It's a bit pointless to have someone else do it after Loco apparently already has everything completed. Can't he just tell us who won and get it over with, then post up the rest later.

I think we're all starting to lose a little patience with this by now...

Well, I just sent him a comment letting him know to just say who won to get it over with, and the why could be shown later. I think at this point, the why doesn't even really matter anymore.

It matters to those of us who partake in these battles for no reason other than to write, and have our writing read. To learn who has won, but to not be told the reasons - to me, that is a shallow victory. To be told one has lost, and be bereft of cause - that is a bitter loss.

But I understand that some of us are eager to just hear the verdict and be done with it. If that is what is to be done, nothing I say can change it.

From the last message he gave me (prior to me asking about who won), I believe he's currently in the hospital as I type this, hence why his arm is screwed. Either that or I'm misunderstanding his comment.

I mean no disrespect to Loco at all, but perhaps it would have been better for all if he had arranged to have us informed of this prior to it occurring. I'm not self-centred enough to blame him for his lack of contact in light of this information, I just feel that this entire ordeal has been brought about through simple lack of clear communication.

Having to work through middle-men doesn't help, but in this case it can't be avoided. Now that I know what is going on, I'm happy to wait until Loco is able to post/find someone to post. But that's just me - I know there are a lot of people who won't be happy to wait.

If needs must, let the long awaited verdict be cried out unto the very vaults of the heavens. Reasons can wait, even though they're the only thing I want to see.

I got bored of sitting at my computer and hitting refresh, so I went to see the 3D version of Beowulf. I wouldn't call it a "good" movie, but I would most certainly call it an "enjoyable" one. The 3D effect enhanced it all the more.

And now I must loot the kitchen in search of mead, to honour my Nordic ancestry.

Aw man. I guess that's out. I'll just go play Portal then. If you haven't played it yet, I highly recommend you do so. I want my cake!

Well, I don't like to brag...well, maybe a little. ;p

We got a Wii with some games, I got a digital tablet, some pajamas, a nice new blanket that is so awesomely cozy and warm XD, candy, an MP3 player, a PS2(I can finally play all my PS2 games again!) and DDR Supernova 2.

Oh, and a little desk lamp and the 2 disc special edition Pirates 3 DVD. :x

Merry belated Christmas (Super-Commercial-Holiday-of-Much-Overspending)

I'm afraid I sold out, and got an iPod (Classic [6th Gen], 80GB) this year. Paid for half of it myself. Dranz' went and bought me a DS, despite my assurances that she didn't need to get me anything, and if she were to buy something, to not spend too much. In a break from years-long tradition, I didn't get *any* clothes this year - not even a pair of socks! I don't know whether to be amused or annoyed. The one year I actually need them, and...

I was kind-of hoping that we'd get a really nice present from Loco. Ah well.

Yeah, I had fun with it, but the little plastic mat that came with it is so annoying! When I move back home I'm definately going to invest in getting at least one nice metal dance pad. They are so much better.

I told him of the ideas that some people had of having him have someone do it on his computer for him, but his computer was at home cause he didn't bring it with him, and also because everything on his computer is password protected. With many different passwords. >_>;

So sometime today, the results will be up. They are in fact mostly done. This is what he has told me.

I have a bit of a request for those of you who are musically talented.

I'm going to start working on making a game with RPG Maker VX when it comes out and would like to have original music to use rather than the generic music that comes with the game. I don't know if any of you have ever worked with making Midi files or things like that, but I would really appreciate some help with this. If you can help, post here or PM me and I'll give you more details as to what type of music I am looking for.

Also feel free to ask me any other questions you may have on this subject.

This may be a little off topic, but after playing Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn these last few days, I've come to realize that I really want to RP again.

I sorta stopped the progress on my RP project, but if anyone else has any ideas on one to start, I'd really appreciate it. I really hope if we do start one in the near future though, that it won't end up dying like the last few...

EDIT: Actually, scratch that. I'm gonna start working on starting one and hopefully I'll have it up by next Friday.

Well, I'm still working on a bit of the details for the story, but most of the other stuff is already done.

I was going to try and post it up this past Friday, but I ran into some problems with the story... but now I'm not sure when I'll be posting it, especially not until the judgement is finished because I'm afraid a bad outcome of the war will cause some people to no longer want to post here...

But I guess we'll just have to wait and see...
