Tattoo, piercing, body mod thread.

After seeing Rowan's thread I would like to see what the rest of you have.
I realize many of you may not have tattoos so I added on piercings and body mods.

I myself have 4 (starting my 5th may 24) tattoos. I will release them periodically through the thread as to not cluster the opening topic.

I have had a pierced lip and had stretched my ears. My ears went to a half inch before I stopped. They currently look like this. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1337235727.564539.jpg I'm at work so excuse the hair net

Can I download a mod for my body.

I actually find most piercings abhorrent, I don't mind regular ones in the ear like small studs or rings. I will not in any circumstance let my daughters get piercings until they are at least 16.

Tattoos on the other hand are underrated. I wish I had the money to get a few.
People are shunned for having an abundance of tattoos on them but I find the skin is an extension of the regular canvas.

i had my eyebrow peirced in school, thats long gone, as is the nose stud i had, my ears are peirced but i never wear ear rings, they just annoy me, the only one i wear is in that little nobbly bit outside the ear 'ole, cant remember what its called...got my nipple peirced a few years ago on a whim as well

got a few tattoos, getting one of them removed at the moment though. id like to say i was young and stupid, but i was older and should have known better. Oh well, at least its only on my arm and not somewhere even stupider like my face

Except for the ear piece I don't really find piercings to be appealing at all, I like tattoos, although if I'm going to ink something that will stay on me forever it better be damn important to me, something with deeper meaning.

I got my nose pierced last Saturday and I have 5 ear piercings but one of them has closed up. I do really want to get at least one tattoo one day but I don't know what I'd like to get yet. I don't want to get one just for the sake of having one, so I'd rather think on it for a while.

I had my ear pierced for a majority of my teen years. Then, I grew up and didn't think it was cool anymore. I took it out, the hole disappeared, and I haven't thought about getting it done again since.

My family members are big fans of tattoos. Dad has two, Mom has four, sister has five (or seven, maybe eight, I don't keep track) as well as many piercings, and my brother has two tattoos. I find them to be unappealing unless done well. But I am a firm believer that the body is one's temple. The only extra marks I want on my body are those of scars or old age. The only ink that goes on me is if I can't remember something I will write it on my hand, only to wash it off once I find a piece of paper.

Side story: Until August 2013, I am a licensed tattoo-artist. Though not a practicing one. I was asked by my Mom and one of her tattoo artist friends if I could use my credit card to get some tattoo and piercing needles for the artist's new business. He didn't have a credit card at the time, and he was going to pay me back. Unfortunately, you have to be licensed to buy needles and ink through online suppliers and catalogs. And since he didn't have good enough credit to get a card, he paid for me to get my license. It wasn't too hard. Now, his business is going through the roof.

And yes, the artist was licensed the entire time. He taught me all I needed to know to get mine. I just don't use it because I can't be bothered with it.

I got my ears pierced nearly four years ago, because my ex bought me earrings as a gift, and didn't realise I didn't wear earrings. I didn't like them and let them close up. I am not allowed to wear piercings at work anyway. Though I have considered a nipple piercing, it might be problematic if I ever had kids... :/

I have been considering getting the Assassin's insignia on my right ankle (I am quite taken with the Assassin's Creed games) but I don't know. I was talking about it with a colleague earlier in fact, though I didn't go into details. I mentioned about giving blood and the conversation went to needles, and by association, tattoos. Bizarrely, he asked me if I had any. My dad and my nan hate tattoos, so I haven't got one out of fear of my dad's reaction. He (the colleague!) thinks I should get one. Maybe I will...

I personally have three tats and one peircing.

Got tribute peices for my kids on both writsts, they are not to big, about 3 inches by 3 inches andfit well in proportion to my arms. Love those two because whn brought together they make a bigger super secret hidden picture.

Back in March I got my back peice started and posted pics here at TFF. Its simple but actually has a lot going on with it and was a long process to get but its merely my last name spanning. 12 inches by about 4.5.

Tounge has been peirced since 2000.

Actually its funny because I have been tatted 4 times but only have three. Whn I had my youngest boys ata done I had the older boys completely redone too so they looked the same and covered the hings I didn't like and flaws in the first one.

I got the outlining of my tattoo done today. Honestly not to happy about the line work, but then again it never is about the line work. It's about the shading, line work can be fixed and made to look better.
It's a family crest. I think the meaning behind the tattoo would be fairly obvious.

Thats cool man. Wish i had me a family crest.

I had 3 piercings. 2 were down below(they are long gone) and I got my tounge done with my ex gf 11 yrs ago but nvr closed up so can still be used. Seems kinda nerdy for a guy to have.
I'd go for a tatt some day but it would have to be something memorable like if I ever had kids or to mark a special time in my life.
