Not much to update with me. Very sick. I hate it. I should be spending more time on Photoshop, or perhaps on ImageReady finishing up that avatar, but I have a dirty little secret... I've become re-addicted to Sims 2. Of course, that'll fade once I'm done building this town. I started a new neighborhood from scratch and I've already put together six houses, ten families, and three community lots.

...yes, I already know I'm crazy. I think I'm gonna create some skins for our favorite old skool FF characters though, so at least I'll be doing something productive with my time.

I really hate being sick, how about you guys? I mean, sheesh.

and yes loco, being sick sucks a lot. heh, i remember when I was addicted to the sims...that only lasted about a week or 2, after that it got quite boring. The only fun part was the builing itself....and making the people's lives horrible>.

If anyone was interested, do not buy full metal alchemist. it can be beeten in 3 weeks at the absolute most. it was fun, but I beet it in 15 hours! what a waste of 50 bucks >.<

Ahh well, I been gaming like mad so I'll use that as an excuse for now I finished Half-Life 2 simply enough (I always start games on Easy, to get a feel of it.. then up the difficulty) and now I'm juggling my time between Hentai, Beer, Carmageddon 2, [Insert 10 roms here], Final Fantasy XI, Final Fantasy IV and writing up articles from that Retro Magazine I recently aquired. And heres a stunning little fact to note down;

That Zelda 64 game, made more money then any hollywood film over the christmas break when it was released.

I'm also writing up a "Videogame Timeline" thing that they have up for the viewing.. Ive done 1879 -> 1986 so far and I've got about 3 pages to go blah.

Anyway, Jin, another game to play if you like those uber-short RPG's. Sudeki for the Xbox. Damned good game, great frickin storyline, cute female characters with anime proportions (counts for something, doesn't it? ), however...be warned, and I don't feel bad about revealing this at all. The ending blows. Like uber-blows...I could've made a better ending. I've thought of several, on multiple occasions. Other than that, damned good game, despite only being about 16 or 18 hours long (if you go straight through) and only being able to level up to 30.

BTW, not having a PS2 or even working PS1 sucks to be me right now...I can't play any of my PS collection...which only spans about 35 or 40 games...including my FF's, DDR, Gran Turismo, Mega Man X series (GAHHH!!!) or anything else that isn't on Cube or Xbox...and with the comp down, I can't play my DDR emulator, Rollercoaster Tycoon, Counter-Strike, or anything else like that...this blows!!! [/rant]

Or you could go get Fable. I have no shame in spoiling this one, either, because there IS no story. Biggest waste of money Chad's dad ever knew. (Because yes, he's addicted to the XBox. That's the only way I play these days.) Seriously, you pay $50 for a really fancy way to customize a character. If you want that level of customization, get a fucking notepad and a pencil and draw something yourself.

That game got its ass handed to it in four hours. You wanna know the most glorious thing? You know how they advertise it as "every choice [having] a consequence"? BULLSHIT. All that does is determine whether or not people like you. In the end, the game comes down to a simple choice: kill your sister, or destroy the sword. If you destroy it, you get the good ending. If you kill your sister, you get the evil one.

Four hours of your life goes down the drain. I mean, shit, if they're gonna make you pay fifty bucks for a game, the least they could have done is supply you with thirty some-odd endings which are decided upon a point total at the end of the game, where the points are given/deducted based upon your actions.

You know what irks me the most? A lot of people actually love that game. Because they're motherfucking new schoolers, and it's pretty.

In other news, ive been addicted to bloody Donkey Kong for the past few weeks which is why i havn't been on here for ages xD Got DK county and what ever the second one is on SNES, finished them both so just HAD to go borrow a 64 and play DK3D or whatever it's called. I think my b/f is getting pissed off cuz im playing 64 more than im spending time with him O_O''

yeah, I was a bit dissapointed with fable as well. There was just not as many choices as I thought there would be. =/ Oh well, not my money lol.
