I signed up like a few days too late last time. Grr.... Anyhow, I definately need this more than anyone else here so...... Yeah.....

Actually, if I'm not mistaken (and I'm not), you refused to participate because the tournament's restrictions forced people to use Asian characters. Your response actually seemed rather racist. It was a bad first impression I had of you because of that.

I was initially interested, but I think that the fact that everyone has to be Asian is bush. Not everyone wants to be Asian. Me especially. Certain small details like that should be subject to change. If this is an RPG than their should be room for wanderers or outcasts, not necessarily Asian. Sorry to rant, but I'm just saying you may lose some participants because of this reason. Me being one of them. Don't take this personally, just giving my opinion.

Of course, first impressions are merely that, so don't read too far into any of this. My point is that my opinion has changed -- that's a good thing.


In any case, I'm open to suggestions from all sides, but the ultimate theme (if there even is one, who knows?) will be up to me and Spike. We won't be able to please everyone, but all input is welcome. And don't worry... you won't be forced to be any specific ethnicity this time.

I realize now that this post may seem like a provocation, but trust me when I say it wasn't meant to be one. My sense of humor (or lack thereof) works in odd ways when I'm incredibly tired. I also realize that I could just as easily delete this post, but that would be like saying "hey, I never said that!" which... would be incredibly ironic, considering the nature of this post to begin with. In any case, I just wanted to clear that up before any potential problems arose. It is, quite literally, as the fine print states: a sarcastic statement.

In any case, as I also previously mentioned, any and all ideas are welcome. As for me, I've got a post scribbled out in a notebook I need to start typing. Hooray?

OH YEAH! Ok, we are both somewhat correct in this specific situation, if my memory serves me well. I believe I joined and then posted that, was inactive for an excessive amount of time, and then became more involved when it was too late for me already. I remember being slightly upset though, and I didn't mean to be racist, sorry for that impression. I just didn't want to join if that was necessary, for two separate reasons. (Perhaps, this will clear up any leftover negativity.)

1) My personal character preference for RPing and RPBing happens to be inhuman-like characters. Creatures, Beasts, Sub-Humans; you catch my drift, I'm sure.

2) I'm not Asian. Don't take this the wrong way, I have no problem with people of any other race, I just feel that, if it be necessary I play as a human, I would mostly prefer to be one of my own race. It's so I can relate to the character more, and it normally leads to better writing, on my part.

Anyways, i look forward to this ToA and shall participate in it to the best of my ability.
