Like RhapsoBlarg, my father and I too have 'the face'. Perhaps we are distantly related.

My father gets it much much worse than I do though. While we've never been solicited for drugs or prostitution (mostly because everyone and there dog already has a dealer already), he constantly gets stopped by drunks asking him for money or insisting that they owe him money. Even in foreign countries, as far as I'm aware it's happened to him in Scotland, England, Wales, Turkey, Bulgaria, and Spain. The worst part is that when they realise he doesn't speak the local language they do manage broken English. It's weird.

I'm constantly being flagged down for directions, which is of course a terrible thing. In Glasgow, most people who flag me down are looking for a specific train station which is quite near the main shopping street but not quite on it, this is something that I can do - I can tell them where it is. Anywhere else and I'm screwed, because I don't know where anything is. Even my hometown people ask me how to get to streets that I've heard of (and am pretty sure are just around the corner), but I honestly haven't got a clue where they are, almost ever.

Also people constantly ask me for '50p fer bus or train fares'.
