The thing about facebook is thast is isn't just a friends and family. When I'm in the mood for it, I will go to a couple groups and start random conversations with random people. Then it's up to them if they want to add me as a friend or not. You can do so much with facebook. Everyone and their dog has a freakin facebook account. The possibilities are limitless.

With Forums, we all have something in common. The love of Final Fantasy. I think forums would have more close knit friendships then facebook. I guess it's just your view on things.
