas the wiimote and most add-ons for it seem to be made for smaller hands and get really uncomfortable for me after playing a decent amount. There's also that sometimes the motion sensing seems to play up on some games which can get annoying, but so far it seems a rarity.

As for portable titles, I seem to be a bit sick of them for the while. I just had one of those phases where I was playing nothing but the DS/PSP, and after I got my 360 elite, I just haven't been able to stop playing TV-based consoles. It doesn't help that several of the NES classics I grew up with have been ported to xbox live arcade....

The Wii does seem to be getting a lot of games exclusively to itself. But I have not found any of those games to stand out. Sure one or two are on my to buy list. But there is always something better that stands out.

I prefer the TV consoles to handhelds.. mainly for the controller and the big screen.. but mainly of the games I like end up being on handhelds. Which is irratating to say the least. Especially with Nintendo pumping out all the DS games. There are some gems in there ><.

Well, my inactivity hasn't been the only one, looks like. I come back and I find maxpower has been banned, I think o.o, and on top of that, no activity for over a month. Well *attempts to kickstart conversation* Have you all seen the "new" DSi? I love that they finally added storage, about fuggin' time IMO. But, they didn't add too much more than that, looks like. A camera, made it smaller (thinner), and the screens are a touch bigger. Whilst they removed the GBA slot (not cool Nintendo, no GBA Fire Emblem). While, I do love the addition of memory storage, I don't feel it's a convincing enough reason to re-buy a DS, personally. What does everyone else think of this?

Oh, and before I end this post, HOLY CRAP, I THOUGHT THEY WEREN'T GOING TO BRING IT HERE, TO THE STATES, BUT THEY ARE, FIRE EMBLEM 1 REMAKE, IT'S FINALLY HITTING OUR SHORES, ALL REJOICE!

Haha, sorry, I had to get that outa my system.

    ~Kaiser Dragoon

P.S. This thread is getting worse for inactivity than OSCOK, that's pretty bad, though I see they knocked up activity by a lot since I used to post here frequently.

Yeah, I heard about the DSi. People at work were making a big deal out of it. Personally i'm not ready to let my DS Lite go yet. I love it to bits and even though I probably will by a DSi.. it will take a lot of persuasion.

Is the DSi going to replace the Lites or just be alongside.. I have heard both ways. Will they take the same games. I have heard some people argueing they will and some people argueing they won't so that confuses me a little.

Wow, a remake. I havn't played it.. so if it gets a release I will surely pick it up =]

Ah, the DSi plays DS games and supposedly "some specific titles made for the DSi". Also, they have a download service like the Wii, where you can download programs for $0-10 bucks, that includes games. Now, what I expect will be the case is that some of the "expansion slot" games, stuff that needs peripherals connected to said slot, will be unplayable in the DSi (the only one I can think of that >REQUIRES< an expansion slot peripheral though, is Guitar Hero: On Tour). Now, while that is a big deal for some, the DSi exclusives, it's not a deal breaker for me, and personally, if I were a third party developer, I would stick with the tried and true DS/lite. We'll have to see what comes of it, because, I too, am not quite willing to part with my DS lite just yet.

The DSi will cost ¥18,900, or, $179 bucks when it launches, so, if my intuition is correct, it will be sold along side the DS lite to keep sales going.

Yeah, it's a remake of a remake, truth be told. The original hit the NES in Japan only, then they remade it and brought it to the SNES, yet again, Japan only, and then, now, they released it in Japan for the DS, and they have it slated for the US (thankfully). Now I just have to sit and wait. Also, it's Turn Based Strategy+ RPG, so, it won't probably appeal to everyone, but I absolutely adore those type of games (Disgaea, FFT, Fire Emblem, etc.).

Anyways, Pizza is done, and I am quite famished.

OH. THAT SOUNDS WONDERFUL. I am really into those games so I am definately going to pick it up now.

Well, that's what I wasn't sure about.. if there would be some games only going to be on the DSi which would be rather annoying because I really don't want to upgrade to a new DS just yet when there are so many games coming out I still want to play and I don't feel like the DS is outdated in any way. Sure all the new additions are good.. but they arn't making me feel like I won't live without them or that they warrent a new DS. Maybe that is just me though.

I suppose it's about time I joined this club. I do love my Wii and Virtual Console.

    So yes, I am applying.

Top five games (subject to change, of course):
    1) Zelda: Twilight Princess
    2) Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance
    3) Zelda: Ocarina of Time
    4) Super Mario World
    5) Super Mario Bros.

    That was hard.

    Until now!

Hmm, sounds solid enough Jin . maxpower has been banned (see TFF listed as an attack site, in one of the other things) sooo, I dunno how we're gonna let new members in, we might possibly re-create the thread, pending approval by Sheena, or whatever the name of the moderator is now. It'll be nice to have another Oldskool onboard though, Jin.

As for Deathbringer, it needs to be your top 5 Nintendo exclusive titles, try and revise your list and we'll reconsider your titles. Also, might I suggest posting a bit more in the forums? I think a little while ago, the leader of Nintendo Worshippers made a rule that you had to have 50 posts or something like that...

Priscilla, I hear you 100%, I will say, it would probably be best to just wait until a new handheld comes out, as this one runs on the same technology, basically. Plus, we don't have to worry about the DSi at the US until March '09 I thinks.

    ~Kaiser Dragoon

    EDITATION !

Okay, well, I messaged Sheena, and she gave us the OK to remake the club, it will be the same, even the front page, but doing this for convenience of being able to add members and having active members running the club.

I need the active members, all... 3 of us, to aye or nay this, because I don't want to do it without anyone's consent.

Yeah. I think it is a good idea. It will enable us to accept new members and then we will in turn have more active members then just three. It couldn't hurt

Ah, Well then I will be waiting a little longer for it maybe. Depending on delays to Aussieland. Which is usually always the case. PAL is so annoying. I wish I lived with NTSC. That would be fantastic.

I haven't posted in here for a while since I was taking a break but it sounds like a great idea to me. Hopefully then the club will be a bit more active.

Maxpower got banned? Wow, I didn't even know that. =\

I agree Cilla, PAL is really annoying. We always get things last and it sucks. Australia seems to be slow with a lot of stuff though.

It's never made sense to me why everything can't come out at the same time regardless of where you are, but perhaps that's why I'm not taking business. One thing I definitely don't get: virtual console release dates. Why? Why did PAL get Megaman last year and it took all that time for North America to get it? Other questions can be asked in the reverse too. It makes no sense. When will people learn?

Anyways, a new thread makes no difference to me, although it's probably a moot point as I joined about 3 days ago. =P

    Current Nintendo Happenings:
Playing through Ocarina of Time again via Virtual Console. Looooove that game. I never noticed how basic the puzzles are in comparison to Twilight Princess though. I'm also sporadically playing Brawl, Wii Kart and No More Heroes again.

    Cheers.

    Until now!

Not only do we get things last we sometimes don't get them at all! Because some businesses believe there is not enough money to be made out of Australia or the fact that some games have to be seriously altered to be released. Like all the blood in no more heros is meant to be replaced with coins in Australia. the short of it is that we need an R rating to allow more games into Australia, doing this might even encourage more places to release a game here that could have been anyway. like how Rock Band didn't come, tools!.

Alright, as soon as I make this post, this is the end of this thread, I am (hoping) that our moderators will close it and put it into the cleft of dimension, where all of our good memories go, and usher in a new rebirth of the Worshipers!
